Fast charge option shortcut - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hey guys,
Does anyone know if there is a way to have a shortcut to Fast/slow charge option in home screen?
So far I managed to install an app that create shortcut and I'm having it 2 steps far, I have to go into battery and then options,
I was wondering if there is a way to have that options right away

Tasker?

The best way would be using Tasker.

[Q] Live Toggle Tiles

The ability to toggle things on and off from the home screen have always been important to me. This is something I feel is major that WP7 doesn't have. I am looking for the ability to have a toggle switch to turn Wifi, bluetooth, airplane mode, and other similar things on and off from the home screen. In searching the closest thing I could find is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7238403&highlight=toggle+switch#post7238403
If anyone knows about development of toggle switches or know if they are coming in the update that would be great. Thanks in advance.
Try attached file this contain toogle for.
airplane mode
wifi settings
bluetooth
data connection
location
Are these supposed to be toggle switches for the home screen or just open then settings for each individual application? For me this is taking it from three steps to turn Wifi on and off of only two steps. Thank you for the reply, and I absolutely love your registry thread, but I don't think this is what I am looking for. Please let me know if I am wrong.

I would like to see them in metro style. Simple white icons without the 3d effect.

No problem. You can do it yourself.
1. Rename the .xap file to .zip
2. Unzip the file
3. Open the unzipped folder
4. Replace the application and background icons with the icons of your choice (same size)
5. Zip all files again
6. Rename the new .zip file to .xap
7. Deploy
Personally I use Dinik Anastasia icons because on OMNIA 7 they look much better than the metro icons...

Not Switches
Once you go to settings and set each of these application you do not need a button on the home screen to get back to each individual setting. This is a waist of space for a home screen that is supposed to be clean. The switch would just turn it on and off from the home screen. I am not looking for a shortcut (and I know what one is), I am hoping to find someone working one toggle switches for the home screen.
What it would need to be is a program that runs a live tile. When the particular tile is clicked on the home screen it would have the program switch that particular connection on or off.
The look of the tile doesn't matter unless it is a useful tile.

better than this you don't get for the moment
I figured this when I searched and searched and couldn't find anything. I am hoping to spur somebody into working one this, or finding someone that already is. I was also hoping to find out if Microsoft was thinking about this.
What I would love is a one tap shortcut to 1 page with all the toggles. So instead of me going to setting- wifi - on I could go settings -on , this would apply for bluetooth, location, brightness, etc.
I swore I saw this app posted somewhere but so far all i could find are the individual app shortcuts.
PS If you're like me and actually use voice control all the time, I actually installed the wifi and location shortcuts but didn't pin them to the home screen I simple hold down the start button and say "Open Wifi" works like a charm!
I'm also waiting for a toggle feature. In fact its the only reason I haven't purchased a WP7 device yet.
As soon as there's an easy way to toggle data on/off I'm buying the HD7.
take a look .

The OP said 3 or 4 times that he doesn't want to have that, lucmar! And if you would read the first page you would see exactly that! He wants to have a toggle to switch it on/off! Is reading a post that hard?
Personally the live toggle tiles are a waste of space. My idea is to have the toggles in the menu bar that pops up when you press the volume buttons.
So you press the volume buttons, the menu pops up, you swipe left or right (same you get rid of notifications) and it brings up another part of the menu bar with access to all the common toggles.
The main advanage of this is that you can access the toggles from anywhere as the volume bar is OS wide so you don't have to quit your app/game to access the toggles unlike if you have live tiles.
This is a great idea and would be nice as an overall experience. This would take a lot of programming, and at the rate Microsoft is coming out with updates, this would not be done for another 2 or 3 years. That is why I can asking for a very simple program that turns on and off settings and has a toggle switch when pinned to the home screen. This would only take a day or two by an experience programmer. Anyone?

Well I don't know if MS reads this forum or if anyone at xda is even working on this.
That's actually a great idea. To swipe the volume bar to get comm manager toggles. Clean and simple

[Q] Android> disabling gestures

I have been trying for days now to achieve proper 'kiosk' mode on a Nexus5 running kitkat.
I am 90% of the way there using this solution
http://thebitplague.wordpress.com/2013/04/05/kiosk-mode-on-the-nexus-7/
The above solution works with one caveat> the top status bar(with battery, wifi icons, etc) is auto hidden but is still viewable on a vertical swipe from the top.
So, as a solution I want to disable swipe gestures
Is there an easy way to do this in Android?

How to enable ultra power saving mode on galaxy note 3 lollipop rom (no root method)

The Ultra Power Saving mode happens to be one of the features from the Samsung Galaxy s5 that i really wanted on my Galaxy Note 3. And i was hoping that the Kitkat update would bring this feature but that didn't happen and so did the leaked lollipop ROM. I recently stumbled on a tutorial on XDA on how to enable this feature by flashing a zip file and installing a new settings app, which requires rooting your device first. After a bit of tinkering with QuickShortcutMaker, i was able to dig into a hidden settings option which allows me to switch to the Ultra Power saving mode and enable the Greyscale mode.
First of you need to have the Lollipop ROM Installed on your Galaxy Note 3 and QuickShortcutMaker. If you have these already then you can follow the steps below. (you can achieve the same thing with Nova launcher, however i find it takes a lot more steps than QuickShortcutmaker)
1. Open the QuickShortcutmaker app, and switch to normal search from the incremental search.
2. Type in "saving" into the input field and tap on Search, you should get four results in the Settings icon.
3. tap on the Settings icon and tap on the items (i would recommend with starting with the third item) listed to get into the Shortcut creation page where you can try the shortcut to see what it does, edit the label and change the icon.
4.Tap on Try to see what the shortcut does, if you tapped on the right one. You should see the screen below.
5. Press the back button to get back to the shortcut creation page and tap on Create to place a shortcut to this menu on your homescreen (you can change the label and icon from here before creating the shortcut).
6. Once you have created the shortcut, you can now head back to your Homescreen and open the Adavnced (Ultra) Power saving menu by tapping on the shortcut icon you just created. You can choose to enable or disable any of the options in the menu, for me i rather not have the background data restricted so i have that turned off.
If you do not want to go through all the steps there is an installable APK which i have attached, that simplifies all this process.

Using the Nova launcher takes a lot more steps that's it's just better to install QuickShortcutmaker for this

UPSM won't stick. When you open it again, its still off. Is this really working. However, I'm sure gray scale is working.
Yes it works for me. My battery life has improved with this tweak. Background data does get restricted too (if enabled). I have had a look at it, look it seems this mode is quite different from the ultra power saving mode advertised for the Samsung Galaxy S5, as it allows you to use as many apps as before but under with grey scale
This is not a ultra power saving mod but just Gray scale mod of power saving.
You can't enable UPSM on N3/N4 by just adding shortcut as many resources are missing for that.
If you don't want to do too many steps then just use my APSM application (It's part of my ROM as well shared to Echos ROM - nearly page 760-770) for gray scale mod.

@martinkem thanks mate, i can get into those settings, but i can't enable the ultra mode.
any solution?
The UPSM doesnt stick, the mode you can actually enable is the Greyscale power saving mode.
wow! thanks for the share.
Thanks man
:good:wrks good. grayscale wrking.
The method with the shortcut app didn't work here because I didn't get any results searching for "saving'. However, the apk works line a charm. Thanks!
I've only tried UPSM through a custom ROM and I must say it's still not close to the official one. I'm gonna try this one, thanks

[Completed] How to switch off pull-down notification menu

Hello,
I bought a smartphone (Coolpad Modena 2) with android 6.0 onboard for my grandma. I installed a launcher made espetially for seniors. It works really well. All buttons are big, all extra apps are blocked. But there are 2 things that bother me.
1. With a swipe down the screen you can open the notification dropdown menu. From there, you can easily access all phone settings. It makes it pretty easy to mess something up. It there a way to switch off the pulldown menu?
2. With a swipe up the screen the preinstalled ROM shows up a handy menu with settings like aeroplane mode, wifi on/of, priority mode. It looks really similar to the iOS control center. Again - it makes it way too easy for my grandmother to turn aeroplane mode on for example.
I was searching for a solution all day but didn't find anything. Maybe there is a custom ROM where you can disable this kind of menus? Maybe there is an other solution?
I will be glad for any help !

Greetings and welcome to assist. I'm not sure if you can disable it with a custom rom or root but you could try nova launcher. You can resize the icons with it and customize allmost all the gestures. It may be a bit more complicated to set up but when done should do the trick
Good Luck

Creating a shortcut to launch Edge Screen

Hey guys is there a way we can create a shortcut to launch (slide open) the edge screen without using the traditional way off swiping.
The reasoning for this is with a full screen of stuff and my fat big fingers it's a 50 / 50 chance of getting the swipe right. I have tried looking for a week without any success so it's time to ask the question.
I think it would be better to have a icon to press than missing the swipe half the time and opening up something u have accidently swiped trying to open the edge.
I've tried tasker and secure settings and struggling to find the right path. ( can open settings and panels but can't find how to launch the screen.)
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm curious as well. I looked to see if there was a way to do this with Nova's shortcuts but didn't have any success there.
I got one solution sorted credit goes to another member of a different website.
Go to developer options check show pointer location to get the xy coordinates of your Edge Handle and go to tasker and do a run shell action. Make sure u check the root box., then I shortcut it on Nova Launcher.
