Hello. First time poster. I came online looking to see if there is a solution to an annoying problem I have ever since the update that added hourly chime to my watch. I thought it was just supposed to be one, pleasant chime at the top of the hour. Well, mine chimes, but not just once. It seems to chime at least 5 times (once for each watch face, maybe??). I deleted a few watch faces to see if it helped, and it seemed to, but there are watch faces you can't delete.
Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know how to fix it? It's annoying.

Background first: I've owned the Sony Smartwatch since the beginning of the year and other than the usual charging issue, it was working fine for the first few months. I ran into a point where no matter what I did, I couldn't get it to work and then found the "solution" (for me, anyway), which was doing some scraping of the connections and it would charge, but not all the time, it still took some tweaking and pressure points, etc. I believe in between the last time I wore it regularly until about 2 weeks ago, it was working fine, but I hadn't used it for about a month or so prior to that. And now the accelerometer does not seem to be working anymore and I'm not sure if it's from the latest software/firmware upgrade or something else I did. It does not vibrate when coming on or turning off and definitely doesn't work when I get an alert.
So, the question: Has this happened to anyone else? I have a Galaxy SIII and have had it the entire time I've used the Smartwatch. I have not upgraded the ROM on the phone, and only the Smartwatch/Smartconnect apps and the firmware on the watch have been changed, and as far as I know, it was never dropped or harmed enough to jar the accelerometer, and was in a drawer waiting to be used.
This week I picked up a Pebble and have found that it's usefulness goes beyond the Smartwatch, even though there might be more power in the Sony. Because of the frustration of the charging and the usefulness of the Pebble, I've opted to sell the Sony, and I'm hoping someone out there has been able to solve this so that I can actually sell a functioning watch. Also, if anyone is interested in making an offer the way it is, feel free to PM me.
I'm taking it that no one else has had this problem due to the lack of responses...
So far I've had this happen a couple of times. I'll look down and my watch has changed faces, it always seems to revert back to the stock watch face. Just wondering if I'm the only one with this happening.
Nope, it's happened to me a couple of times. I just figured it was an error in the watchface that was active and set it back. It's a pretty low error rate, so I'm just dealing with it. =-]
As in the title, now that I have turned on the lock which should only activate when I take off the watch I find that it activates while still on my wrist. This is happening seemingly randomly several times a day and is quite annoying. I like the security of it locking if it's not on my wrist but it is becoming a nuisance. Anyone having a similar problem?
I'm having the same problem. I found this post from a Google search, hoping to find a solution.
Were you able to figure it out?
same issue here. very annoying. i've ended up disabling the PIN lock because it keeps happening (i assume because it's not super tight on my wrist, but i don't want it too tight).
It seems to be one of a few glitches on the gear S2 (i also can't tag HR measurements, and the weather app often won't refresh if my Note4 hasn't been used in a few hours).
pretty disappointed with Samsung since these issues have been around for months.
It's weird because mine does too, yet my bf's doesn't. I'm thinking to just reset to factory and start over.
This is an old thread, but did anyone ever find a solution? Mine was working fine until I started disabling things to extend battery life... now it locks as soon as the screen blanks. I have a feeling there's something it needs for heartrate monitor that I disabled... any ideas? Thanks
I just got the Gear Fit2 Pro this week and began using it yesterday as I also have a Gear S3, so the first thing I noticed is that I was missing all my notifications. The watch doesn't have a speaker so we just rely on the vibration to know that we got a notification.
At some point yesterday I noticed that I had about 4 or 5 emails and other notifications pending but never felt the vibration, so I immediately went to the settings to see if there was a Vibration intensity or something but I just noticed that the only other option besides the vibration on and off is the long buzz, so it should vibrate longer for each notification. I decided to give that a try but the same thing, no vibration with the notification.
I decided to reboot the watch and then as soon as I received the first notification it vibrated but then no more vibration after that, so it seems that it only vibrates once after each reboot (I have tested it a couple of times now).
Looking around on Google and other forums I can't find another Gear Fit2 Pro with the same issue but there are dozens of similar reports from Gear Fit2 users, one of them worried me a little as he said that it was fixed only asking for service from Samsung, I think he mentioned that they replaced the vibration motor or something.
Problem for me is that I got this used on Swappa, no receipts, so no service from Samsung (I don't live in Continental US so here in Puerto Rico we don't exist for them) plus the seller, original owner, insists that it was working fine when he had it. I know that I can always open a claim on Paypal and ask for a full refund but I was just wondering if this is indeed a software issue and not hardware, I mean, it works after a reboot, that alone tells me that it may be software related. So I'm wondering if someone else is having or had a similar issue and if it was solved, somehow.
I've resetted it twice now and I'm currently testing it again, I just did a reset an hour ago, so I'm hoping for the best, but if you have any more details about this I'd really appreciate any help you may provide to me, thanks
I've the same issue it vibrates only one

Hello!
So, I am using Samsung S8+ and use it as my alarm clock. Today I had set my alarm at 7.30 am (I usually snooze for about half an hour until 8am before I go to work). So I woke up as usually at 7.30am, hit the snooze button (10 minutes interval), but just about a minute later the phone rings. So this time it is someone who is actually calling me. Never have anybody call me this early, so I get a bit surprised. At this time I am pretty tired, so the call hung up before I managed to take it. I decided to check the call history of who it was, but the last call I had was from my dad almost a week ago.
So all im wondering is why the number that called didnt come up in my history or if anyone else had a similar issue before. Only thing I was thinking was that the phone is pretty old by now so maybe that can be some kind of malfunction. Anyone else experienced this issue?
Thanks,
