My images are made for s9+ original, it sounds like the recovery partition is too small to take the image, it probably won't boot into twrp anyway as the original is based on s9 device tree. You will need to get an image made for you. Go to playstore and look up twrp builder app and you can put in a request to the guys there and after a while they will make you an image for unbranded phones etc
New style Midnight added with new splash, lock screen and progress animation ?? Enjoy
New OneUi style twrp released, has Samsung style keyboard for terminal etc enjoy
Updated OneUI theme, repositioned the buttons on keyboard, added black background to terminal ctrl bar, added new lock screen, it's transparent so you can check your flash progress, you can also now take screenshots of the lock screen ? and the progress bar and slider bar that were blue before are now light grey. Enjoy ?

Probably because nobody downloaded this file for years.
Download link worked for me...
... and TWRP 3.0.2 works, it's the stock ROM that's somewhat broken...
Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

Croats have always been smartasses, of course I'm not so stupid. I didn't marked system partition read only, that's why it won't boot, but it's ok now.

I am not the one calling you stupid, no need to get sassy. Marking the system as a read-only one should be the default in my TWRP builds as far as I remember, I have no clue how yours was the only one which had that disabled. But good job at figuring it out.
can i use the MT6755 SCATTER on nougat?
Note: This is not for bootanimation. This is for changing the Mi logo that shows up when you turn on the phone.

You can connect in any mode ADB or fastboot... It has inbuilt options to change between modes... I.e. reboot to bootloader...
I would advise to...
Connect with ADB mode... Open Android Device Tools... Backup existing Splash... Then Press Reboot to bootloader... Then flash your splash...
some friendly reminder : for those who using stock miui without root or modifications , disable dm verify to avoid bootloop .
I made a logo for redmi 3S
Note : Source Code Added.
Made this Open Source.
