You did? Neat. I'm assuming though you have two OnePlus 7 Pro's since you've got the direct one from OP listed in your signature lol

Anyone wanting to get the unlock bin needs to go to the website listed in this post after getting Sim unlocked. Follow the instructions. It says it's for the 6T, but this works for the 7 pro also. I know because I did it. My unlock bin will be here Tuesday.
https://support.oneplus.com/app/ans...-bootloader-for-oneplus-6t-(t-mobile-edition)
When I put my info in it is saying "Please enter a valid IMEI number." I am putting in the information that I pulled with fastboot command and I have triple checked the number. I called OnePlus customer support and they are telling me that the website has not been updated to handle the 7 Pro yet. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm talking with OnePlus via live chat so hopefully I can get somewhere. I will post back with the results. I have all the numbers in correctly as far as the unlock code as well as the IMEI. I did this with three 6Ts just last December.

A few of us have come across the same issue.
Please let us know your findings
noob question but I followed the instructions on how to unlock bootloader and when I go to developer options:
OEM unlocking is un-clickable. It tells me "bootloader is already unlocked"
I'm good to go with rooting and twrp installation and all that?
I see you guys are talking about unlock tokens, and I'm confused a bit...
I got the phone directly from OP, model: GM1917

hello,
I'm due to take delivery of my Pixel from EE. Is it true that the booloader cannot be unlocked via normal fastboot oem unlock? Are there any other EE user that confirm?
thanks

I've received 2 phones direct from EE (1 replacement arrived last week) , and both were on 7.1 out of the box. So there's hope for you being able to unlock the bootlader. Just make sure you skip Wi-Fi setup during the installation process, or turn off automatic updates within Developer options to avoid updating to 7.1.1.
Then use Depixel8 to unlock the bootlader.

Thanks for letting me know. Worst case I'll swap it and go with o2. Coming from a oneplus3 it's disappointing to be back with development unfriendly devices

I pulled my sim out of my Verizon model before I turned it on to stop any updates along with skipping wifi setup before I unlocked the bootloader. Thankfully mine was on 7.1. Unlocking was one of the first things I did. After that you can upgrade without locking it back up.

As mentioned, don't put a sim in it and skip wifi setup until you get it unlocked. They download the update quickly....And it installs in the background and if that happens you are done.
You will be fine.
There is about 3 threads a week asking the same exact question..
After posting this I just saw the same exact one right under this one.
Guess it must be a popular question.

Something is really problematic here. Your product ID should not change with the EMUI version. I tried but getting error as-
Please make sure the verification code and model number are correct. If your device has multiple IMEIs or MEIDs, please try another IMEI or MEID.

check if the data on phone and phone box are same.

Ugly problem. I remember that my product ID changed after the update, and I'm sure of this because i was preparing everything to unlock the bootloader and root my phone BEFORE the update, but at the end the OTA arrived earlier than expected so i rooted my phone only once i was on nougat... dunno how to fix data that are unmatchable (damn, Huawei!) Is it kind of joke from Huawei. We dont get the code on official site due to one or the other reason but get the same on 3rd party after paying for it. How can they disclose our code on 3rd party and then other party charges us (may be share with Huawei as well)

Most likely these 3rd party's have cracked the algorithm for generating the unlock code.
I have tried everything to unlock my Pixel 2 from Verison and I can't enable OEM unlocking. Please Help!!!
If it hasnt been patched in the latest update, this works without enabling the oem unlock switch. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=75076844

With the exploit you cannot flip the OEM unlock through developer settings. You have to be on the 1st Jan patch or December patch to unlock the bootloader through fastboot.

Did you buy a verizon variant or the google one?
There was no indication either way. It just said “unlocked,” referring to the carrier. It works fine on AT&T. I think it’s basically a dice roll.
I think I have to send the ****ing thing back and buy it new from Google in order to be sure, which is ENORMOUSLY aggravating. The Verizon device and generic device should be two entirely different SKUs.

On the outside of the box, if you see "SIM ID" as one of the barcodes, that is a Verizon unit. Google and Fi units don't have that since they don't ship with a physical sim card. Instead, they have "ESIM ID."

If you convert to the international firmware, you don't need an unlock token. You will be able to unlock your bootloader without an unlock token.

Greetings, so I recently upgraded my phone to oxygenos12 and it came with a lot of glitches and I hate it. Try to flash back oxygen11 and realised the bootloader is locked. So I tried downloading back the unlock token for the phone from my email and the oneplus token page keeps coming up blank with no token download. I saw you have to be logged in to download it and I did the same and I get the same blank page. what's really going on here? I really need oxygen11 back since this 12 here isn't supporting my two sim cards and my cellular data isn't working!!!!
OnePlus page must be down. I’ve been trying to get on there for the last 12 hours.
I have been trying this too,, it's coming blank.. like what's happening here I just get my new phone which is t mobile varient
Website is still down for me. I contacted OnePlus and they went on the routine of trying to make me fill out for another unlocking token and telling me it’s 7 days blah blah blah. They weren’t getting the fact that their website is broken. Finally after 30 different screen shots and copied links they finally understood. Hopefully the IT team can get the page back up asap
Still blank for me. Just my luck... I've been putting off rooting my oneplus 6t for so many years and finally decided to do it...

Hi you shouldn't need a token to unlock bootloader for OnePlus devices.
You should also have OEM unlock enabled in developer options.

this is inncorrect for the TMOBILE variant. FOR TMOBILE ONLY.... the oem unlock option is only so you can retrieve the unlock code. once you receive the token you will be able to flash it and fully unlock the phone.

I still haven't been able to get on the site. It's still broken here for me. I talked to chat support multiple times and it takes some convincing that the site is actually broken. Then I send them links and screenshots and they say they will send it over to IT.. but is been almost a week and nothing has been fixed... I asked them it they could send me my unlock token file in a email and no response lol
This is my first experience with one plus and it's not so good the phone is good but the tech support sucks nobody seems to know anything about why the page is broken or when it will be fixed or for that matter any way to deal with this token crap.
Looks like OnePlus doesn’t give a ****.this is ridiculous
I just got done with chat support was able to drag some info out apparently the support department has only received a communication from the team handling the token page issue with please give more time. I have a feeling that they have no idea what's going on and have a complete communication breakdown so who knows how long this is gonna take. I only received the generic answer of please give another 24hrs for a response "I won't hold my breath" in the meantime dose anyone know a bypass for getting around this token nonsense?

Wrong!!! The T-Mobile variant requires a unlock token. Only the factory unlocked version does not.

Technically it is the T-Mobile software that's triggering that. If you convert it to global or EU, you don't need it, but you get stuck having to have root to get data working (software thinks the phone is dual SIM and it breaks it). Also, if your device is SIM locked, it's stuck that way unless you flash back to T-Mobile firmware to unlock it.

Nope, just an MSM Tool that can flash a T-Mobile variant. I don't know if one exists for the 9 but there is one for the 9 Pro that you can use to get to EU software and then use the global 9 downgrade package to get back to proper 9 firmware.
Convert your T-Mobile (LE2127) to EU via MSM, No unlock.bin needed!
*** Use this at your very own risk. *** You will lose all data *** Backup your working modemst1/2 and persist. If you lose these for any reason, it's unique to your device and not recoverable if you didn't back up (via MSM or other people). ***...
