T-Mobile people. Did your device come with a preinstalled screen protector?
If you did get one can you indicate what color device you got.
Mine is the grey and did not have a screen protector preinstalled.

Nope ...
Blue and no screen protector, that's pretty low
T-Mobile probably asked OnePlus to not include so they can sell us the $44.95 one ,
What's worse OnePlus agreed
I bought the Grey, and It didn't come with the screen protector (It did have the clear case in the box)
Since T-Mobile decided to remove the screen protector (along with Fnatic mode, and Digital Wellbeing) I decided to buy from the OnePlus site and return my phone. I paid $60 in taxes from T-Mobile, so even paying the restocking fee of $50 I pay less from OnePlus's site anyway.
I feel its low of T-mobile to remove things, especially the screen protector. I don't want to buy from them if they do that.
Good move! My days of buying from carriers ended years ago!

I usually don't, but I wanted it today, and my option was carrier or wait.
Should have waited, but oh well.

[I posted to international One X section earlier and they asked me to post here]
I'm going to buy a slightly used LTE One X tomorrow from a craigslist ad and I'm quite excited about it. However, I have once been scammed couple of years ago by buying a water-damaged phone.
Can someone here please tell me where exactly to look for the water damage indicator? It's unibody so checking battery will not be possible. I tried to search the forums/google but couldn't find anything about HTC One X there. Also, I'll appreciate if someone can share any other tip on buying a used phone.
Its not by the USB, so I would guess its either on the bottom of the headphone jack or in the Sim slot. I don't have a flashlight to check but those would be the only 2 places I could see it located.
I think it is at the top of the sim slot if you take the card out. I didn't see anything in the headphone port.

My ex dropped her iPhone in the toilet 2 weeks after getting it for her birthday and I just painted the water sensors back white and sent it in. Worked

The Only problem is that it will be "difficult" to reach the indicator in the sim card.
Heard many cases of people getting scammed into buying fake S6s so I wanna check with you guys if these photos a seller sent me look legitimate

Everything except the screens showing it running. That is how you are really going to know. Buy instead from a known source and you don't have to worry.
Looks legit...
Corners scratched BTW I looked at the same one on eBay

just never buy a phone without running CPU-Z on it first.
When I have sold phones I've uploaded a photo of the phone showing the CPU-Z screen CPU info so people know it's legit.
There's way too many fakes out there these days.
Not only that, but I hear stories of people buying phones second hand and then a week or later they become black listed.
Some people sell their phones then claim they got it stolen or lost and claim on insurance for a new one, the insurance company then blacklists the old EMEI number.
Long story short, I would never buy a second hand phone.
If it's Ebay you have 14 days iron clad money back clause. When you get it, check it, if it's fake, send it back but make sure you start your refund process direct with ebay, not by dialog with the seller.
If you can a screen of it in Recovery then you'll know it's real. If it comes up in Chinese then it'a a fake

Guys,
Any thing I can do to fix this cosmetic damage on this amazing phone???

Get a case that covers the entire bezel, that's about the best you can do.
Samsung said 70 to fix it, is it worth it to fix?

How are we going to tell you if its worth 70 dollars to fix? Thats your call man, is it worth it to you? Thats the question
Lol, Its a good looking phone. Just wanted people to chime in, or read what they would do
ONYX VZ S7 EDGE
I wouldn't pay the $70 to fix it. Use that money and buy a case that covers the bezel like mentioned above but also get a colored case so that it hides that blemish.
I guess its my ocd. I have an Incipio case and a Case mate Naked clear. Just knowing its there, is like ahhh
ONYX VZ S7 EDGE
At this point, i would spend 70 bucks to get a case that covers the bezel. Have seen videos of this device where they use a razor blade to smooth out the sides? May or may not make it look better.
Sucks man.
Either pay the money and have the phone looking right.
Or spend half that on a case that will cover and protect the phone from more damage.
Lastly dont worry about it.
Or get some body filler, fill it in, sand it smooth and paint it
Has anyone seen a true bumper case for the Note 7? Meaning without a back panel.
I noticed a couple aluminum ones popping up on Ebay but I know those always cause signal issues.
That is exactly what I am looking for too. Hopefully a nice one comes out, or at least someone finds one.

Rhino Shield is showing a pre-order to get an idea of how many people want them. I've had them on my iphone 6 plus and nexus 6p. They're awesome bumper cases and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I hope they finalize the design and get the note 7's out soon because i'll be buying one on day one.
I use a clear one. Looks decent enough.

I would highly recommend evolutive labs Rhinoshield! I have it for my note 5 and love it. Great bumper. Wish they would be ready ro ship now as in a lot of people gwt cases when a new phone 1st comes out. Hopefully they will offer a lotbof color choices.
Website says available in Sept. and you pre-order later this month. Definitely will get this along with a leather slickwrap.

Got a sandstone blue in the pre-order box for free so will use it for now. Getting Spigen when it is released.
latercase best one 0.6mm thin almost no etui on it. Incrase grip and no change to dimensions of phone
I always use the oneplus originals, great cases!
By the way, how's the transparant stock cover/case you get out of the box? Since all OnePlus Nord cases/covers are sold out here in the Netherlands in 48 hours.
Can't wait till tomorrow to unbox the device!

Minimal protection provided by the included case. Its quite a nice transparent case albeit it is a bit thin for my liking.
Thnx! I'm gonna pre-order a better case! I was thinking about Spigen (same as on my OP5) after 3 years and 8 drops still good quality
