Can anyone try to edit this power key ( fingerprint ) to open phone (xperia xz) without press on it

Hello,
I'm lost into key ordering to put the folio 100 into different modes/stats...
Do i write synthesis, Can someone confirm this ?
(I probably found an interseting toshiba doc for locked/bricked folio to force reboot folio 100...)
MODES :
* Normal mode
This il the default starting mode, when you power folio100 running the OS.
* Recovery mode
This is the mode where you can reset the folio 100 default settings, and you can upgrade the ROM with new one automatically
(http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/OPT0C032V0000R01.htm)
* Bootloader mode
With this mode you can propably use nvflash to collect and push data over folio100
or exemple to dump all partitions datas, etc...
ACCESS :
Power + VolumeUp : Recovery Mode access
Power + VolumeUp >> VolumeDown : (Cancel) Start OS
Power + VolumeUp >> VolumeUp : Recovery Mode menu
Power + VolumeUp >> VolumeUp > VolumeUp : Factory Reset menu
Power + VolumeUp >> VolumeUp > VolumeDown : System Update menu
Power + VolumeUp >> VolumeUp > VolumeDown > VolumeUp : System Update confirmation
4 x Power + VolumeDown >> Bootloader mode
5 x Power + VolumeDown >> BE CAREFULL : This seem to Lock/brick definitivelly the Folio (Firmware seem to go into a deadloop....)
But I dont' know if it's the solution, but you can apparently force Folio100 to reboot probably out of the deadloop firmware with the "force reboot pinhole"
(http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/OPT0C032F0000R01.htm). I dont try this, I don't know if it's work, i hope Dexter_nlb do this try with hes bricked Folio 100
(seen here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831086)
Thanks to confirm me

PS: sorry for my bad english
Autoresponding...
Hello,
Hum...(<-- embarrased) I just undertand that back black platic panel it's very very easy to remove (unlike iphone & co, for exemple) to access to battery, etc...
So i think most of you found the "reset pinhole" a long time ago...
Dexter send me a message to clearly say that "Reset pinhole" DONT leave the "deadloop".
Actually there is NO SOLUTION to leave this deadlocked stat

Welcome to A2 section farzii
there is no working method for making camera button to work as a power button, don't waste your time cause I've searched and tried a lot of those mapping methods and Xposed modules....THE ONLY WAY to save your trickle power button is to use volume rocker (buttons) as a power button, they works great and you will even get 2 power buttons (volume UP) and (volume DOWN).
The method is really simple...but first you've to root your A2 (you can search the help forum for HOW TO)
2) install Xposed framework (xposed.installer_v32_de4f0d) is the latest version.
3) install (XposedInstallerStaticBusyBox_v1) if you're on a custom rom.
4) Installation of the framework:
Launch the Xposed Installer, go to the "Framework" section and click on "Install/Update"
Reboot.
5) install xposed additions module (com.spazedog.xposed.additionsgb).
6) now open Xposed and activate xposed additions module.
7) Reboot again.
8) open xposed additions and select "Buttons" then "Add new Key".
9) now press volume up (or down).
10) a new button will be added called volume up (press it and choose "add new condition" then press "Screen off"
11) a new option will appear called "SCREEN OFF no active condition" now press it to choose the condition
12) Now activate the "Click Action" option by pressing its right (check-in) mark then choose it and select "Power Key 26"
voila! you've a new power button :highfive:
if you want to set the volume down also just do the same above but when prompt to ask for pressing the key just press vol. down
To make it easier for you....all file required are provided in the attachments

hmmm...you can power off the device using "power dialog" shortcut in the status bar in 4.4 kitkat roms but while phone is off it's technically impossible to set another button to power on the device as power button is the only button connected to the power circuit inside the phone.
Xposed
Notes : This is Xposed Framework + Modules. Please take a Backup of ur ROM if in case going to "soft-brick" ur device.
Pre-Requesites
Root access (# or superuser/supersu)
It is important to perform this to access the application to system partition to modify sensitive files.
BusyBox ( Stericsson/JRummy)
It is also recommended to install this after rooting ur device to be able the root access work properly and enable all features.
Custom Recovery (TWRP/CWM (official/unofficial) )
This is also recommended to install this after rooting and busybox installation. You need this to flash zip files (flashable zip file to device) and installing or updating ROM.
InstallationStep 1 : Install the zip through recovery. Not in normal Mode. To open recovery, Turn off your phone and after vibrates, Press and hold Vol- and Power button. On some devices, Vol+ and Power button On any other devices Vol+ + HomeButton +Power. (Samsung Devices) On any other devices While the phone is needed to turn on and while in home screen press and hold Power button + Volume- + Volume + ( Do IT Quickly) (Nexus Devices) and for Other Sony devices Power button and while in SONY Logo, a couple of Press Volume- and will enter into recovery mode. If you see that there's 'enter recovery', press power button.
Step 2 : (CWM RECOVERY) Press volume- and volume+ to scroll the highlight and power button is select. If you're using an old recovery, follow this. install zip --> apply update from sdcard /external sd or storage/sdcard0 or storage/sdcard1 and select the zip file. move the highlight to install "blahblahblahxyz.zip'' and reboot your phone.
Step 2. 1 : TWRP RECOVERY if u use touch version, go to install --> and select the directory under sdcard foler and swipe the arrow to flash and reboot your phone.
Step 3 : When your phone is booted up, it will install the Xposed installer , Flat style Indicator and Flat Style Colored Bar . Open the Xposed Installer and go to Framework , tick Install/Update and Press back button 2x . And go to Modules , tick checkbox the Flat Style Colored Bar and Flat Style Indicator.
Reboot
After reboot If bootloop presents, go to recovery and restore your back up ROM. I have some screenshots.
Take note that the SystemUI in notification shade doesn't change and it will not replace SystemUI.apk
THUMBS UP and HIT THANKS.,. :good: :good:
XDA Assist is not the place for this.

Hi.
I forgot the password of my Nokia Lumia 820 and I am trying to unlock it using the Aroma file manager. I already downloaded and moved Aroma file manager to the memory card. Now I need to boot my locked Nokia Lumia 820 into recovery mode and go to install zip from SD card. BUT I do not know how to enter the recovery mode in a Nokia Lumia 820. I have tried all these combinations: Power + Volume Up - Power + Volume Down - Power + Volume Up + Volume Down, Power + Volume Up + Camera button- etc, and nothing. could you please help me?
Thank you
Regards
