Are you using it in the United States. If not the factory firmware may not support those bands. I would look up flashing unlocked firmware. Or try reflashing the csc and cp files in Odin maybe it's a radio error

I noticed that network coverage lost, service disabled was displayed. I put in different SIM card - no success. Checked IMEI - unkonown. Can't enter mobile network preferences(grayed out). Tried to reset through software, nothing happens. Then tried to reset by holding power+down key and after logo flash release power and press again power does'n work. I tried different combination, nothing happens. Then I entered 3845#*802# and when trying to to reset from there - again nothing happens. Tried to select network type in *#*#*#4636#*#*#* and it is changing back to unknown. Phone seems to be very slow and 4636 code needs some 5 minutes to start working.
What could be wrong? I'm out of warranty and have phone only 6 months. I haven't been messing with roms or rooting.

Thank you rico_g01
So I have to look for D80220f ROM version and flash?
Do you reckon it is the only way? I'll flash it, but I would like to know what could cause such a behavior.
Downloade and flash the latest firmware d80230a 5.0.2 from lg-phone-firmware
I don´t know why,it´s wired because this doesn´t hapen to non rooted devices

I opened LG G2 firmware page and got confused. I'm using phone in Ireland, but phone was bought in Latvia(Baltics). Which version should I choose?
I'm now trying to push through sales man who sold me phone to take it for repair, if it does not goes through, I'm going to flash. Never done flashing, so I'll leave it as last resort option.
You can downloade any firmware that is open for the d802
I have on my LG g2 PORTUGAL_OPEN_16G the latest one
Hi,
This is my first post but, I'm an avid lurker. I am having some issues with my girlfriends 920i. It received an OTA update to marshmallow and ever since it won't read the Sim card. I've tried to flash the official fw through Odin and still having the same problem. Because it doesn't read my Sim card, I have zero access to any mobile network settings.
I am wondering if when they updated the marshmallow, I lost unlock capability.
Also, her imei and sn still match. Most of the problems I see people have are mismatched numbers, and her phone seems fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So, I checked the firmware that I flashed and it was INS which seems to be the locked version.
I flashed the INU firmware this morning but still not reading my SIM.
I'm out of options at this point, I'm going to go back to lollipop and see how that goes.
Hi,
I am having this issue for my SM G-920I since 2/3 Jan, 2017. I am using fine on US Tmobile network since Oct 2015, but all of a sudden got the no SIM, emergency calls only and continues to stay like this.. I am curious to know if you resolved the issue and how. Thanks for any feedback!
Help me please
I'm having the same issue. Just flashed INS 6.0.1 firmware on my brand new G920I and now i can't get any mobile signal or data. Tried to flash ZTO firmware for my country, but same issue. My phone was fine before flashing INS firmware. IMEI it's fine too. Recovery shows: Applied multi-csc. What can i do? ((((((((((

Try to connect to Wi-Fi only and once connected, check if there are updates for Software/Firmware.

Already updated and tried to downgrade to 5.1.1, but no sucess. I don't think it's a hw problem, cause it was working before the INS firmware flash, and IMEI number still shows right, no matter what rom i flash (now on MIUI). Can i clean EFS partition and try to flash ZTO firmware again, or i might lost my IMEI and get more problems? Also, wondering if advanced wipe with everything checked on TWRP can help. (data, internal storage, system, sbfs, cache, dalvik cache)
Can you open the phone dialer and enter this code *#*#4636#*#* then clikc Phone Information, and send a screenshot of what you see in the screen (Make sure no IMEI in the screenshot, before you post it here) ? Also check if Radio is OFF or ON.

Codes on my dialer doesn't work, but i'm sure the IMEI is right cause it's showing in phone information. Also, radio is on cause when i search for mobile networks the carriers of my country appears on the screen but when i click on then, just appears a message saying that can't connect
Same problem, any solutions?
I had same issue for over a year, you can check details in my thread, resolved by factory warranty motherboard replacement (free of charge, even thou knox was tripped when I bought it, and I told lady in authorised repair shop that i don`t have warranty).
Forgot to mention that I also tried to repair it via Octoplus box, both by me and some other people (wanted a second opinion), DRK fixed, few new certs written, etc.), not only by flashing fw via Odin or Smart Switch.
And I was 99% sure it was hw, turns I was right.
P.S. country dependable: - in some countries they will probably want to sell you a new motherboard in Samsung (happened to me), but in other factory warranty will be accepted (probably, if the phone is not older than 3 yrs I guess)
Hallo,

After water damage my phone have no mobile network, no emergency call
The Settings in menu will be not shown, i can't change nothing.
I have stock ROM 6.0.1

It's a hardware issue or software ?
I would say Hardware, but i don't understand why i can not see Network Settings in menu.
Can i activate debug logs, for modem initiation?

Have you tried a factory reset? Try flashing a firmware with odin, outside of that it certainly sounds like a hardware issue.

Yes, I tried. Two ROMS over Odin, both run, but without mobile network.
...And fingerprint don't work, but i don't need it.
Hi all hope there's some help here.
My phone has decided in the last 2 days that there's no service. It's turned off the GSM radio (checked under sim status - service status), and I can't figure out how to turn it back on. Marshmallow 6.0.1
I've tried wiping cache, tried factory reset, tried different sim.
I was thinking that re-flashing a stock rom might re-initialise it, unless anyone has any other ideas?
If so what do I need to install and do to flash the rom?
Thanks.
I tried to install Malaysian firmware and then I wanted to go back to my stock ORS CSC, but now it's giving me SER CSC and I can't go back to my original CSC, I tried reflashing, sim card ejecting, codes in dialer, etc. and nothing works. it's OXM, any ideas?
I also have a problem with my CSC, I never tried flashing anything onto the phone, but when I first turned it on I did it with no SIM card as it didn't arrive yet and now my CSC is stuck on generic EUX instead of my country code.
I tried a network settings reset, a cache wipe and a factory reset, I also tried those methods of pulling the card out and putting it back in when the phone is off or just taking it out and putting back in while phone is off, none of it worked.
The phone got the April security update so I don't think I'm totally screwed but I don't have Samsung Pay and Members only recently started to work.

no one knows as I can see. Only pay samkey.
I think you could maybe use a patched odin because the original odin is region locked so you can't change your region and or carrier after that you change it. And also 1 thing, I don't know for sure if that works.
I hope this helps it's just a thing that I thought of that could maybe help
