Amazon account problem - Fire HD 8 and HD 10 General

Hi guys, I've just bought an amazon fire hd 8 the problem is the tablet only recognizes the Italian account even though it is set in English UK and I have a UK Prime subscription. How can I solve this issue? Basically I've always used the same login for amazon and when I moved to UK Ive just changed region on the same account. Could that be the root of the problem? Also Alexa suffers the same.. Only Italian store. Obviously I can't use my prime account.. I don't understand why on my phone is working correctly with same log in[emoji848][emoji848]

sounds like might want to see if you can change your amazon account back to your old address. for physical shopping you use another account with your new adress.

Hey, I'm in the UK and bought a tab from "purely gadgets", It defaulted to Chinese language and time, but I can't work out what firmware it is running. I'd like to be able to flash to a UK firmware (if one is available) as there seems to be a few differences.
flash the ones with XX*** in sammobile.com. however, it would default to Indonesian language since it was released there. Just change it to english or whatever language you want.
Same here !
I bought my Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus 7.0 from the Philippines and I am in the US now..My Market Apps is in peso and I cant find Bank of America apps...How can change it to US Market?
The market is related to the sim card you are using. You need to have your device rooted and have the Market Access app installed. Then you can spoof any carrier and access the related market.

YES it works! I changed my sim to US sim (at&t) from Philippine sim (globe) and now my Market currency is on US dollars. Thanks for the tip! Btw i did not even root my tablet, I just changed my sim to US sim and it works!

S7 everyday use in China: many problems

Hi the community,
Few months ago I bought a SGS7 SM-G930K (Korean variant). I'm almost happy with, expect the battery life which has never been very good, the software limitation with the Korean variant and Samsung Pay which doesn't want to work because of the sim card.
Now I have moved to China and the battery is even worse than before. The services of Google try to connect to the Google server, but it doesn't work here. So the Google services sometimes more than 40% of the battery... Plus the Google Services, the Play Store often crash. I can't use Gmail, Google Maps etc. I don't know why but here the wifi and network reception are very bad.
I don't know what to do, because my phone here became in pain in the neck. The phone is very good, but because of all my problem since I'm living in China, I was wondering if it was not better to sell it and buy a Chinese variant or another phone? Or do you know if I can modify the software to fix my problem? I don't want to root the phone because I'm still hoping to use Samsung Pay on day or to sell the phone.
Thanks in advance.
You could sell it and try a Chinese Variant however I would recommend firstly flattening it and starting from scratch (so full factory reset) and see how you get on

Thanks for your answer. But if I do a factory reset, I won't be able to install any app or synchronise my data again because I can't access to Google services... Of course there is VPN, but I will need 1 week to synchronise my phone again because it's super slow.

HTC Alexa (Updated)

I had previously raised this post because HTC Alexa was installed on my phone but could not use it and unfortunately did not get a response from anyone. I noticed that only US, UK, and Germany are supported. I live in the UK but I got my phone from Hong Kong, does anyone know how we can make it work here in the UK?
I was looking forward to using it too and have an official UK version from HTC but honestly Alexa isn't worth it at the moment, maybe in an update or two...it's very limited functionality wise and assistant can do so much more..

LEO-DLXX model question

Hi,
I'm planning on purchasing a Huawei watch 2 however here in Australia they all seem to be grey imports and they all seem to be the LEO-DLXX model / version of the watch.
I guess my question is will I be able to use the watch with Google Play, receive OTA updates etc with this model without any problems?
I've read issues related to the chinese version of the Huawei watch 2 and wanted to make sure I didn't run into any issues.
Thanks
That is the model number of my 4G watch and I bought it in the UK from Watch Hut. Mine is not a grey import.
I got mine LEO-DXX unlocked from operator in central Europe. I donĀ“t think this version is "GREY"
I have one of these too, it is I guess the generic (so for Central Europe mainly) 4G aka LTE model.
It does a great job. PlayStore and everything is genuine.
It is so generic that even thought I got it from a Hungarian provider it only has English language. (along with a few other languages)
I encourage you to get one of these. I think Amazon UK sells this too. (it was on sale in the US I understood the other day)
What is the difference between the Leo-DLXX and the Leo-DLXXU ?
Leo-DLXX. Huawei Watch 2 4G Sport (nano sim)
Leo-DLXXU. Huawei Watch 2 Pro (esim)
Hi. I have a Huawei Watch 2 LEO-DLXX. Can I activate the eSIM feature?
Anyone had success with this watch in the US? My att sim doesn't work but I will try T-mobile later today.

No, It doesn't support Esim

@jobrima: I've checked the kernel how eSim / SIM is supported. The firmware is same, there is a difference in pull up/pull down on one gpio from CPU and probably eUICC chip soldered instead of SIM card slot.
ROM is same. There is a difference in the hardware, as I mentioned in my earlier post. It would be great if somebody who has version with eSim can take some photos of PCB. Or maybe somebody have schemas?

Hell yes! If possible buy the Indian version, it comes with pre installed Gapps.
Buy Indian version
I have the indian version as im from India, and its an excellent phone.
Phones from china dont usally have google services installed so i recommend to get it from India, as all services are installed.
Unfortunately I was only able to order Chinese version? I had to go with gearbest... What sucks is they put the Global 845 version up for only 110$ more after I bought the phone. I tried to cancel order but it already shipped.

I'm in the US on T-Mobile (sim1) and att (sim2) no issues although I had to fix apn cuase the auto assigned on did have a couple of settings for my T-Mobile SIM. As for the Google play it's works just fine, just take note it's not certified device so some apks you'll have side load ie Netflix etc. etc.
Vivo account is pretty annoying and so is the default luncher. I switched mine to Nova and got a vivo an account made from the seller I got it from.
