I am currently on crDroid pie.
When I use speaker phone or headset during phone calls the other person get echo. This happen only in Speaker & Headset. Everything ok in ear piece.
Any way to fix it ????

Okay.. its the problem of crDroid. I reverted back to los 15.1 and now there is no problem.

Hello I have a strange problem on my nexus s.
When I make a call all work fine but when I make a new call the microphone and the speaker didn't working.
And then when I reboot the phone all fix and after a one call all back.
I try to do full wipe and install CM rom and still the problem is here.
Maybe someone can help me with that?

I have the same problem. Did you fix that? I used CM10.2, CM11, and 4.4 AOSP not official rom. But nothing helps.
Try booting into safe mode and see if what happens.

Same problem with me
I have the same Problem with my phone .
Reboot fixes everything but then after one or two calls i cant hear anything at all .
I tried flashing many roms even the official rom
Did u find any solution ??
even with safe mode i have the same issue
It is a OS issue since the mic is working fine in Skype or other similar apps.

In my case Nexus S (from AT&T - 9020A) KitKat (4.1.2) I had to overwrite radio driver with Radio KD1 version

I got g2x from my friends to use temporarily. I tried various earphones like skullcandy, Iphone etc but none of the mic seem to work. When i connected my ep 630 which does not have mic, the phone's default mic is also not working. This is very annoying as i could not attend a phone call with earphones plugged in and could not buy a compatible earphone with mic either.
Please help guyz !

i have this same problem with my phone sometime ago, my problem was caused by updated baseband when i flashed the rom so i went back to the stock rom which fixed the problem.

But AFAIK stock rom and baseband are two different. So did you flash the old baseband or flashed the stock rom ?
oh sr for the confusion , i flashed both of them back to original tmobile baseband and rom

i already gave away this phone last week so i don't remember exactly the # but this was the rom i flashed
When i flash stock firmware using flash-tool everything working fine but when i try to install Raven or Rayne ROM and same with JMP rom only my phone speaker is not working so everytime when i received any calls i've to put on speaker phone it's really annoying please help me out here

Try to change audio setting in engineering mode..
Engineering mode:
Open phone dialer type code *#*#3646633#*#* & Customize But use careful
if it now help there was a kernel prob try to flash newest kernel which support ur rom.
I tried all kernels but still problems comes cause after custom ROM installation speaker working fine but after day use speaker not working but when i flash via flashtool again speaker working fine but don't like stock at all even it giving problem on 4.1.2 why it is happening ??
OK so my gf n5 had issues on the ROM which was a lolipop ROM so we flashed stock image of 4.4.4 because it was the only one I knew would unpack correctly to flash... She has taken all the ota's and is now on 6.0.1 thru all the versions the issue is this: on regular call she cannot hear me, but if its placed with speakerphone or Bluetooth it works... Without nothing... I have even done a factory reset after all updates... No dice.... Any advice other than returning it(not possible) are welcome.... Thanks
I bought a used S6 edge plus over ebay and now when im calling someone they cant hear me 60% of the time and also loses it during call but microphone is working perfectly fine while recording voicenote,whatsapp calling,facebook calling,skype calling and video recording but not on a phone call.
My phone is a stock device not rooted and I tried to install TWRP on my phone yesterday but it failed and then I flashed the stock rom via Odin but facing the same problem!

Hello there, you have 2 options, software problem or mic problem, beyond that the mic work on apps and calls could be that the problem...
Try reinstalling software first and comment what happened !
