Gallery crashing since 38R OTA

What's up guys,
So i'm having an issue with my gallery crashing every time i reboot untill i go into CM's file manager go to system/app and install the .apk again.
Problem started after i updated to 38R and persisted to 44S.
Any idea how to fix this?

It's giving me a RuntimeException.

Of course people have read it. Perhaps nobody knows what's causing your problem or how to fix it. We can't just expect answers to every question we ask.

Ok. Managed to fix it. Here's how i did it:
Started by just going to /system/app and installing GalleryNext.apk to the /data partition.
After that when it was working again i went into Titanium Backup and to the Gallery app. (Which now shows "(updated)" next to it).
Long press that and select "Integrate update into ROM."
Reboot and the issue is resolved. :victory:

I have a problem with the phone's memory. I installed GTA San Andreas ... did not work, so I removed the application. File does not exist, but the memory is still full. The second problem is that I installed an application on Google Play ... At the end of the installation I received a message that there is no space. The application is not installed, and disappeared 300mb memory. Does anyone know what the problem is?
Ps I add storage settings screen.

Yes, I found this anomaly too. My solution is to try to install some file explorer (I used ES file explorer) and if you have root, go to the /data/legacy/0 directory and manually delete all the useless content. I don't know why but a lots of stuff is not recognised while browsing the /sdcard content. If you don't have root acces, well than try a factory reset it should work.

In Android/obb I don't have any GTA files... All is deleted :/
And i don't have /data/legecy/0

Than I don't have any other tips, you should do a factory reset than. I hope this one will work for you.

Cleaner apps don't work :/ Maybe someone else knows how to fix it.

Facebook messenger showing white screen - chats not loading

Since yesterday my Facebook messenger app stopped working.
The chats are not loaded anymore, showing a white screen. Previously it worked fine without any issues in the app.
Tried to re-install the app, cleared data and cache. Even cleared all cache and dalvik cache.
Running CyanogenOS 13 6.0.1 Latest official OPO build.
Anyone ever experienced this error? And know how to resolve it?

Nope just the normal one from the Google play store. Nothing was changed just stopped working suddenly.
I installed another theme for CMTE last week without issues. So i'm wondering maybe some server sided issue?

Mine works fine, so no idea, do you have some app that blocks hosts? Like adaway and similar?

Yes i use adaway indeed however didn't have issues before and the hosts aren't updated anymore in weeks so i don't suspect that this is causing the issue.
On my work phone it also works without issues sadly..

Just try disabling ad blocking and see if it works, I have issued with google apps not being able to connect to the internet. Can't tell that it's the same issue but it's worth a try.

Well i tried to disable AdAway blocking but that doesn't help either. I'm considering to perform a factory reset.. However its still a lot of work (restoring all data again..) so i don't want to but i think i don't have a choice.
Do you know if there is a way to preserve the creation dates on Android? For files and folders. Previously i zipped all my data but that took hours and resulted in a corrupt zip. I can't keep my data when performing a factory reset i suppose?

Instead of factory reset, can you try a dirtyflash of the ROM you are currently using? That will keep all your data.

Well i don't mind the app data but i do mind to keep my pictures and other data on my internal storage. If i do a dirty flash it will keep everything and just overwrites my system? Without any further issues?

Since a couple of weeks messenger started working again out of nowhere ? tried the lite version that broke couple days later also not being able to open existing chats from the app only opening notifications worked. However i have no clue what happened but it works again..

I am not able to copy files to obb folder.

Hello guys, I am using leeco 1s (x509) phone which is rooted(supersu 2.89), having twrp (2.8.7),Stock rom (19s).I am having a problem that I am not able to copy any files to Android\obb folder.Please help me guys.

Did you used dual boot patcher in the past or using it now? That creates the problem!.. do one thing.. if u have secondary rom wipe it..(if not then follow next steps).. go to twrp.. then go to /sdcard/android/ and delete obb folder and then go to /data/media/obb and delete it.. and then wipe cache partition.. then reboot! Check if problem is solved or not....
If not.. then again do the same things but this time wipe dalvik too.. hope it'll solve the issue.

Isn't there any way I can use DBP without having that problem again?

Dont know.. i faced this issue with dbp.. so i stopped using it.. i faced this issue with latest version.. cant say anything about older version (since i cant remember if i have games which have obb at that time.. ). You can give it a go!

In which slot you installed secondary rom? Mine was on data slot.
I think this is the problem but I am not sure and I am new to flashing.

I think thats the problem as another way to access obb folder is data\media\obb

Whatsapp: Local backup not working (bypass) + (many restore attempts) verification through call frozen -1 second

I'm having trouble restoring my chat history backup (there's no Google Drive backup) and it doesn't find my local backup. Plus, I'm on hold, because I've uninstalled and installed so many times, that the call option says I've tried the code wrongfully so many times (which I didn't) that I've should wait -1 second (which never happens). I NEED to get evidence for custody of my son and I NEED it so bad, MY TIME IS RUNNING OUT, CAN'T WAIT any longer. Please, help me!

In my case.. It is not even detecting the local storage and always failing the drive backup.. What to do??

Hallo, I have the same problem with 2.21.21.17 version. So I installed older version. 2.21.8.x can't be installed, so I tried with 2.21.9.x and 2.21.10.x. Both of them founded a local backup, but strange dated 01/01/70 0k. Where did il search the file, is there a way to force a path? I also tried to chenge the name of older backup but same result. How can I verify the integrity of my files? Anyone else hasa similar problem? Thanks
