About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices, Cardinal is being built with Uber toolchain, with most of uber optimizations, with full Substratum Support and with minimal customization, the main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. Nice work. Anyway the ROM isn't ready for release yet and it needs to be completed. Would advise you to shut down the thread for a week by then we will be done with the sources. Then you can re-open the thread and maybe apply for official status as well ?

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system we ported some changes from Cyanogenmod/LineageOS and CodeAurora repos.

You can enable softkeys by adding a line in build.prop
And that line is

This is a great DevTeam. Their Galaxy S4 roms were a bliss! Recommended, happy to see you guys here. Owning a redmi 4a, but the development of note 4 is outstanding, maybe buying one later..

Headphone bug exists? Like it connects and disconnects within sec in whatsapp video calls. Almost all ROM has this as far as I've tried

Does goodix reset after reboot?

How bb and charging speed?! Any lag when playing games?!

I have issue with camera. It takes seconds to open. GCam even worst. It shows blank screen, and suddenly lockscreen. Second time you open it will open normally.
Use the same GCam on PE-9.0 but no issue there.

Bug I face
1) Sim selection is required after every restart.
2) Charging speed is very slow.
3)System is slow.
4) ViLTE not working.
5) Lost calls both incoming and outgoing

Is there any customisation on launcher? Or its just reguler stock quickstep like launcher?

If your phone temp too hot, thermal will slow down battery charge. If you want to incresae charging speed, I suggest you to edit thermal-engine.conf(do not delete).

Sorry guys haven't updated yet. Will do it soon. Faced some hardware problems with my lapi so wasn't able to work.
