[Q] LG H815 motherboard - AT&T LG G4

Hi, does anyone know, if I put H815 motherboard in H811, will it work? Will it became H815?
Are all radio chips and stuff on motherboard?

g3 and g4 are different in terms of their hardware parts... (correct me if im wrong masters). i think the only way to have a g4 device is to replace the main board chipset of your g3 device which is almost the same as getting another G4 wizard unit.

wifi & BT chip

Hi,
Is there by any chance a possibility of replacing wifi/BT chip on desire s? Extracting it from old desire s mobo? A tech is offering to fix the chip by heating it or replace if he cant fix it. I'm just not sure if its possible.
Does anyone knows?
Thanks,

[Q] replace asus tf300tg motherboard with tf300t motherboard?

does that work?

If they have the same form factor, you should be able to. I haven't tested it though.

thanks for your answer !
and has it the same form factor ?
maybe someone know it ?
i also sent my tablet to RMA from Asus , but they made me an offer for 540 Swiss Franc to replace the Motherboard ( app. 600 dollar ).
Sorry it took me so long to reply. I can't find an image of a TF300TG motherboard, but since it's bricked anyway, I suggest you buy one, see if it fits, and if not, return it.

The mini does support 5GHz WiFi!

Hi!
I´ve flashed the lineage OS (thanks tdm). From now on i can use 5GHz wifi networks.
ZTE told us, that the mini doesn´t support them.
Here is the proof:
Why did ZTE build in 5GHz hardware, but make it unusable?
My guess is that the WiFi chipset manufacturer sells the same chipset with different capabilities. Many hardware manufacturers do this since for them is cheaper to produce the same hardware and disable extra features via software instead of removing the actual hardware. ZTE probably asked for 2GHz only to cut the price of the mini.

If that's the case, it would be great if 5Ghz could be enabled without having to root/custom ROM.

This is not possible, because you have to edit the kernel, to load driver for the WiFi Hardware.

Actually, it looks like it's just a configuration file, so maybe it could done in the stock firmware by rooting the device:
