I'm in desperate need of help! ATT H810 - AT&T LG G4

My girlfriend has a a lgh810 on mm 6.0, clicking on software update says "no update found". You can't delete apps because the phone crashes and restarts and gets really hot, and the app is still installed after it boots. The software version is H81021y. I can provide more info if necessary.

[Q][XOOM 2] Unlocked device, how to get ICS update

I got my Xoom 2 unlocked from an electronics store rather than a carrier, so I'm not sure where I need to get the ICS update from. Whenever I check for system updates it just says "checking for available updates, please wait" indefinitely. It doesn't say there isn't an update but won't find one either.
System version
0.268.4.MZ616.Telstra.en.AU
Firmware
GAS_ASIA_TABLET1PASTUAUTEL_P021
The bootloader is still locked but I did root it, would that be the problem?

[Q] OTA Update not coming up for SM-N915G from KitKat to Lollipop... Help?

Facing an odd issue, it appears in Kies and says the update to lollipop is available for the device (SM-N915G, XSA, Australia) the phone is unlocked, so it's not through a carrier and it was brought outright, when plugged into kies it says there's an update available, click update, nothing happens at all after proceeding with "Next" "Update" etc.
The update doesn't appear in Settings > About device > System update. What can I do?
(PS. Not a rooted device, not modded, no TWRP/CWM, not unlocked bootloader or anything, keeping 100% stock please.)

Alternatives to Complete UnRoot to Get AT&T OS OTA Update

I check for software updates... sure enough... there is one... I download it... phone begins to install updates, then reboots. Upon reboot, I get an error message, "This device is suspected in rooting. Software update is not available for rooted device."
I've read through the unrooting thread... http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-lg-g3/general/unroot-return-to-factory-stock-att-lg-g3-t2820827 ... and I'll do this if I have to... and... are there alternatives to get the latest Android version installed?
And I supposed I should ask... why is AT&T denying me an update, potentially exposing me to malware, etc.
TIA

SM-N915A AT&T 6.0 Update Fear! Please help!

Hey guys,
I have the SAMSUNG-SM-N915A model number and the stock version Build number LMY47X.N915AUCS2C017 Baseband version on my phone. It works like a charm after spending days trying other stock build version I found online that had so many problems restarting the phone over and over. AT&T is trying to force a software update to 6.0 on my phone which simply wont work as the regular software update bricks my phone for some reason. Is there a setting I'm missing the just tells the phone not to accept any software updates from AT&T? I'm almost positive this update will screw weeks of tinkering and I finally got it working with 5.1.1. I want it to stay this way. Any ideas?
Thanks

Go to settings/security.
You'll find the update settings in there IIRC.
closest thing I see too that is "security policy updates option which is already check off for automatic updates. It seems to be the Device management that's always trying to download the software update and force update. Is this a hidden stock application?

Sorry I took so long getting back.
It's been a while since my 5.1.1 days.
Check in the section that says about device.
You should find your updates on/off listed in there.
You might want to turn off the cloud sync'ing settings as well.

Honor 8 sort of half rooted?

Hello, first of all i want to say that i don't understand a lot of those thing, i'll just try to explain myself as best as i can but if you don't understand something just ask and i'll rephrase it somehow.
I have an EU FRD-L09. When i bought it i tried to root it because i couldnt mute the sound of the whatsapp camera. I did some things (it was a long time ago, i don't remember precisely what) and the phone was in a state where superSU told me that there was no root, but at the boot i always got the message "your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted etc.. ". I was tired so i left it like this until now, the only thing that mattered is that i could use the phone. Now, i want to update from FRD-L09C432B380 to FRD-L09C432B389 (and then hopefully to android 8) but i just can't. When i try to update it, either from the phone or from hisuite it reboots and get stuck in the "your device has been unlocked" state with "your device is booting now..." forever. The only thing i can do is to go in erecovery and reboot. I also tried to restore from erecovery but it says that "Getting package info failed". Restoring from the settings does the same as trying to update. Somebody know what can i do?
I Don't think you ever rooted the phone. From what you said, you only unlocked the bootloader (phone cannot be trusted message on boot). Have you tried dload method to get the system to stock and then updating through HiSuite? (AFAIK This will wipe system and data)
I read about it and i will try it. Should i flash the rollback package from android 7.0 to 6.0 or directly the 6.0 firmware? Right now i am on emui 5.0 android 7.0.
P.S. so i can't update the phone in any way with the bootloader unlocked?
