Was the phone purchased used? If so, it may have not been completely paid for and the loaning company will block the IMEI. If that's the case, there are companies that will write a valid IMEI to the hardware. It didn't used to be legal but at least here in the states it now is.

i have the same problem when i watched youtube and all of a sudden i got the same message, trying to restore it from sd card with rom i downloaded from asus site, it didn't work, even with adb sideload didn't help either...
does anybody know how to help? please, thanks in advance!!!

hope you did not buy it from ebay
seller was claiming he did not know tech but was selling plenty of tech items and could get it to recovery and bootloader but would not try out steps of flashing rom (or state results)-reckoned he would have if he could as he could have sold for a better price-led me to suspect something more was wrong with it.

HELP ! Problems with LG G4 H810

Hello guys, i have updated my LG G4 recently via OTA from 5.1 to 6.0 and encountered many issues after updating.
* Lock Screen won't set up
* Some apps downloaded from Playstore make the phone crashes when i want to uninstall them
* The phone is getting Hot after a few time use
* Security Settings is not working & the Setting App crashes when i chose Security Settings
* Random Screen Turn on
* Sometimes it shows an empty Menu
* Restart when trying to uninstall an app
i already installed all patches from Software Updates menu and still have the same problem.
i tried to reset my phone to factory settings with the both ways (in settings & from recovery menu) and still have the same problems
i already posted in LG and ATT forums and no answers unfortunately
i don't know if there is a way to get back the old version or to reinstall the firmware again i'm currently use a Mac Os
Please if you could help me, i will really appreciate that.

That’s hardware failure and or you have a wrong model phone.
Did you buy the phone directly from AT&T brand new? If so warranty the phone as it’s a hardware issue.
If you bought the phone used/refurbished it is possible that’s not an AT&T model and the update broke the software. (Which there’s no way around other than a board replacement)

Checked by imei and its confirmed a H810 device from att
I called the seller about this prob he said "try to flash rom if not please send it to us to replace with another one"
The second choice isnt good for me you know much tax and time it will take 40 days to get another one

I think you should ask the seller for a replacement, because H810 has bootloader locked so no flashing, I guess.

I'm facing the similar issues (can't uninstall apps, no lock screen security) with H810 (software version H81021y).
P.S. I'm not using an AT&T sim.
Any help would be highly welcome.

That's not a viable option for me. SteadfasterX's UsU is a potential option but can't try that as of yet as I have H81021y installed which prorbably has ARB 3.

Well it’s the only real fix for it. That issue occurs when either there’s an hardware failure, or wrong model firmware has been flashed on a refurbished model being sold as a wrong model.
If there’s antirollback (which there probably is) there’s no way around that

[REQUEST] Nokia 7 TA-1041 Official Firmware

My partner from Chinese 7to forum had made TWRP adaption for Nokia 5, 6 and 8. Now it's time to find out how to install custom recovery and root Nokia 7.
To achieve that, I need the official firmware of Nokia 7 TA-1041.
That's it. It will benefit a lot for both XDA and Chinese Android communities.
Current version is 00CN_0_64C I think.

UPDATE: I got the Nokia 7 firmware, filename is C1N-0430-0-00CN-B05.rar. But I won't release it until @blackpanther0582 or @Quixote78 got Nokia 2 and 7 firmware.

I got this firmware from local Nokia Service center where I sent a bricked Nokia 6 to them.
To protect the employee who gave me the firmware, I won't release it immediately.

That's sweet of you. I've just got my Nokia 7 and I might just brick it while playing with it. So, can I at least stay assured that if something wrong happens, you'll privately provide me with the firmware? ?

Phone won't boot
Some help would be fantastic and greatly appreciated. I received the phone brand new just yesterday and have turned it on to set it up but it will not go past the "Powered by Android" screen. I have tried so many times to enter reset menu to factory restore it but it is not possible. I think my only option left is to somehow flash the phone with the original firmware but as I've never used a newer Nokia before, I am unsure of that too. I contacted Nokia online support who refuse to help me because the phone is exclusive to China and I am based in Australia. I feel like I have been scammed with a brand new phone that I can not use.

The same problem with "Powered by Android", only I'm from Belarus. Waiting for an answer from support.

Really would like to be able to flash a clean rom.

I sent my phone back and going to claim a refund. I really want the phone because it has the specs that I want, the size that I want, the build quality that I want, and the look that I want. But it seems there is a software issue that means it doesn't function correctly out of China.

I have the same problem as you, the phone hangs on download mode after I reboot or power down consecutively 5 to 6 times after flashing the rom.
I cannot force flash the ROM, with OST LA, it hangs on "hwcfg" (C1N-0-0430-hwcfg.img) after 117 seconds of attempting to flash.
Google Play Store has been flashed in the original firmware, it is buggy as it doesnt update any application.
I think google applications are causing the phone to hang out and to bug.
I cannot seem to find a clean rom for this phone!

My biggest problem is updating/installing apps, as you said. I'm getting error 404 and no solutions from webs fix it. A funny related issue is that the phone is not showing up in the web version of Google Play (when you do a remote install). At least I think these issues are related.
Did you experience anything similar?

Yes I have experienced the same thing.
I have asked the reseller on Aliexpress for the original firmware.
I am waiting for his answer ...
What concerns me , I cannot find ANY ROM available for this Nokia 7 and the bootloader is locked and cannot be unlocked on fastboot.
I hope one day a developer on xda could give us a clean ROM+GAPPS, with a TWRP recovery.

Support for the firmware is not responding. The theme on community.phones.nokia.com/support/discussions constantly removes.

Any update?

Auto Rotation not working

Hello,
my p20 is already on 8.1.0 and was working well since I got it.
Now, the function for auto rotation is not doing it's work. Yes, it did work well before.
I was wondering, if anyone has the same problem and if there is a solution for it?
I tried to turn off ne knuckle features. It wasn't the solution.

No, thought there could be another solution. But it doesn't seem so..

I have the same issue on P20 lite, after the update the sensors doesn't work anymore.
I have a locked bootloader and tryng to roolback with a previose version, with dload metod, but non easy to find the correct verson due a huge firmaware for P20
I contact even the customer support and only thing that said to me: "Please try with a reset or use you warranty to change it" (for me it's the second phone with the same problem)

At begin p7p work. Calls was possible.
I seen an update in setting.
After this update and reboot, phone make 7 minutes to be connect on gsm network
Not 4g but Edge.....
Now, my phone is often in Edge /no network/4g
It's impossible to make a call.
I am in 4g.i try to make a call. Instantly, lost 4g go to Edge or no network.
No sound, tonality...
I have try another provider OK
I continue to use cdiscount sim in my Old phone OK.
Another guys have no trouble with p7p and cdiscount...
I have tried to network reset.. Not work.
I have try make full factory reset... Not work.
I am so desapointed....
I suspect update... But not sure.
What can i do ? Flash again first stock rom ?

Have you tried setting a different apn? Also could be a faulty Sim card tbh.

I have same issue since latest carrier services update. Can barely make a call since yesterday.

Sounds like the update disabled VoLTE. Check *#*#4636#*#* Phone Information section and look to see if VoLTE provisioned is toggle to the left (off). If so, it sounds like a carrier profile update broke it. You may have to go back to old firmware.

On all Google Pixels, you can downgrade to any firmware you like as long as you accept that you'll have to wipe the phone. The only exception to this rule was when the Pixel 6 Pro was updated to Android 13 Stable since the old firmware's bootloader had a big exploit.

I have the same problems and more in Romania, on Vodafone. I think the modem is completely broken.
You shouldn't have to downgrade or root to fix any kind of problem. How Google can release crap like this is beyond my understanding.

I had the exact same problem, I asked RMA because it was impossible to call someone.first they refuse saying to me that an update will solve the problem but I insist and now with the other phone no more problem.i think there is a batch with broken modem

So my conclusion.
For moment only rom version a2 works.
When i upgrade to the last (31), call bug....
So i need to stay in first version. I have block automatic update.
Another person same provider, works with 31 rom version..
I dont know why.
