Installing google playstore in lyf flame 6

I have been searching a method to install playstore in my LYF Flame 6. I really love this phone and the only one demerit I found was the absence of Google play services hence we can't use playstore or any google related products such as Gmail, youtube, map and many more google apps. Finally, I had found a solution to install Google playstore in flame 6. I'll explain it step by step. Currently, my phone's OS version is 5.1 so I'm not sure about 5.1.1.
Please download the zip file
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/65930505/playstore.zip
*included in every file required for the process is in the zip file.
*Your firmware version should be "LYF_LS-4005_06_08" otherwise it won't work.
1. Install kingroot to gain root access.
2. Replace kingroot with SuperSu. (please google how to replace kingroot with supersu)
3. Install FlahFire. hence, currently there is no custom recovery for flame 6, we have to use FlahFire to flash Gapps.
4. Open FlashFire grand root access, now add the provided playstore_flash.zip file. Remember I had tried many Gapps(pico) but every time the installation get aborted due to insufficient system storage space, so please use provided Gapp zip file.
Now you should see Google playstore is installed along with google play services. Besides this, I had provided the additional file called Google contact sync, install it if you want to sync your google contacts.

I tried "SuperSU Me" to replace KingRoot with Super SU. But didn't worked. Which method did you used ?
Also do you have Flame 6 LS-4005 Firmware?

Thank you. I have installed and hope it will run smoothly. By the way, I want to share my story about problem with google play. Before this, I often download apk files to install apps indirectly. Sometimes, I am angry because it takes time and some apps are not available. Anyway, I have apk files for next installing in case google play has problem again.

If you used PHH to root, open the zip, open config.txt in a text editor, change "verity" to "noverity". Save and flash again.
You might need to flash back your stock boot image before flashing.
Edit: That link you posted there is full of misinformation.
Keeping system RO is best. It's not read-only/read-write that's causing it to roll back hosts.
I did that, but the flash fails with error 1.
I can't even install the original superuser-r310-beta.zip

Did you restore your stock boot image first?
Post your full build if you don't have it.

Solved, thank you =)
One more question: Will I still get OTA updates or will I have to apply them manually?

If you don't modify anything in /system, /product or /vendor you should still get OTA.
For example: installing Busybox modifies /system. Viper4Android modifies /vendor and /system.
If you need Busybox you should consider switching to Magiskv12. Its busybox is systemless (Doesn't modify anything).
And with Magisk you can use Android Pay and PokemonGO (and other apps that use SafetyNet).
MagiskHide is a little buggy on Mate 9, and other Huawei devices that use Nougat. If you enable it, fingerprint and pin will break after you reboot. If you just enable, run Android Pay, and disable after you will be fine.

Has anyone figured out how to force Android 10 to R/W yet?

Android 10 has this messed up file system that does not allow any writing of the system files. While I have root neither Root Explorer or any other third party apk can force it over. I also cannot install any application with Root Explorer. What's the good of root if we can't actually mod our own system files?
Also, since debloating everything and removing google everything, I can't use instacart anymore. It says I need Google Play Services. This NEVER was an issue on my Moto G7 Power.
At the very least is there a tool where I can unpack Super.Sparsechunk files and then repack them so I can flash them as stock via fastboot. All I want to do is delete the stock ringtones on this phone and replace them with my own .ogg files (as I've done on every Moto I've ever had). Thanks.
You have to root it before using R/W
One Ace is easy to root though
Unlock bootloader and patch boot.img with Magisk app, and flash it

I did all that. It still will not go to R/W. This seems to be an Android 10 issue.
Here you go my friend. Enjoy!

Your method as of now is not working.
It's working fine on my Xiaomi (which is A slot only device) but you are right. The current version is not as universal yet as I'd like it to be. There seems to be an lpmake error at the very end of the script for those with A/B slot device.
Don't worry I am working very hard on identifying and fixing the error.
Soon your system shall be RW!

[Install system apps on custom rom]

Hey guys,So um i am using redmi note 10 miui 12.5.3 global and i pulled the stock miui camera and gallery apk using adb pull commands. I plan to install pixel experience custom rom. How would i install these in that rom?
Would require this custom ROM gets rooted, phone's bootloader gets permanently unlocked, phone's Android's AVB permanently gets disabled, as also phone's Android's SELinux permanently gets disabled.
can i find links for tutorial on how to do this?
and even if I managed to do all these, what do i do after that? would the apk install just like that?

If the APKs are of type
system-app
then you've to mount device's /system partition
user-app
then you've to mount device's /data partition
as RW before installing the APKs.
i've done the three steps. i didnt understand the last thing. How do i install the apks? do i need a seperate installer or a custom recovery? could you please explain and the apks are of system-app
You simply install them by means of ADB
Code:
adb devices
adb install <LOCATION-OF-APK-FILE-ON-PC-HERE>

How to get custom ROM on WSA

Hi, i was trying around with WSA, but i encountered a problem - that is, i cannot do a lot of things. To fix my problem, i would probanly have to have a custom rom. Is there any way to get it?

The file is in the WSA install location, along with other image files
also, i didnt get a custom rom on it, only gapps, by following a guide i found
GitHub - WSA-Community/WSAGAScript: Scripts to install Google Apps into a WSA image. Plus optional root

Now with this i also do no longer need the custom rom. It has root and thats all i need
