see if you have enough space in C drive and plug the usb cord directly into motherboard from behind the case.if these methods didn't work try redownloading the ftf

[Q] Tipo recovery fith flashtool - confusion!

Hi,
recently i tried to install freexperia on my (SINGLE SIM) Tipo. It took me a few hours, and I had to use flashtool to recover my phone at one point. All went swimmingly and I managed to get FreeXperia rom on my phone. After using freexperia rom for 48 hours I am frustrated with bugs other aspects of the ROM and so I now wish to revert to stock on my phone. The issue I am encountering is that FlashTool doesnt flash my stock rom to my phone anymore. Perhaps something to do with the bootloader maybe? It starts flashing but freezes at 0% and my phone's green LED turns off and it wont go any further.
I am not a noob when it comes to these things but I haven't encountered this issue before so would be glad of any help someone can give me with regards to getting stock back on my little phone?

You aren't getting header verification error, but still try replacing the loader.sin file with the file found attached to 1st post in the ftf thread.
Also in the rom if you're able to find options mtp and msc, toggle it to whatever its not, (but I think msc works) .
Also its possible the ftf file you have is broken so redownload it if none of above work.
Nothing to do with bootloader.

Go to settings>xperia> connectivity>usb mode.
There u can find mtp/msc mode.
Also enable usb debugging in ur device and connect to ur pc and check if flashtool(latest version) recognizes the device.
Then flash ur ftf.

Xperia J Flash problem

First of all, if there's other threads that described my issue, forgive me because I probably didn't use the proper term.
Anyway, I'm trying to get http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...y-bean-11-2-0-31-11-2-0-21-t2333078?nocache=1 to work, but my phone simply refuse to stay flashing. It detects the phone, execute the flash, and then nothing.

No error, no nothing. It just stops there. The green light on the phone lights up when I first connect it in flash mode, but it goes off when it flashtool starts flashing, thus ending everything there. Anybody know what's wrong and how to fix it? I've tried factory reset, changing usb ports and other menial troubleshooting, but at 4:43 A.M. I'm not sure how much more of troubleshooting I can do.
*Update*
If I were to unplug after the led died off, and plug it again (without pressing any buttons down), it automatically connected into flash mode instead of recharging.
First, is your bootloader locked? I ask this so i can sure your bootloader is locked.
Second, if you flash anything using flashtool, always in the same result? :fingers-crossed:
I had a similar problem.
All I had to do was to remove the micro SD card while flashing.
Once you're done with flashing you can insert it again.

Keep trying. Happens some times. After 2 or 3 tries, if it still didn't work, use other usb cable and other usb port.
install the drivers and dont use the newest version of Flashtool, use 0.18.6
Drivers are installed (my moded rom and root) i try another cable / port USB soon.
Thx for tips guys.
I am not sure u have drivers instaled--did u resolve driver signature?
I dont have a time for another try. Maybe tommorow, after all ill reply.

[Completed] Cont. Xperia C4 (5306) won't turn on after system upgrade

Hello,
This is a continuation of post http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/xperia-c4-5306-wont-upgrade-t3301096?nocache=1 To recap, about two weeks ago I got a OTA update message, left the phone updating which resulted in a complete unresponsive device, that is a black screen, a red light when charging. The only thing that is allowing me is to go into flashmode, which I've been using to try to repair.
The last thing I've tried was to use Flashtool (v. 0.9.18.6) which gave the the following error.
Code:
02/046/2016 17:46:26 - INFO - Selected Bundle for Sony Xperia C4 (E5306). FW release : 27.1.A.1.106. Customization : US-Generic-0

02/054/2016 17:54:36 - ERROR - S1 Header checksum Error
02/054/2016 17:54:36 - ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted
This happened with 7.1.A.0.106 R3A and 27.2.A.105 R5A firmwares.
As I mentioned in the other thread, with flashtool v. 0.9.19.10 the only error I received was about a missing flashboot-delivery otherwise the flashing process continued.
Another thing that I've noticed is that when I plug the phone without going into flashmode, windows (8.1 or 10) doesn't recognize it. I keep hearing the sound of a device plugged and unplugged. This makes me think that it may be the cause why I get an error when using Sony PCC. Oh, also I get no message when using adb as suggested in http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-c5-ultra/development/bootloader-unlocked-custom-recovery-t3285521
I've read elsewhere about a way to repair a bricked phone by finding a test point but I found no tutorials for my phone.
Any ideas will be welcomed

Hi and welcome to XDA.
There's no dedicated forum for your device here in XDA. I found a discussion thread about the flashtool here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...roxydes-flashtool-features-xperia-c4-t3292650 You can try asking there or in General discussion Questions and Answers
Good luck
