AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.

Thanks so much for doing this. I have just updated my phone with this. I was initially going to go with Lineage until I realised that the Aquaris is no longer officially supported (and that I never downloaded a build in the past).
I will try and build myself at some point in the future, but I'm not sure any of my computers are up to building anything newer than Lollipop.
maybe not then... the two versions there: aokp_vegetalte_nougat_nightly_2018-09-14_ota.zip and aokp_vegetalte_nougat_nightly_2018-09-07_ota.zip, both do not have working mobile data.
They say the mobile data is working in the status, but data usage is zero and all apps cannot access any data while not on wi-fi.
I switched to AEX AOSP, which does have working mobile data, but now the phone doesn't work! Anything requiring microphone (sound recorder, Skype apps) don't work either. :laugh:
@Lordinal82 is this ROM compiled from source? Is the kernel 3.4.67?
