[Q] CWM Backup of clean H06-L04 EMUI 2.3 EU Version?

Hey guys!
I flashed the L01 firmware on my L04, just 2 days before the beta was leaked, but with the russian ROM I can't update. Would someone be so kind to provide and upload me a CWM Backup of the EU L04 ROM? With that, I can flash over the modem etc. Also, it would help others , who are stuck now on L01/L04 Version (it behaves like it's both).

anyone?? i would also love get a dump from a clean H60-L04 EU-Version
I'm bumping this to clarify:
Everybody who installed L01 on their devices can't go back to L04 , if no one provides a clean L04 CWM for them, so we can overwrite all partitions. Some can't be overwritten with fastboot ("command not allowed").

Nope, it doesn't work. Baseband gets stuck with L01. Tried many times.
Can somebody test it with the images on hihonor.com?
If they work , we can update again normally to EMUI 3.0, if it gets released finally.
Woooot, when did they put this on the website ? You're my god, I hope it'll work ! I'm downloading will post result this wednesday after my finals @LordYuuki

Just saw it yesterday, but I need my phone till i write my finals, too. Good luck on yours, my friend! I hope these are the official EU-Versions of the L04! @thrpod
The EU ROM on http://www.hihonor.com/pages/support#?view=downloads is exactly the same as the "russian" ROM (same size, md5sum). So it's safe to say that there is no such thing as a Russian ROM and there is just one ROM for all L04 devices.

Mt7-tl10 chnc00 -> mt7-tl10 c00 ???

Hello mt7 users, have just got MT7-TL10 in my hands, which is chinese version (MT7-TL10 dual sim 3gb 64gb customised medallion edition of unicom).
Current ROM is: MT7-TL10V100R001CHNC00B133
Due to presently been in Italy then Greece - and is working fine under 4G FDD LTE-, I'm looking for a european rom, free of chinese applications, and gapps preinstalled.
Thanks in advance.
your software version is determined by last 4 characters, in your case its B133. did you try to update through local update by forcing some newer european kitkat version?

Appreciated your last ГАСООП, however I think this is the latest KK update (B133) even in Europe, isn't it?
Understand Mt7-tl10 chnc00 is the chinese based rom while mt7-tl10 c00 is the international one.
Could you kindly please provide a link for EU roms ?
Thanks

Flashing just "system.img" is enough for having the international version.
Use a lollipop compatible recovery like twrp 2870 if you are already on lollipop!

You flashed system.img and have no baseband? Baseband data is located in modem.img as far as i know. Following the guide shouldn't affect your baseband!

I'm not sure what could be happening in your case but I have successfully flashed the International img's over the Chinese img's more than 10 times (with 0 failure) 125 over 132 or 324 over 351. In these cases I successfully flashed: boot.img, cache.img, system.img, data.img, recovery.img but in the more recent cases I just flashed system.img and everything worked! I'm on Lollipop 324 TL-10.
PS: every 4.4.2. on 4.4.2. or 5.1.1. on 5.1.1. should work.

Tried that already with the "userdata.img" for both the B324 Inter and B351 chnc and ended up with the same result!
You should know that this time i flashed the 5 images from B324 over B351 (boot, recovery, cache, userdata and system), should i just flashed the system?

Whatever i try, phone stays on NRD90M test-keys

I hope someone is merciful enough to take me out of my misery. I have screwed up often enough but this phone is driving me nuts.
So far i have managed to install TWRP on it and this part works fine. After that i have downloaded the three files to update the ROM (update.zip, update_full_NXT-L09_hw_eu.zip and update_full_hw_spcseas.zip) I boot into TWRP and try to do a "format data" which ends in an error. I flash then the three files one after the other, do a factory reset and wipe dalvik cache and reboot then. Surprise, surprise the system is still how it was left before boot into recovery. Nothing has been wiped/deleted all the data is there and the same ROM version. I thought to give a custom ROM a shot and downloaded TM8_B386_SIGNED booted into TWRP and flashed it but with this the phone does not even boot up. Has anyone got any idea what to try? The three button method with dload folder didn't work either, stops at 5% with an error.
Phone is a L09 version, currently installed is the NRD90M Rom with android 7 and EMUI 5. Phone is the 3GB/32GB version and location is Australia.
TIA
you can rollback since you are on test-keys! just use the rollback method from huawei itself

I can't really find it anywhere at the moment for the L09 version. Is there any way to check which version of firmware exactly i need? When i go to firmware finder there are hundreds of L09xxx versions and i have no idea which one to take
OK, i have found the rollback package and copied it into the dload folder. The three button recovery works to and the update starts and finishes with a success message. When the phone boots up it still says build NRD90M.
Anyone any ideas?
mate. u need to rollback and then make a new install with the right update.zip! If it says NRD90M you have the wrong update zip or you forget to flash the second.zip ^^

That's the problem, i have no idea. All i know it was EMUI 4 and Android 6
I have downloaded seperate files cust.img, system.img, usserdata.img and cache.img
When i try to flash them in fastboot cache and userdate work fine. Cust image and system.img show errors as shown below. Any ideas?
C:\fastboot>fastboot flash cust cust.img
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes
sending 'cust' (14977 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.320s]
writing 'cust'...
FAILED (remote: sparse flash write failure)
finished. total time: 0.346s
C:\fastboot>fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img
error: cannot load 'SYSTEM.img'
C:\fastboot>
thats not how rollback works. you make the rollback and then you install the new rom with the huawei update methode! stock recovery! "update.zip" in the folder etc.
Thanks to everyone who has helped. I have finally got it to work with the rollback method and now would like to update it to a Nougat ROM. Could someone please be so kind and tell me which one exactly i need?
The current info as shown on the phone is Build number NXT-C900B193 EMUI 4.0
TIA

Hi Mate
I too now have the same issue as you !
I have a Australian Huawei Mate 8 NXT-L09 and tried Firmware update to Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0 and now phone stays on NRD90M test-keys.
I have no Bluetooth , Alarm , apps crashing and missing apps.
Before upgrading to Android 7 EMUI 5.0 using FF app my firmware was the official Huawei NXT-L09C636B191 firmware (android 6.0 EMUI 4.0)
Please tell me where I can find the rollback package for NXT-L09 for Australian Mate 8 model? Or how I can fix this issue.
Thanks
Gav

Debranding/Rebranding Honor 8X to Indian or EU version

Credit-
@oslo83 for the big help.
@OldDroid for EMUI Flasher tool.
@ante0 his tricks worked when I ended up with incorrect build number
WARNING-
Do not try to debrand from cn/all to other variant as that may lead to FRP lock status.
Do not reboot after flashing the oeminfo or it may brick the phone.
i.e. once oeminfo is edited, phone may brick :
- if device is rebooted with its original region stock firmware
- if wrong region firmware is selected in EMUI FLASHER
- if downgrading
- if flashing wrong packages
Prerequisites-
Unlocked and Rooted Honor 8X (root from here)
Backup of your data via Hisuite or TB backup or other tools.
Files for the new model (JSN-L21/L42 variant)
Free Storage around 8 GB space.
Downloads-
EMUI Flasher from here or here
OEMINFO binary from here
For JSN-L42 Indian version
Main update zip here
Data zip here
(Optional) Public Zip here
For JSN-L21 EU version
Main zip here
Data zip here
(Optional) Public zip from here
Procedure-
Root your phone using this guide
Install EMUI flasher downloaded but do not run it. (just click on done once installed)
Copy the firmware to internal memory
copy oeminfo binary to internal memory
on PC, go to adb folder, shift+right click, open command prompt here and type -
Code:
adb shell
su (please grant root on your phone at this step)
mkdir /data/local/tmp
mv /sdcard/oeminfo /data/local/tmp
cd /data/local/tmp
chmod +x oeminfo
./oeminfo JSN-L21 C432 hw/eu (if you want to debrand to EU version)
./oeminfo JSN-L42 C675 hw/in (if you want to debrand to Indian version)
Run the EMUI flasher app you installed earlier, give root persmission.
It will prompt for download of a file around 26 MB (no-check recovery), install it.
Select the respective firmwares from you internal memory based on the region you want to debrand/rebrand to (Update.zip, update_full_JSN-L21_hw_eu.zip and update_data_full_public.zip or update.zip, update_full_JSN-L42_hw_in.zip and update_data_full_public.zip
Click on the arrow or download symbol and EMUI flasher will start flashing the firmwares. (may take 10 minutes)
It may take few minutes to complete the update procedure in recovery, device will reboot automatically and will perform the factory reset.
once booted, your phone should be on the new region.
Thanks, i will try
