Recover Samsung autobackup after installation and cyanogenmod - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone
I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 8010.
I installed Teamwin recovery tool and used it to install cyanogenmod 10.1. Since Netflix doesn't work on custom ROMs (really annyoing!) I would like to recover a previous autobackup which I created with the original Samsung Android environment. Teamwin does not recognise the original autobackup. Kies doesn't recognise my tablet anymore after Cyanogenmod. And I cannot find the original Samsung Sandwich environment as a download to make a fresh start on Icecream Sandwich. I don't like KitKat at all, the layout is not convenient and it slows the tablet down.
Does someone know whether I can recover my original backup somehow?
Thanks

Hey Im new and have a few questions

Hey Im Sixthg but call me six. I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (GT-p3113) and flashed my recovery with CWM 6.0.3.7. I have a stock gaming rom and my Original rom backed up. Would it be possible for someone to Customize my rom and change the User Interface? If so, are you willing to do it for free?
Also I would like to keep my downloaded apps when I install custom roms....how would i do that?

Hey there,
I,m new too but i'm not devs here, i'm a noob user so probably i'm not going to help much. If I'm explaining something that you are already know, I apologise.
Yet from my little experience, i did flash the latest recovery CWM 6.0.5.1 (i suggest you try it to flash the latest version available too) and using CM 12 build 20140215 unofficial lollipop version on my P3100. All of them you can found on thread by Android-Andi. Just make sure you download and flash the correct version for your P3113 / probably same as P3110 (*I use P3100).
I can't paste his link of work as its on his signature. BUT, you can found it on "Galaxy Tab 2 7" Android Development". On his androidfilehost you may find all the necessary files such as latest rom (twrp, cwm, omni, etc) and customize rom for kitkat or lollipop. He also made slim version for both of it. He also help how to do it. But be aware to backup everything first as usual. as what I did was a clean install thus it may not bring back any bugs with it. So it means download all the apps manually. But if you connect the game with google play your data will stay the same (I guess).
Just my 5cents. Sorry if it doesnt help much or didn't answer your questions. Hope someone could explain it better
Best of luck.
No with clockworkmod recovery it is best to have the one Rom manager recommends for a device. And seeing as no roms have been made for p3113 or p3110 I flashed it with the p3100 recovery. The one it downloaded and flashed is 6.0.2.7 because that recovery is meant for p3100. Nightlies I found out are full builds and with the app link2sd you can convert apps to system apps so you do not loss them when flashing a new rom. So thats what I did with my downloaded apps. Now as I have aslo backed up everything. I need to download a working nightly.
Also I would like to know if I could somehow take away the samsung dependency? They have too many apps that are key to my system's functionality.

[Resolved] Encryption unsuccessful CarbonRom Samsung wave s8500

Hi guys, i spent my whole day trying to get Android instead of bada on my samsung galaxy wave s8500...None of the rom proposed worked, whether my phone just go crazy and i have to put it in DL mode to flash it again or just fail to install the rom.
The CarbonRom was the closest to success (it even wrote "success" when i installed it and boot correctly) but instead of landing on the actuel ROM i get the "Encryption unsuccessful"...What should i do ? why doesn't any ROM work for me ? i am without a doubt missing something here...
Thank you for your time.
Solved, phone needed a proper re-flashing of Bada 2.0 before trying any ROM other than CarbonROM.

Boot Animation on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro running TWRP Custom Rom Nougat

My Friends,
I am new to this world, although I was able to put Android Nougat 7.1.2 ROM and Gapps on to my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 myself. I believe that I got them from here, Lineage 14.1 unofficial 20170106 v1awifi. I have a question. I made sure that I am rooted properly and everything else is working great, thanks all you ROM builders. So then I find a copy of ROM Toolbox Pro 5.5.1, I read that this program will let me change my boot animations and other things. I am super excited because I'm just a kid at heart when it comes to making things how I like them. I tried all night to get ANY boot animation to work and nothing. I know the program has some control because it deleted my boot animation that came with the ROM, Lineage with an upside down smile and 3 circles I think it was. So now I'm at my wits end trying to make this program work, and nothing. I'm stuck with some boring android boot animation and I can't do anything about it. I admit defeat and register here for some help, from you smarter than I am users, in understanding what is not working right. Oh, I didn't flash it or nothing like that (the boot animations) it said that it installed and then nothing but android. So I beg, please, someone with some know how please help me find out what I did or didn't do so as to make this work.

Reinstall original Android on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8010

Hi
A few months ago I installed Team Win Recovery and Android CM on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 because stock android slowed it down. That was however a bad idea as Android CM is not supported by some apps which I use. Now I wanted to go back by stock android.
I used newest Odin to install a stock version which I found on the internet (stock software is hard to get). I was not in super user mode when I did it. Since then my Tablet is busted. On start it remains on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 logo. Cannot get into TWRP anymore. Tried to install TWRP via odin, does also not work.
Was it a problem that I wasn't SU user, or was the stock software not compatible? Can I change SU user state via Odin? Any idea how to get out of this mess?

help with flashing Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 stock rom

hey guys, this is my first post and I’ve got a question.
Just yesterday I found my old tablet from when I was 12 years old, a Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 (the 8GB WiFi version, to be precise). I was kinda excited to find it, but then all that excitement went after I booted the device for the first time in 10 years. (yep, there was a reason I stopped using it). Android 4.2 jellybean was half corrupt on that tab. It boots ok, but system ui crashes and reloads itself when I unlock the device, and opening the gallery app just restarts the device. I want to reflash android 4.2 on the device to fix all the problems (I want the original android 4.2 OEM image, not cyanogenmod or an unofficial image), and also I might want to create a backup rom in case I want some old pictures or apps from the corrupt jellybean) Can someone provide a step by step guide on how to
1. root the device
2. make a backup
3. reflash the image (also send a link to the original android 4.2 WIFI rom
some extra info
Model number: gt-p3113
Build number: P3113UEUCMK3
All help will be appreciated
Update is the way you should take... Use SD card, the easiest way to update your old tab.. Google for the update file put it on SD card and start recovery, than take update option.
