Does anyone knows of any app that allows me to have on the Galaxy Note 8 the same functionality I had on the Note 4... the meeting mode:
- On meeting mode, the microphone is sensitive to sounds from all directions, and the device is able to distinguish up 8
sources of sound.
- According to sound source direction, screen icon is changed.
If you record the participants position at the table you'll get to know who said what according with the sound direction.
Well, I don't know if the Note 8 have as many microphones as Note 4 has (3).

Recently acquired the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet. Beautiful tablet, pleasant for armchair reading.
However, the sound does not work and I can't remember if it ever worked.
The system sounds (like clicking keys, or is that a separate vibration function?) do work, so speakers and drivers seem to be working.
Tried all the obvious things, like checking sound settings and all seems to be OK. But no sound with YouTube videos.
Would be grateful for any helpful suggestions

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and one of the things that annoy me the most is the stock camera app. Apart from it being really slow, I also cannot disable the camera shutter sound (some models have an option there but mine doesn't).
I have tried pretty much everything to disable te sound, but nothing works. Note: When the phone is on vibration mode or silent mode it still turns up the volume of the camera and makes that shutter sound (even when I'm wearing headphones, it stops the music and plays the shutter sound through the phone speakers).
I have tried apps like Camera Mute but they just turn the volume of the phone down when you open the camera, and as I said before, silencing the phone doesn't stop the camera sound.
Apart from that I had also rooted my Note 4 (since that sound made me crazy). I have tried using CSC Features (<cscfeature_camera_shuttersoundmenu>TRUE</cscfeature_camera_shuttersoundmenu>) and although this added the option to silence the shutter in the camera app, I was unable to click on it (and disable the sound).
My last option was to rename all the files that had anything to do with the camera sound (ex. Shutter.ogg, ...) and this worked... For about one day. After that the sound just started again (Note: the sounds were still renamed so I don't know how the sound could come back).
I also downloaded the "boosted" note 4 camera (Kevinrocksman's camera mod for Galaxy Note 4) and replaced the stock camera with it, but here was also no option to silence the shutter sound.
Also, apps like Snapchat and/or ProCapture Camera are all able to take silent pictures, it's just the stock camera app that doesn't want to cooperate. (And if you wonder why I don't just use ProCapture Camera to take pictures: I don't like their design + there are no options specific to the Note 4's camera (ex. 4K video recording, Smooth Motion, Slow Motion, etc. and the picture quality is also worse than on the stock camera app in my opinion).
Now if anyone can help me how to disable the camera shutter sound or if anyone has an app that takes great silence pictures and has all the options the note 4 stock camera has, I would be so thankful!

Hello i just bought Oneplus 6. Transition from phone Zenfone 5, at first I must say its very nice device, but I have a few questions or maybe request for development.
1, Audio
In a lot of reviews, the speaker is a weak spot of Oneplus 6, I do not think it's so bad. But I know about the mode for stereo. Is it possible to implement it to official update? Does anyone use this mode? Is it a problem to make it work in official android?
Audio quality from jack / bluetooth.
There are opinions, that the audio output from oneplus 6 is not perfect. But it is possible to improve it with Viper audio (XDA forum). Next thing to implement to official android? Why not?
Dirac Audio - What is it? It's functional?
This is the biggest weakspot in reviews. So make it operational in the next update is a good idea right?
2,battery modes
From Asus Zenfone 5 I was used to battery modes, there were a battery savers with a limit on the number of running applications, CPU clock etc... Is it possible to add it to Oneplus 6?
3, display brightness
I read about Amoled HBM technology, on the automatic regulation of brightness is possible to boost up brightness to 650nits. But is it active in 5.1.9?
4, Panorama: only one direction and quality of connecting images Is bad.
Should be fixed in next update?
5, Audio output:
Low volume, flat sound.
6, Bluetooth
Audio settings also for bluetooth.
7,Better bitmapping for photos against light
8,Poor sound quality when recording video in WhatsApp.
Some way how to solve any of these problems?

I have samsung galaxy s8 plus double sim Exynos Processor, Running on android pie.
But i have a big problem in my mobile and that is,
It automatically makes Ringtone Sound slow from 100 percent to 20 percent (i think) And then when call comes to me , i cannot hear my mobile's Ringtone.
So what apps causing this problem?
And what will be the possible SOLUTION of it.

Hi guys, as per the title. Voice recordings and calls on my oneplus 7 pro are basically inaudible at a lower level if I shout at it it sounds normal but otherwise its awful.
I've heard it might be using the top speaker to record WhatsApp notes but I'm not sure. I'm rooted so is there anything I can do to sort this? Every other app seems to be perfect when using the mic. Thanks
