Hello,
I have noticed (fortunately my wife remember me, so it does not have a effect) that my U11 does not display a reminder for bithday entrys from my Exchange Contacts. I'm pretty sure that they have been displayed on my One M9 which I have used before. What can I do that I will remembered for this entrys?
May a suggestion for a testing scenario ( like create fake contacts with bithday or other entrys at pone, other at Outlook client, ond so on...)?
Does anyone have seen, and maybe resolved this issue?
Thanks & best regards

time zone
hi,
I know this problem from having different (or changing) time zones.
An appointment will be converted from "all day" to day1+-timezonechange - day2+-timezonechange
I had the same problems. Duplicate contacts, appointments, tasks. Oh man I was at wits end. Then, I found SKTools just last night. Problems solved. This is one of the best I have found so far.
Or you can use ODIR for PC's outlook to remove all duplicate problem (contact, calendar ... etc)
Hi there!
I realised that some of my contacts' birthdays never appear in the calendar, as others do... Why is this happening? In some contacts I set the birthday date but it never appears in the calendar. Do you have the same problem? Is there a way to solve it?
Thanks!
before check it with PIM Birthdayz (www.pdagear.net, it is free).
After (i use it) active "David Andr Birthdays" http://www.pdagold.com/software/list.asp?s=AUTH:David+Andr%9A
it' s free and very nice
Thanks for the response.
Isn't there a way to solve it without installing more applications?
I had a similar problem, so I exported all my contacts from Outlook to an excel file, double checked date formats for birthdays, deleted all contacts from outlook and imported them back from the excel file. It worked for me..give it a try. good luck
I have a birthday issue. When I enter my birthday of 9-1-1949 in the Outlook 2007 contacts area it adds the birthday to the calendar correctly on my desktop computer. However, when I sync my Fuze with my computer and then open the calendar on the Fuze, it has put my birthday in the wrong place. On the Fuze my birthday shows up as January 1 in the calendar area. (It is correct in the contact area.) It's crazy. All other birthdays are correct. The same issue occured when I was using Outlook 2003. I purchased Outlook 2007 hoping to solve it, but it didn't. It must be an issue with the software on the FUZE, or a bug in the sync process.
If anyone knows how to correct it, I would appreciate your help. It's a small thing I realize, but frustrating.
Try creating the date on the device. It might be a sync issue rather than an issue with one or other of the software packages.
Thanks for the suggestion l3v5y. I created my birthday in the FUZE contacts profile. It didn't insert the birthday anywhere in my calendar. Any other ideas?
Hi,
I don't know where the difference to the general forum, so I hope I'm right here.
I had a few problems with the birthday appointments in the calender, so I delete everyone. Some birthdays where 2-5x in the calender and a few had a reminder every 12 years.
So the birthday of may contacts is stored in the details part. Know I want, that my phone reminds me if someone has birthday. Whats the best solution? I prefer a solution, that also outlook will notify my. But when only my phone will notify me, its also ok.
I use the HTC Touch Pro 2 with the EnergyROM (WM 6.5 and Manila 2.1)
best regards,
neon
I have a nice brandnew Desire S, no custom rom (yet) and all original.
I'm experiencing a calender problem I can't find any info about on google.
I have both a google account with appointments, and an exchange account with appointments. When I make a new appointment in outlook, it get's replicated okay to my phone. A moment later the appointment also gets replicated to my google account, and therefore appears 2 times in my calender app (HTC).
Also when I make a new appointment in Google (on the phone or on PC does not matter) it first shows on the phone once, and later it seems to get replicated to my exchange account and it appears also in outlook and twice on my phone.
I dont want replication between the calenders, I just want to be able to look at both calenders.
Anyone an idea about what I am overlooking?
Thanks!

From within the HTC Calendar application
Calendar->More->Calendars and un-select one of your calendars....either Google or Outlook.

But that's not what I want. I want to be able to look into 2 (soon 3) separete calenders, without getting all appointments replicated to the other calenders...
But somehow the problem got solved. The described behaviour has suddenly disappeared. Pitty I don't know why ;-)
