Anyone created a root for the Verizon Ellipsis HD LTE? I'm installing in my Nissan Titan truck as my head unit display and need to root so I can better automate with Tasker.

I'm trying to figure out what the best option for a verizon android non LTE phone would be. I'm looking for one to put onto pageplus wireless. Droid X2 doesn't look too bad, but not real sure on it.
Any suggestions?
I've researched all over the internet and can't find any information about mirrorlink compatibility. Ironically, the phone I replaced the Maxx with - the Razr Maxx - is compatible with mirrorlink car stereos. Any Android geniuses have a way to find this out?

I have been keeping an eye on the Urbane 2 watch since I did not have much luck with my Moto 360 Sport.
I see that there is an AT&T version and Verizon Version. What is the difference?
I currently use T-Mobile service and wasn't planning to use the cellular side of it, but I would be interested to know which would be a better fit for me.
Thanks!
Hello all,
I am new to this forum and also new to smartwatches. I am currently on the market for a phone independent smartwatch with 4G/LTE connectivity via SIM card and either Android Wear 2.0 or some recent version of Android OS. I am very interested in the LG Urabne 2 considering the great reviews I have read and the way it looks. I have some questions however:
1. Would it be possible for me to buy an unlocked Urbane 2 and get a pre-paid plan with a carrier like Cricket? Is the watch compatible with their network?
2. Would I be able to use the same phone number for my watch as I do for my phone (I currently have a Moto G4 and a Cricket Wireless Pre-Paid plan)?
3. Are answers to questions 1 and 2 valid also for other similar smartwatches such as the LG Watch Sport and the Huawei 2.0 or does each Android Wear watch work differently when it comes to network compatibility?
I would greatly appreciate any help I can get as I am eager to order this my new device soon and enjoy phone independence.
