Hi xda-people,
I'm trying to get back to STOCK Rom but it seems that I'm not able to.. So I locked my bootloader with fastboot oem lock, went back to fastboot usb and tried to install The O2 UK RUU with administrator rights. After that there was no booting OS on my One S .. so I re-unlocked the bootloader and went back into the CM10 .. but now I cant enable any usb connection(tried driver re-install etc.) and my SDCARD couldn't be mounted... also via CWM... a got no clue what do now ... THE CID is O2__102. My One S was/is running CM10 S-ON unlocked Bootloader by HTC DEV.
I'm looking forward to help from you guys, it would be awesome!
Many thanks so far.
p.s my signature is out of date.
You have too install stock recovery first. Before relock. Too be able to run the ruu. I think.
Treads galore about this
Verstuurd van mijn One S met Tapatalk
I'm not able to find the stock recovery and i cannt access the sdcard to push it anyway on the device nevertheless is it possible to do that ?

You can extract a stock recovery image from any RUU or OTA.
There is a sticky on how to fix unmountable sdcard here in Q&A.

So one day of searching and nothing so I hope someone could help me.?
Sensation XE, S-on, Hboot 1.29
Did the htcdev, tried to flash but now stuck on htc screen..
Got the Htc Sync installed and the two versions of the SDK.
Fastboot recognises the phone but the adb does not.
So I can open the phone in bootloader mode but thats it.. Any ideas how I can get my phone back to normal?
A simple answer would be nice

Hi,
Follow rzr86's link and install 4 EXT recovery.
This has the option called "Smartflash" which you need to flash ROMS/kernels.
Cant do 4EXT becouse when I press recover it will jump to htc screen and freeze..
got the cid code and it said HTC_001.. the only RUU finishing with 001 was O2_UK_O2. Could it be the one?
Got this phone from UK..
So I found the rigth RUU with image 3.33.401.153.
But in the middle I get error 155.
?
could this be any harder??
Ou my god I did it!
Had to lock it again = fastboot oem lock , or what it was and then I ran the RUU and it worked!!
Tanks anyway everybody..

If you are after MaximusHD firmware, you should also reflash TWRP or other recovery for villie, and ...
Actually if it would me who want go back, I would use original RUU (that one that can be easily S-Off, SuperCID and so on) so
1) Do HBOOT down grade
2) oem lock
3) flash original RUU
You do not need remove S-Off or SuperCID so only if original RUU will removed them you will need to do it again.

Okey, what are you trying to reach?
Fix TWRP mount issue? Not possible till update from MaximusHD.
Or just change firmware from MaximusHD which is based on JB 4.2.2 to something that based on JB 4.1.xx?

They should not, but if they will gone you have to have a known way how to return them. So I suggest to return to those settings from which you have started. If it was HBOOT 2.15 then flash 2.15 if it was more early release flash that one. If you did your S-Off and SuperCID from this RUU then flash it if not then download exactly that that you already S-Offed.

I am installing CM now. So the problem is solved. And im still S-OFF and superCID. Thanks for your help!
EDIT; after CM booted, intermediately got a reboot..
Going to wipe everything and try again
EDIT; everything works!
After trying this, i get installations fails with cm11, don't know why. (error executing updater binary in zip)
Hi There,
My one S will only start up in CWM. I would like to try and put another ROMon it, but i keep losing my sdcard.
I tried to mount it again, but on my mac i don't succeed with it. My knowledge of adb/fastboot is a bit low (i bought this phone with CM11, but wifi wasn't working properly, so i updated it. Then it wasn;t working at all.
So i kind off got rit of CM11 (not my purpose, but it happened).
Now i'm stuck with a none working phone.
Anyone in the area of Utrecht, the Netherlands who can help me out?
Is much apreciated (i work in a bar, so with beer i can repay )
hope to hear from anyone.
ciao
kalle
You could try another recovery like twrp.

To answer both. I would like to get twrp on it, but the only ways i can find to change the recovery is trhough goo manager or apps you can put on your phone (which isn't working)
I think the first part would be getting the sdcard to be more stable (format the damn thing)
Sorry, i think it's a ville. I will try and get the CID this weekend. including the rest of the info (don't have the device with me (@work) But to fastboot/adb the device i hope the sdcard will work properly...
Will edit this message this weekend.
To flash the recovery you dont need the sd card to work. You can do this by using fastboot commands.
At first you have to make sure that your Computer has the HTC-Driver installed and got a working adb/fastboot directory. If you dont know how to make this work, simply search this Forum there are plenty of good guides.
After you got this working, simply copy the latest twrp.zip to your adb folder. Boot your phone into fastboot mode. Open the command prompt from your adb folder and type in: "fastboot flash recovery recovery.zip".
After this is done you should be able to access twrp recovery.
if you don't tell me whats you cid and if you have a ville o villec2 i can't help you, because you can brick your phone
Finnaly i have time to answer some question and give a update (very busy weekend on this siode )
cid: VODAP102
hboot: 2.15.0000
S-on
i've managed to flash the recovery (twrp 2.8.6.5)
Pushed the latest CM12-1, through twrp i installed it, wipped the dalvik/cache, but then nothing happens...
It seems that i'm stuck in een boot sequence to end up in twrp again..
am going to try to get s-off and then push the rom again...keep you posted

if you're s-on you need to flash the boot.img via fastboot, but if s-off not, maybe this is your problem.
