Hi all hope there's some help here.
My phone has decided in the last 2 days that there's no service. It's turned off the GSM radio (checked under sim status - service status), and I can't figure out how to turn it back on. Marshmallow 6.0.1
I've tried wiping cache, tried factory reset, tried different sim.
I was thinking that re-flashing a stock rom might re-initialise it, unless anyone has any other ideas?
If so what do I need to install and do to flash the rom?
Thanks.

Ok a few days ago before this happened my phone was fine I had 4g and already had the latest t-mobile ota update and no I didn't have the phone hboot unlocked or root it was stock. For some reason I decided to delete all data/factory reset well when it came back up I only had 2g service. I tried reboot, factory reset x3, toggled airplane mode, wipe cache in stock recovery, reset APN to defaults, WCDMA only and gsm/wcdma, selected data roaming, ran 2.35 ruu, tried the select network automatically, called service provider to have them tell me to do the same stuff I already did plus they "reset and resent my signal".. Which now I've tried custom roms and still nothing. I've searched this issue and only found that ppl were having this problem as a result of the ota update that didn't patch the 2g issue or caused it.. i don't know lol bout to give up on this, Anybody have any suggestions please feel free to share. thanks

Hi, I have XiaoMi Mi2S and I just screwed up. In the service menu *#*#INFO#*#* I accidentally changed to the USA Band, Im in Europe. Since then I have absolutely no signal for any network. There isnt any other working option besides USA Band, no automatic, no EURO, just some nonworking nonsense........
Tried reset to factory, wiped cache, flashed new rom, flashed new kernel, flashed new baseband, flashed stock, NOTHING WORKS!
Can you please help me? What can I do?

Are you using it in the United States. If not the factory firmware may not support those bands. I would look up flashing unlocked firmware. Or try reflashing the csc and cp files in Odin maybe it's a radio error
I tried to install Malaysian firmware and then I wanted to go back to my stock ORS CSC, but now it's giving me SER CSC and I can't go back to my original CSC, I tried reflashing, sim card ejecting, codes in dialer, etc. and nothing works. it's OXM, any ideas?
I also have a problem with my CSC, I never tried flashing anything onto the phone, but when I first turned it on I did it with no SIM card as it didn't arrive yet and now my CSC is stuck on generic EUX instead of my country code.
I tried a network settings reset, a cache wipe and a factory reset, I also tried those methods of pulling the card out and putting it back in when the phone is off or just taking it out and putting back in while phone is off, none of it worked.
The phone got the April security update so I don't think I'm totally screwed but I don't have Samsung Pay and Members only recently started to work.

no one knows as I can see. Only pay samkey.
I think you could maybe use a patched odin because the original odin is region locked so you can't change your region and or carrier after that you change it. And also 1 thing, I don't know for sure if that works.
I hope this helps it's just a thing that I thought of that could maybe help
