Hello I am owner of Moto G Indian Dual sim version XT 1033.
Lately i have been having problems to transfer data to and fro from the device.
It stucks in between.
The data cable seems intact. I pay attention that it stays still.
Anybody else facing the same problem?
Is there any app for changing from MTP to conventional USB storage.
I know it might require root but still anyone heard of it?
HI,
I just got a consumer cellular moto g 8gb XT1034 which is running the 4.4.2 with System Version : 173.44.34.falcon_umts.AWSCC.en.us
The phone was sim locked so i got it unlocked from ebay for use with t-mobile.
It has a weird issue nothing to do with unlocking though,
The phone does not display any navigation keys. No Home/Back/Recents.
Does anyone know what could be wrong ? Since the phone uses soft keys it has to do something with software bug.
Everything else about the phone looks fine and I tried rotating but the keys are still missing/hidden.
Not sure what is going on. I am stumped
Could someone please help ?
THanks,
Gaurav

Possible to flash with ATT software? Or can I root some how and fix this?

I am still have a few days to exchange, or return the phone.

Mods please move if I am in wrong forum
I have a G Stylo and the call quality is horribly muffled. I sent it in for repair, wrote a letter stating what was wrong with it, and told them to test it before sending it back. They threw the letter away without reading it, didn't fix it and sent it back. I was without a phone for 3 weeks. They don't know what they are doing. Customer service is horrible too. Avoid anything LG at all costs!
I've upgraded my H810 from 5.1 to android 6.0 and after this I don't have carrier signal anymore.
I've returned to 5.1 but it doesn't work.
Does somebody know how to fix this?

Did you reset the device? Did you remove your sim and put it back in?

We are in the same boat. Except mine came back from repair from LG and worked for 4 days and has been stuck with "no service" on my screen and no reception bars. I have done multiple reboots, a reset, boot w/sim, w/o sim, etc.

Have you tried another sim? Or your sim in another phone? You'll most likely have to warranty it again.

Yes, the issue isn't the sim at all. My sim works in my other phones and no other sim works in this one. I was afraid I'd have to send it in again. After this next fix, I'll be giving up on LG phones in general.

Well the G4 was a dud in my opinion same went for the G3. Performance and reliability my old G2 beats both of them. Now the G5 & G6 are great devices. Only issues I've seen with the G5 are power button and charger port issues.

I was anticipating getting a G6 or V20
I've been falling into a "no service" mode on and off for a couple months. Ever since I decided to bite the bullet and move from rooted Lollipop to obviously-unrooted Marshmallow in an attempt to clean it up for an RMA, it's been working just fine. Figures.
