Hi, if you already install apk file you can use app like Quick reboot to reboot into recovery no need to use hardware key.
There is different combination hardware key like:
- press power + Vol Up release 1-2 secs and press it again or
- press power + Vol Up release 1-2 secs and press Vol Up + Vol down
- Or you can switch key Vol Up to Vol Down if it's not working
I think my F350S came with Kitkat and I use Stump root to root it and install Philz recovery. After that I flash TWRP on top of Philz recovery.
Someone mentioned here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65537987&postcount=19
buy lg g pro 2..dont update to lolipop.. root on kitkat with towelroot.. and install lolipop flash zip or tizen...
The tread for G Pro2 recovery is here, you may already read and got the apk file I think.

Good luck and Happy new year!!

I installed the Official Lollipop for F350s, but after that my TWRP is gone.
If I'm trying the same method again but it is not working any more.
How to get the TWRP back?

Navigating bootloader with no power button

Hello,
I have a Google Nexus S, and as a lot of people out there, my power button is no longer working, and the warrany has expired. What I would like to do is install the latest version of the OS: jelly bean, but I do not want to wait for the OTA release in my country (France, with network operator Oorange).
I know that if the power button were working I could just use the .zip file with the update and install it. But the problem is that since the power button is not working, I cannot navigate in the boot menu. Does any of you know if there is a way to go around this and install the update before the OTA?
For now I do not have root access to my phone.
Thank you!
Well, you could flash the touch based CWM if you can get into fastboot and reboot into recovery from ADB. Then just flash the zip file.
Install touch based recovery such as CWM or TWRP. I don`t know it can be installed without navigating recovery.

[Q] How to install custom recovery after upgrading to Lollipop

Hi all
I have a XT1032 that I purchased from the Orange online store last year. I decided to give the official Lollipop update a go but I'm really not liking it. I want to revert back to either the stock 4.4.4 ROM or possibly a custom 4.4.4 ROM.
So far I've unlocked the bootloader on my device with no issues but I'm having some trouble flashing a custom recovery.
I've tried flashing the latest TWRP for MotoG (http://teamw.in/devices/motorolamotog2013.html) using fastboot but when I try to boot into the recovery the device just switches off. I also tried with the older TWRP 2.6.3.0 release for MotoG and have the same issue, as does CWT 6.0.47
Has anyone run into this issue before? Does anyone have any advice on how to solve the problem?
Try 2.8.1.0 TWRP when you in bootloader menu you must vol- to recovery and vol+ to enter recovery not power button

Thanks! I feel like a complete nub, I didn't read the bootloader screen properly or I'd have realized what I was doing wrong, I'm so used to every other device I've used (HTC, Samsung, SE) using power to select bootloader menu items

I need fast help!!!!!!

I did a a misstake, I was going to do a retore to original Stock Kit Kat, I was on Linage OS 7.1.
I did the restore and forgot to install the Kitkat baseline, kernel(_to_10f.zip).
The phone got the _to_20f.zip right now.
The problem is because I forgot the install the _to_10f.zip the phone just freezes at the lg logo with the moving circle.
If there is a complete correct installed Sotck KitKat, I can press down volume down and power button together and then release powernutton when LG Logo is shown and then press powerbutton again to enter recovery which isnt possible now and If I am on a correct installation on Linage 7.1 I press the volume up and hold power button and when the Lg Logo is shown I release the powerbutton but keep pressing the volume up till the recovery mode comes up.
Now I can do neither of them, It seems that beacuse of wrong kernel it wont work with none of those to ways of entering recovery mode
The only thing a I can access is the donwload mode which I enter by pressing down and then connect a usb cable from the pc. It gives the message USER B5 with grey text and ROOTED with red text.
Is it possible to connect the phone to a pc and install the _to_10f.zip ?

I fix it by using LG Flassh Tool and installing the original Sotck Lollipop.
Now a new problem, how do I root Lollipop D838 with lollipop?

It's easier to go back to kitkat and root than just root on lollipop

Exactly what I was going to do But I dont find the origianl kdz file for the kitkat 4.4
I think I succeded in rooting the phone, but after installing the twrp apk and reboot into recovery I got a new error:
demigod crash handler critical error.
So the best thing is to find the kdz file.
