Hey!
So im trying to fix a friends tab. N8020. Its in a bootloop ( cant acces recovery, only download mode)
I've read and tried every possible fix so far
- Flashed a lot of roms (stock, modded, cwm etc) (the flash itself is success but nothing happens)
- Used different cables and ports
- Disassembled it
I tried to do a kies emergency recovery but kies doesnt recognize the tab ( drivers are fine.)
Is there anything left to try?
thx!!
May I suggest you use Odin to flash a stock ROM?
If you can get it into download mode, use the stock ROM to refresh it to its factory state.
Links for the stock ROM can be found here. Depending on your country:
https://gsmarena24.blogspot.com/2014/07/stock-firmwares-roms-for-samsung-galaxy_6.html
Instructions on how to use ODIN to flash a ROM care found here. Just replace the ROM with the one you downloaded from above.

Hope that helps

Well that's probably made it worse .
Stock roms are posted on the forum and sammobile .com .
As above flash stock rom via Odin for your model and Note the point of failure in Odin .

Depends.
If you want to completely revert to factory settings (that means removing CWM recovery too) then use ODIN method.
If you wish to flash other roms in future then I suggest you to flash pure stock roms by Raj Joshi from android developement section.
Simply flash those like normal roms through recovery.
Tip: Flash CM7,miniCm7 and their derivatives for better performance. Stock roms are always laggy. (atleast for me)
Procedure and Happy Flashing

Hi @vikrantnegi007,

For ODIN Flashing Tool:
http://www.downloads.techdiscussion.in/software/download-odin-rooting-software/
and Procedure to Flash is:
- Shutdown Galaxy Fit and restart it in Recovery Mode. For that hold the volume down key + Home key and power key. Hold it for some seconds and leave it. The device will boot in recovery mode. When the yellow triangle, connect cell phone and a computer with a USB cable.
- Launch ODIN on your system. In that look under ID:COM section. The section will turn to yellow once the device is connected and detected.

please help me!
you can flash stock rom via odin followed by a factory reset in cwm .. this way you'll not face any fc's on your stock rom .. you can get the original firmware and the recovery only if you flash the stock via odin .. though you might increase the flash counter in your download mode ... download the compatible rom and odin for your device and flash it via odin .... correct me if i am wrong and please do ask if any problem occurs or if you did not understand something ... all the best and happy Flashing
OK - So I'm not a noob, but also dont have tons of and indepth experience when it comes to this stuff. I know enough about flashing custom recovery and roms / flashing back to stock / yada yada yada ....
I'm on Verizon S3 i535 4.4.2 (yes I know the bootloader's locked and there isnt anything I can do, custom that is, to this phone)
So, I rooted - loaded safestrap - even loaded the ONE custom rom (which was a debloated stock) that I could find. Decided I wanted it all back to stock - went to sammobile.com / downloaded the correct one and flashed through odin - it was ALMOST at the end and getting ready to reboot when BOOM - FAILED pops up and then it went to the Firmware Upgrade/Downgrade Problem (with the triangle). I can boot into the actualy download mode, like you normally would for odin - try to get recovery and get that Firmware screen. I have a feeling it's a Partition issue (cause for the debloated rom I installed, I had to make a "Rom slot" for it) - but i dont know how to fix that!
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Hi, my friends dad purchased a galaxy s5 (scl23 - sm900j, running 4.4.2 )from some website and its performance has been atrocious. Me and my friend have attempted to install a custom rom but have ran into issues. At first we tried to flash twrp through odin but that failed so then we tried to install twrp through twrp manager (we gained root through towel root). The main problem happened when he rebooted into the bootloader/recovery screen where he got the "could not do normal boot" message. Google says that to resolve this you flash the stock rom, so we tried googling for that but not even sammobile has the 900j stock rom. Does anyone any way to fix the problem/ what/where the 900j rom is?
edit: i think i might have found it, using SCL23 brings up results even though 900J doesnt.
follow up question: say we are able to boot back to stock rom, are there any tailored guides for the 900J on how to flash?
Hello, guys. I am new arround here and I need guidance for soft unbricking an Samsung SM-G9250. First time I tried to install Gapps but it was stucked. after that I tried TWRP 3.0.0 and 2.7, I tried different firmware versions, but nothing. Now when I tried to instal via Odin 3.10 the original firmware, it's not working. Can someone help me out to do something with this phone? The only way it`s going to come up is download mode.
