sorry for my English fierst lol )))
hello. i have unlocked lg d800 undroid 4.4.2 not rooted and whont update knock code and when i trie to update it cpmes messige "youer phone not registered yet" whot can i do? please help. thanks ))

most probably you'll have to root your phone.
Kernel with the knock code update is available here (last one) https://www.lg.com/global/support/opensource/opensourceList?types=NAME&search=d800
So according to my knowledge you can get the knock code update simply by flashing the D800-20u kernel on top of the KITKAT(original) rom.

i can't get it without root?? i never root this phone

Well it seems that you need to root to flash which is really easy. Rooting is not rocket science

No data will be lost. So that suggests you it is a simple process and you always can unroot the device.
****For your information Even if you do a factory reset only the settings will be gone. Non of you photos or files will be lost.

Well i think i found to flash the update without rooting. Download the kernel (last one in https://www.lg.com/global/support/opensource/opensourceList?types=NAME&search=d800 and extract it. If it contains a kdz file then tell me. Im at work btw)

well i trie to root my phone but it say downgrade version

Please Help!!!, soft bricked

After I modified the build.prop file I forgot to change the file rights and now it is stuck on a black screen with the led on green/blue
I have a backup of the original file on the SD.
The phone can get into download mode.
I have already tried the factory reset but nothing.
I have also tried the unroot metod from the post:

Thanks for the IMEI advice. I understand that you where telling me to not show my IMEI on the post.
Also, yes, I did change the com port to 41, that is why all the process runs correct until the moment when I disconnect the phone and connect it again (after the COM41 window says Ready) then it start the precess and gave my that message.
Please, I am really desperate, I don't know what else to do to fix my phone.

Thanks, I will try it, but, what does "trip the Qfuse" mean?

Permanently void your warranty is what it will do. It's similar to a flash or root counter but can't be reset.

my imei number shows my model as lg ls990...but my model is shows as lg d855
the os which was preinstalled in mine was d855v10i....32gb /3gb ram ........and i have flashed many d855 rom but none of that works.....it got flashed but they reboots after boot logo occurs.....can you help me to fix this problem

[Q] Can't unbrick phone, LG FlashTool always fails after 2 seconds.

So I edited my build.prop and forgot to reset permissions before rebooting, now my phone's bricked. I can't seem to find a kdz file for my phone (D850) so I've been trying to fix it with the tot method.
The FlashTool checked the model and instantly failed until I got a different dll file to make it skip that verification, now whenever it begins the process it always fails after 2 seconds. I've followed the procedure at least a dozen times now making sure I'm not missing anything but I just can't get this to work.
If I'm completely stuck here, would there be any way to get a replacement from AT&T? I bought the phone only a week ago so I was thinking if I pulled the defective device card they'd give me another.

That's exactly where I ended up before making this thread. Using that dll and still getting the error. Is it a problem that the FlashTool reports back with NULL for PID and IMEI before failing?

Hate to say, but it's the first I've heard of this.

Damn, and after all the years I've spent modding my phones I never thought I'd run into something like this. Never have I not been able to fix my (or a friend's) phone after it was softbricked, hell I fixed a softbricked HD2 that was running ICS at the time.
Well this sucks, looks like I'll have to keep looking for an alternative method or I'll have to make a trip down to AT&T.
Thanks for the attempt, though. Hopefully nobody else has this issue.

I am also having this problem. have already flashed a bunch of modems and no one worked, last one flashed was "Full-oxygen-04-04-15-Bacon-modem-flashable" from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...dio-updated-modem-radio-files-oxygen-t3072516
My problem now is that it detects when im close but doesnt detect when im far, so it keeps the screen shut. Can you help me?

Ah, found solution, as it seems, flashing modems with TWRP doesn't work.
I reflashed the extracted modem (named NON-HLOS.BIN) again with fastboot, and voila, working sensor 100%. ?

So, connect with fastboot, then, fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.BIN
Make sure you use the right modem, KK or L

What is the command in to send a file to my OPO when im in CMD in platform-tools folder?
How do i know which is the right modem for me? kk or l?

It explains how to use fastboot in several of the sections. All you need to do is replace the commands you find there with this one:

Man, I'm at the movies and just found this. I've been flashing modems like crazy with TWRP and none worked. If it's as simple as just using the command line flash in Fastboot I'm going to be one happy guy.

HELP! I bricked the S6 (Model is sm-s906L) and I cant find the exact PIT file!

Odin says i need a pit file to flash the original recovery onto the phone.
But I cant find this PIT file anywhere on the internet, please if anyone can get this PIT file for this MODEL i would greatly appreciate it!

Current Condition of the Phone
1. Powering on
2. I can access stock recovery
3. I can access download mode
4. I've tried wipe cache/factory reset
5. Phone's still stucked in boot loop
doesn't get past the tracfone wireless screen, boots pasts samsung logo and hangs at tracfone wireless screen..

Was your phone rooted before it got bricked? Also, I can help you, but you will a custom recovery if your phone is rooted.

I have this same phone......rooted. Can use your help. I want flash any working verizon rom. But more importantly I want to know how to recover from a brick..............
Noticed you were able to recovery from a brick......with Odin? Curious how. I tried to flash a stock Verizon rom, while rooted with ODIN, and pit file.......but it fails.
I am nervous of trying to flash TWRP and custom rom, if I don't know of a full proof recovery method.
Any help is much appreciated.

Last question, does that stock contain the modem (modem.bin)? My phone is unbricked but the EFS is messed up because I flashed a marshmallow update via TWRP and did not backup my EFS. I eventally had to restore my original 5.0.2 stock rom.

I'm done with XDA. Most useless site I've ever dealt with... I have a $400.00 dollar phone that is useless based on the information on this site. They say this file works for your model but....BRICK. No one test what they post as proven...Don't trust what you read on this forum. Go elsewhere...although there is not much else to go to...
