I had a AL10 and wanted to turn it to a NXT-L29. After many problems I managed to make it boot with stock firmware B320 but the storage from 64GB has turned to 4GB in total. I tried flashing another ROM like KangVIP slim but the problem remains. Any ideas?

Hello,
I bought a N5 today as my N4 broke. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed CWM, rooted, flashed stock Android 5.0.1 (as the phone was shipped with Android 4.4.2 or something).
Now all my apps are installed I recognized by looking into the app "DiskUsage" that "System data" accounts for 7gb. How is this possible? I only made one backup after all installations of the apps finished.
EDIT: Sorry, please ignore the following question as I already found threads about this issue
*****
Also, how can I check what my phone's storage really is? When I look into the settings (storage) it says that it's 16gb but I actually bought the phone with 32gb and I'm not sure how to see whether the sales person gave me the wrong phone?
Was it a mistake to install Android 5.0.1 onto the shipped version 4.4.2? Was I supposed to install Android 5.0 first and then 5.0.1? If I made this mistake, how can I solve this?

Thank you very much!

How did you flash 5.0.1 and did you do a factory reset after flashing it? Not doing a factory reset is the most likely reason you're showing the wrong amount of memory. Do a factory reset and it should show the correct memory. If it doesn't then maybe you did not get a 32 Gb device. And, yeah, it's a pita to do that now.
Sent from my Nexus 9 using XDA Free mobile app
just switch phone in bootloader mode and you'll see your phone variant - 16 or 32 GB
thanks for your help guys!
I just re-did all the procedure (flash stock factory image, CWM and root) and now it seems to be all fine. Storage is up to 32gb and before finishing to install all my apps my free storage seems to be fine too.
Thanks again!
Hello, I have a big problem and I would need a little help. The thing is :
I have a Oneplus One 64GB, wich was on CM12S. I failed on rooting it (bootloop), so I used a method to go back to CM11S, and then I flashed the latest nightly of CM12.1 with GAPPS. The problem is that when I go in the storage settings, I see that I have only 12GB of storage space
Does anyone please know how to fix this ?
Hey all,
My H60-L02 was running EMUI 3.1 B535 and i upgraded it to EMUI 4.0 6.9.1
It works fine and i installed TWRP 2.8.7.0 V5 which also works
but the second i try and root or sideload Gapps, it boots back into Android and its pretty corrupt, the launcher is just blank, but the lock screen, camera etc all work, i even managed to open the huawei app store and install apex launcher which works, but the whole OS freezes and is clearly corrupt.
I tried the downgrade method posted here but the recovery always freezes as 5% no matter what.
So im happy to make the best out of EMUI 4, just curious if anyone else has has this issue, also the multi tool seems a bit outdated for EMUI 4.0 support, is there somewhere else i can look for the latest OTA/TWRP/Gapps for EMUI 4.0?
Thanks
I managed to successfully downgrade back to EMUI 3.1
When it said to put the update on an SDCard, it meant a physical SD card

You can pretty much do anything Multitool does but manually.
Have you do factory reset after updating? It solves many problems.

yeah i typically do my own unpacking and flashing, i just use the multi tool for easy access to the correct versions of recoveries etc.
i should have tried factory reset, sometimes the best methods the most simple.
I have pretty much given up on EMUI 4.0, im back on 3.1 with B535 which is fine and stable.
Planning to get a new phone next month so i wont bother tinkering too much more with all this

Alrighty then. I just think it's a shame to give up on a firmware just because it seems unstable when it's not.
What are you getting?
Bit of a late reply i know.
I got a Xiaomi mi5 but returned it because i didnt realise how bad the camera was.
I have a google pixel xl now, and i was going to put my H60-L02 to good use and give it to my dad who has a galaxy S3, but a $5 sim adaptor destroyed the 4G sim card slot, so now i need to find a replacement board online

Hy guys. After reading whole forum on Mate 8 and did what I could I am out of options what to do more. Its been 4 hours trying to do something with my phone but I just came to the end.
I bought Mate 8 the Chinese one and want it to have L29.
I Unlocked it with DC, putted twr and even puted some ROM to change the chinese one. Works more less ( no camera ) but what I have big problem is that I lost Internal Storage. From 64 Gb I have now just 3 Gb, the rest says full.
I tried in TWRP wipe but not working , format not working, ... Looks like its encripted the internal storage but I just cant figure out how to resolve the problem.
I would like to either to flash back original version (which not sure which it was) or to decript and put some normal working ROM.
II am really not sure where I messed up but I really need help.
Please!
UPDATE! I was able to put phone in eRecovey to get back chinese version. Memory all good almost.
The phone is still with bootloader and unlocked.
What would be the easiest way to get L29 on it?
SOLVED! After updating chinese version back to the phone I was able to fix it all.
Some issues I had:
Rays Italian Knife is almost useless (dont bother). Had to do all manual fastboot commands.
Just one TWRP is working for the phone. 3.0.2.0 4.1
At the end I took german l29 rom and puted it on the SD. Flashe, rebooted, updated and works.
I tried rooting my Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2017). It went into a boot loop. I fixed it using a ROM I got from Samfw.com. It's working now but I only have use of 8GB of the original memory. Does anyone know how to restore full use of my internal memory? I'd like to know if any has successfully rooted one of these tablet too.
Thanks

Some devices have multiple versions with different sizes of internal storage. You may have flashed the wrong firmware, if so, you need to find the firmware that is for Tab A8 with the internal memory that you have.

Thank you. I will search for such a ROM.
I have recently attempted to root my SM-T380 with TWRP & Magisk but failed and got stuck in a boot loop. I have returned to a stock ROM without difficulty and I note that System/Data comprises 10.3Gb of my 16Gb internal storage. That seems really large to me. I have attempted to find a stripped down ROM with no bloatware but I get the feeling the SM-T380 has been left out in the cold. These forums have a handful of threads that are mostly useless. I would dearly love to hold onto my Tab for a little while longer.
