I'm using concept sofware from now on my Z3 because the first official version of marshmalow i've tested from Sony was the worst rom ever i've tested... It had a lot of bugs, the sound is poor and the eq works even worst than some ports i've used on my Xperia S...
Soneone can tell me if this problems still in latest Sony Z3 official software update?:
No Gapless sound (there is an space between songs)
The delay to change between songs is very high (this is why it don't has gapless)
The Noise Canceling stops and starts about a secund every time you change between songs (very annoying on high noise enviorments)
Sometimes the call tome don't sounds
Now I don't remember more bugs I found after a day of usage, but i'm sure that were more.
I hope that maybe some day sony will be better than a 3rd party port, because even the Walkman and EQ port made for non sony roms works better on my Xperia S than official on my Z3.

1.The problem
Owned a C902-I changed,bought Xperia Ray. In the car Sony HCB 400 handsfree installed. It worked with the old mobile and not working with the new. The main problem is that I cant record my voice commands VoiceSpeedDial-no default possibility for voice dialing in the NEW Sony mobiles why? - HCB doesnt send my command via bluetooth, mobile has to "hear" it and its microphone too sensitive. HCBfirmware? Bluetotth version? ROM? Please help.

it's a very good app, Ithink the only what works as the usual ones on older phones.
One question (and problem), because I can't use it till this problem exists.
1. If I record a voice dial command for a phone book entry this app uses my phone's microphone instead of my handsfree kit's microphone (as the old phones).
2. If I initialize a voice calling with the handsfree's button (connected bluetooth certainly) my phone has to 'hear' the command instead of my handsfree's microphone (usual at the old one(s)).
I tried it with other phone (and other program), with my old phone (with the default possibility built in the older phones) and it worked, the handsfree's microphone sent my voice command to the phone and that is called for me who I wanted.
My new phone can't hear my voice command via bluetooth connected handsfree's microphone.
Is this possible to say in your program that if a handsfree connected your program has to use that microphone instead of the phones one?
I would like to try a beta version, think it would be great for other Sony users as well.
(Other question: with the new android (at the end of March) your app will work same as now or conceivable that will work fine?)
(old phone is Sony C902, new one is a Xperia Ray, the handsfree is a Sony HCB 400, bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, EDR, the app is Voice Speed Dial (most similar to the old (default) program (I like it for this reason, it's language independent)).

Regarding to your questions, Voice Speed Dial did support the handsfree function, however, we found out that the ROM which built by Sony Ericsson had been changed, the audio driver in Sony Ericsson's phone could not switch to the right audio path that Voice Speed Dial uses, and Voice Speed Dial just follows the official Android system to work on Android phones, since Sony Ericsson did not follow the official Android system to develop their ROM, we may not able to change the system at this moment, hope Sony Ericsson would fix the issue in the future.

So Sony is the answer that I'm not normal because I bought a newer Sony phone (which my question was told that it is activate voice voice call options, spot because Sony, in my sleep not thinking that they will not cooperate), not I looked at the Sony 400 Speakerphone HCB's compatibility list (where, incidentally, also?) and I assumed that Sony does not produce szarabb phone than the previous model (yes, in many ways). I never bought into that Sony is a great company (it's Sony, as we know) that the exhaustion of regret and supported my view, the discovery of errors. Of course it is much easier than trying to solve the problem, may offer some opportunity to change (say, a discount). By the way, for what? I've had this phone for a little less than a year now and it was working fine (except the terrible screen issues before JB). Now with 4.1.2 the screen is fine but other stuff are messed up... Headsets basically don't exist for my phone. I've tried various one button headsets and most of the time clicks are not recognized.I haven't tried 3 buttons ones but I can guess the outcome... I mainly want to control my music when walking(Pause/Play etc.) . Every now and then the headset works fine for a few seconds then Google Now/Search or whatever takes control and then that is for headset controls... I tried :
Disabling Google = Google doesn't start whne listening to musc but no recognition for the button...
Various app solutions for controlling headsets = still no recognition..
Rooted and installed Headset Droid for the Google fix = nope
Different music players that come with headset control functionality = same problem.
Tried SmartConnect + SmartKey = it recognizes that is a headset on the event and starts Walkman but then again clicks do nothing..
This has all been tested with the official headset that comes with the phone...
My friends has the same phone bought from a different country. I've stress tested his phone with the same various headsets and it performs great with absolutely no issues,Google doesn't even launch like on mine..... I saw that although he is on the same JB as me (4.1.2) he is running an older Build. I was on 11.2.A.0.31 and he is on 11.2.A.0.21.
I thought I will reflash to an older Stock rom just to see if the software is the issue. I downloaded DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (v17) and rooted my phone without any issues. Then I downloaded 11.2.A.0.21 No Brand ATA from this forum. I got Flashtool which recognized my phone and I granted it root access. I reflashed with the stock rom with full wipe on cache + data. Phone booted up fine afterwards and it worked quite good. Then I decided to try the headset again. I think you can guess what happened....Same Google issue and no headset functionality whatsoever...
I really like the phone as the sound quality is superior to my Philips mp3 player. I can also have up to 32GB sd which is perfect as I do have a lot of music BUT this headset issue makes listening to music more of a hassle then actual enjoyment... I normally like Sony but I have to admit they have disappointed me when it comes to phones... Not just because of this issue but also the screen problems on ICS which I had to fix with a app made by people on this forum...
I don't know what to do now. I forgot to mention I have not unlocked my bootloader and my phone says : Bootloader unlock allowed : No
in the system service menu. Should I unlock the bootloader with Flashtool and try to go down to ICS which will probably fix the headset and the Google issue but will probably introduce the nasty screen issue..? I don't even know if this is a software issue at all, I would like it to be but i am starting to think that I just have a faulty handset -__- I am probably never buying a phone second hand + phone from Sony again...
I also noticed ST26i_112A021_CE.ftf on 4shared. Is CE better than the no brand one I used ?

music and then it does the usual no response thing until I completely reset the phone.
I was reading on Bluetooth headsets and from my understanding commands from them are on a separate audio stream from the headphone jack. Any idea if same issue will appear if I buy a Bluetooth headset ? I don't want to buy an expensive one and then regret it..

Here's what I do: Look for phillips headset app on the playstore. Install it and configure it to make the changes for a media player that you like and you'll never have problems again.
The next time you pop the headset on the phillips headset app will automatically start and it will also open up the default media player.+ you also get an extra sound boos from the app
So far I have tried :
Philips Headset app
Google Search Disabled: Probably works best, stops accepting commands once I turn the screen off or I play/pause too many times.
Google Search Enabled: The voice dialer/Google Now/Whatever will start up about 10 secs in the song and then forget about any headset control until full phone restart.
JAYS Headset app
Works alright for 5,6 times playing and pausing and then just stops registering clicks. Google Search/Voice dialer affects it in the same way
as Philips Headset.
Headset Button Controller, Ultimate Headset Controller and Headset Droid ( I tried the Google fix) act in the same manner as well....
I've tried just about anything now. I even completely removed Google Search and Voice Dialer from system apps. Even that didn't help..
I guess its just my phone and my only hope now is a bluetooth headset. Hopefully the commands from a BT headset are intercepted and processed differently...
Hello, everything is okay, but the main function doesn't work properly, during the call sound is terrible with cracks.
I have tried all options: Clear Phase, xLOUD switching them on/off, Clear Audio+ and all options in Sound Enhancements.
The second issue is video. My previous Sony Mini 15i was really True HD with decent video recording capabilities, but Sony L's video recording is bad, much worse the Mini 15i, but at first glance Sony L has a better optic.
How to solve these problems, especially the first? Thanks.

Yes. Me 2. Bluetooth pairing with a Sony Bluetooth Speaker is horrible. Interpreter in the songs. Some lags at with Apps and Home Screen and I think battery life is not so good as MM.
Awkward :S Have updated to 7.0 no Problems at all feels a lot smoother than MM and no problems with Bluetooth. Battery life is the same if not better (didnt check it since i can use it without problems for atleast a day)
I use my XZ Dual with bluetooth speakers and have no problems at all.

I have different problem,
when using bluetooth headphones (Sony brand) WiFi is disconnecting
I tried Youtube service, need to disconnect and then again connect WiFi every minute, that is how it works :/
Pairing with a bluetooth device wether headsets,headphones or speakers has mispairing issue or it takes several attempts till it discover the bluetooth device.
Hi, I have two problems.
1) J have modified their mixer_path (I viper), and, unfortunately, but I give a loud are headphones humming and the music turrning off I give to the speaker this problem does not occur, and now I have handset for 20 euros or a wine too weak headphones or wrong settings mixer_path ?
Someone could throw well configured mixer patch to make it loud and extreme, and put on a server? Thanks
