While your v10 should run fast without the tweaks, there is one that can definitely help. Force GPU Rendering. It forces the graphics proscessor to take the load of anything that appears on screan. In the sense atleast, how it moves around on the screen. Like your screen transitions, how fast and application opens, or somthing pops up when clicked. It does make a difference.

FIX SYSTEM CONTROL ON DECREASED BRIGHTNESS TO PREVENT HEAT
The below issue is only present on lg custom roms from 4.2 and up, thermel controls the brightness to low it down to prevent heat, this app patches the thermal to remove some vlaues.
Some advanced users use the dialler to go to the hidden menu to disable the thermal, this app is very useful for simple and fast, also to tablets with no dialler.
Hey every one,
Today, I'm going to present to you an easy way to disable the auto lowering the brightness when in 100%, and make it sit for life-long...
It's an easy way...
I HAVE NOT DEVELOPED THAT APP!!!
Its BTW already there, but i want to share it with you guys!!
Q: What is it? A: its an app called "LGBrightnessPatcher"
Q: What it does? A: it restrict the system from getting brightness decreased, when slight heat.
Q: Require root? A: of course!
Q: Does it glue the brightness to 100%? A: No, you can adjust it from the brightness slider bar...
The app patches the brightness watcher and preventing it from changing the value when the screen gets 100% after an amount of time to let the device cool down, and not to get heat...
Other than that, the patching process would not take longer than 10 seconds!! and its totally safe!! i tested it myself!!
Instructions:
1. Root your device.
2. Install the app from the links down below.
3. Give root permission grant.
4. Touch on apply permanent patch.
5. Wait 5 seconds, got a toast massage?
6. Reboot.
7. Enjoy 100% brightness without limiting!!
Before download, let me thank the developer of the app, Tweakers and Optimizers who make that app possible!!
Its an genus app BTW!!!
Links, why? you'll find it in play store: LGBrightnessPatcher
Have a good day everyone! and get your G3 brighter, i mean stick at 100% all the time...
FEEDBACK guys, i tested it in LG G PAD V500, in stock 4.2.2 and 4.4.2, hope will work for the G3...
Press thank, rate...
15/04/2015: Looks like some folks have troubles installing the patch correctly, to fix the problem install busybox from play store.
Ha..

Did you recently modify anything else besides what you listed? Mine is fine. Get greenify and see how many apps are open in the background that could be slowing you down.
Run a different launcher could help. Also set your scaling to .5 or off under developer options.
Other than that your G3 will probably never be as snappy as your m8 was
try this, it helped me

Have you tried the secret menu? Dialpad 3845#*850#, scroll down to Thermal Daemon Mitigation OFF, click and it goes from false to true, automatically keeps your phone from throttling at a low clock speed, makes everything snappier. I don't know why LG thinks they have to throttle these phones.

I turn my data off at home because I'm on a 4g fringe area, no need in wasting battery mindlessly, plus I just switch to my tablet when I hit the door. At any rate my UI isn't sluggish when I pick up my phone and my battery life is just fine. Promoting a phone as having a 2.5ghz processor and throttling it to run much slower just to save some battery is dumb.

I'm perfectly happy with my battery life, just because I posted a pic and somebody got their jimmies rustled is no reason to derail this thread, it's about the sluggish UI. I'm not going to go messing around with the build prop when I can just toggle my data off and use WiFi when I feel like it.

Yeah, that's it. You have to be rooted and have SU permission.
It looks like and says it is MM, but like a reviewer said: "I wonder if the manufacturers will make it all work", for instance the new permissions dont work at all
Other than some cosmetic changes on settings, I didnt find any differences, at least it upgraded without spoiling my old settings, and it doesnt have significant problems
The overall look is the same as 5.0,. But there are new settings,. Doze when the phone is idle, it turns off unused apps so the don't run, better ram management,.. Etc,..

I had a similar issue with stock rooted lollipop. Nothing that I tried resolved - clearing data/cache, reloading OS from lg factory image. I ended up exchanging under mfg warranty. Thankfully the LGUP refurb option and factory image option replaced OS, recovery and even got rid of the message saying the bootloader was unlocked.
I ended up getting the carrier insurance on the refurb unit I just got back yesterday since this was a problem that plagues LG G4's. Many say the G4 has a mobo issue after a while. I'm hoping that I got a 1-off lemon and the durability of other v10's prove otherwise.
My wife's g4 has had 2 updates in 2 days, the manager at tmo only works Thursday-saturday, I'll be going back to find out what's going on.

Just got os update notification.. Gonna wait for a flashable way to install.
After about a year of changing settings, factory resetting this device, clearing cache.... I started to do my own research and doing my own tinkering with the device. I found that samsungs app optimization disables features in apps in order to consume battery consumption, but the truth is, it actually does the exact thing that makes your phone slow down or be sluggish when opening and closing/ restarting apps. I've been an android fan boy for quite some time and we all learn to realise that these are high powered devices that are being somewhat crippled by the makers "Samsung" being the worst.... but to make a long story short disable all app optimization and you'll see how wonderful this device is in its natural state...
