hello,
my friend bought blacklisted huawei p9 lite. so i've rooted it and none of expose framework apps to change imei seem to work. one of them changed imei but i still couldn't send text msges or make calls, but i could use internet. when i check imei using *#06# i could see changed imei but in settings about phone imei unknown. so i thought it didn't change it correctly, am i right. then ive tried using fastboot oem writeimei 123456789012347. but thease commands don't seem to work with huawei. even tho phone is being detected and commands that you normally ask to check is working fine. any help is appreciated.

Hi !
We do not provide support for changing the IMEI if has been blacklisted for unknown reasons to us. This is illegal.

I am in need of some help. I have a galaxy s7 that the efs files have been deleted, therefore, it wont connect to any network as well as unknown base band. when i type in *#06# mt imei number is null (all zeros). I have tried flashing stock firmware onto the device but that doesnt help. I dont know which combination binary software to install because i dont know the correct pda for the device. i am looking for any help to fix this problem.
note: i have another s7 with all the files i think i need, is there anyway to swap the files into the toher device and have it generate its original imei number ?

You need a backup of the efs folder of that device. If you never did one using a custom recovery like TWRP you are doomed. I believe that there are boxes like the Octopus one that, if you know the imei of the device they can flash that partition/folder and assign the device its imei once again. I don't know if the official service will be willing or able to fix the imei issue, I would suggest reaching out to them and ask.

Hello there, I got a Pixel 3 from one of my friends recently, after some days i reset the phone and suddenly SIM stopped working, when i checked the IMEI no. of my phone it was "004001520220002" this. But my original IMEI before reset was 99001200********. Now i had no idea what just happened with the IMEI. that new IMEI is blacklisted & hence i cant use the network on this, so i tried to recover my IMEI by using root method. After messing around with my device for a couple of days, i was successfully able to root the device and install Xposed Framework in order to change the IMEI no. I have changed my IMEI no back to its original but network is still no where to be seen in my phone. *#06# will tell me the old good IMEI but i am still unable to get signals on my phone. What should i do now ????? I am not an expert with the ROMs or modifying the OS. PLZZ HELP ME GETTING MY PHONE SIGNALS BAKC PLZZZZZ
How did you able to recover your imei, i'm going through the same thing, please share your procedure bro.
Howdy folks! I flashed a custom ROM to my device and discovered my IMEI is now 0. I tried flashing stock, and nothing has changed. I can still access the IMEI # through the barcodes in the bootloader. I have the SN Writer software and the APBP databases collection. I just don't know which one to use to move forward. Any help is much appreciated! I apologize in advance, I have searched and filtered trying to find the answer on here ,but to no avail!
