So, I've been using CM13 for my Galaxy Note but It kinda drains battery faster. I want to know how you can switch back to stock ROM without using Odin. I have a GT-N8000 Device if it helps and I'm using TWRP Recovery.
Only if you have saved a zipped format of your Nandroid backup .

Hi to all. Im new and i set custom rom (Hybrid 2.1) but now i want to restore the stock rom. But i dont know how. I stand i must use ODIN but all versions of ODIN gets the "Dont Send" message. How i can restore the stock rom ? Can with recovery mode? The phone is Samsung Galaxy Y 5360
Did you go to Download mode when you used ODIN?
Flash a stock rom, or next time make a backup before you upgrade or flash to a new rom. So if you don't like the new rom you can just flash your recovery and go back where you started from

i have creed's rom 3.0 now and i dont like it cause i backed up everything with titanium backup pro and now i dont like it cause its the same
is flash stock rom necessary?????is it possible without flash stock
and if i can remove the changes.....whats a data wipe on the reboot menu???
For going back to stock ROM you have to flash freshly.. Or else if you have made a back up of your stock ROM in clock work recovery., you can restore it as long as you are having the same kernel..

Just download the stock rom. You can probably find a zip file to flash from recovery or a tar file to flash with odin.
Did you make a backup?
Worst case you can read flash it or flash a different rom and be okay. Or restore your backup if you made one (you should always make a backup cause things sometimes go wrong. And it happens to us all

First of all, forgive my sluggishness as i didn't use TWRP to backup the previous rom and flash the new one.. I used clockworkmod..
So now other than having /0/ folder, i can't restore the backup because cwm recovery can't find it..
But apart from that im still fine with this aosp rom.. I was going to give it a try after all..
So what are my options? Is there a way to get cwm to read the backup?
Or, If that's not possible, if i flash twrp recovery then use it to cleanly flash a TW based rom, can it read the new storage format?
EDIT: i had the CWM backup copied to my SDcard, it restored fine now, carry on
Mod please close..

Hello everyone,
I want to know is there any external application for taking custom rom backup, because i have mess with my cwm recovery and i have also overwrite philz recovery.
So problem is whenever i put my phone to recovery its never turn on unless and untill i flash the any recovery image using Odin...
So currnuntly i dont know which recovery is there and now i want to take my backup of current rom
SO is there any application to take the backup???
My device is
Samsung Core GT-i8286
Cosmic rom
Why taking a Backup of your phone if you can't restore it with a custom recovery? Just download this App and a custom recovery image for your phone and flash it...

i meant to say whenever i take backup through third party app and then reseting phone's setting by applying stock rom and again custom rom then i install the recovery and restore that third party app backup..
but now problem is clear:good:
