Dear Friends,
I've recently bought the Sharp A1 (LeEco Inside) and everything was running smooth until it feel on the ground.
The front screen is brooken!
I look everywhere for a replacement...even with SHARP tawain but no luck. No even in Aliexpress or ebay....I don't find parts for this phone anywhere.
Can someone provide some help?

I have done all off that....
No luck at all.
It's quite strange the lack of parts for this phone. I'm guessing that "Sharp" only gave the brand...but the hardware is from someone else.
I've already found out that the phone has the following names:
-Sharp A1
-Sharp Z2
-Sharp Aquos Z2
or even
FS8002.
Neverthless....i don't find lcd/digitizer/screen for it.

i've contacted "Commtiva Technology, Limited", the owners of Sharp and the makers of this model of phone in taiwan. And they answered...please contact SHARP Portugal (where I live).
Sharp in Portugal, kindly answered...."Sorry, we can't help, because we don't sell Sharp smartphones...only printers, and copiers...bla bla bla".
any help with an original sharp a1 firmware,or another firmware that can be installed on it?? i have same phone for 5 months and it begins to freeze from time to time for about 1 second,reseted to factory and worked fine for 2 days,then during the call i was hearing the sound of notification as i received messages,but no message arrived.reset again,all ok for a day,then freeze again. reset and ok for 3 days, and now i hear the same notification sounds, for couple of times during on a call. i want to put another android version if i can. now i have on it 6.0. i've tried to root it with all programs,not a chance. pls help. thx

But when i boot to recovery, it is still stock recovery, not twrp.

I own a sharp (fs8002) and playing around with it i was trying to root it, unlock the BL and install twrp so i can finally install a custom rom.
With not much info about this low supported phone, i used SP FlashTool and managed to erase everything from it. It is not responsive at all, i don`t see fastboot anymore , no revocery no nothing. SP Flashtool identify the device once plugged as mediatek usb port (com9) but i can not find anywhere the necessary files to UNBRICK it so to make it usable once again!
Is there someone who can help me revive and use this two months old phone ?

The stock rom at the Taiwan website (see my earlier post!) is an update-package. It contains a scatter-file that is not suitable for the flashtool...maybe someone can help with that. My guess is that it just does not have the proper format for flashtool. So someone should check that. The firmware seems to be complete, it's 2.1 Gigabyte. I applied the package via update from SD, it works:

I managed to download the update firmware file from taiwan website (TSP-1360-0-00WW-A03-update.zip) witch is a 1.92 gb file , but as you said the scatter file contained there is not recognized by SP Flash tool.
Is there a way to make a scatter file for fs8002 with a MT6797 chipset so i can proceed with the flashing ?

I managed to unlock bootloader, flashed a wrong recovery image and accidentally formatted bootloader and everything. The phone is not responding and i am unable to find anywhere the stock rom to flash it via SP Flash tool

I got 'open port' error in miraclebox at first but it was solved after installing virtual serial port driver

It works for me very well, even my smj701d was not shown in the list from miracle box. I choose a similary one and
when done my bootloader option was visible.
Guess everyone can try it too, i really guess there is nothing can happen.

You managed to bypass rmm state prenormal? If so, please tell us how!
For those interested, this is exactly engineering rom, with added modified patched boot, so it is rooted with magisk. v23
This is the detailed install procedure:
You need to download the following:
1. YU_Yutopia_YU5050_V1_24.12.15 rom, link give below.
2. Qfil tools
3. Qualcomm driver.
How to Flash:1. Extract All Files From Zip File.,
2. Install Qualcome drivers (search through the web), Install QPST Tool and Run Qfil.exe File
3. Select the flat build option after the tool is open
4 . After that click on the select programmer’s path to browse and select the file “prog_emmc_firehose_8xxx.mbn”.
5. Then click on load.xml and select the “rawprogram0” file.
6. Then select the file patch0.
7. After selecting all the files with the flash tool, the phone has to be connected to the tool
8. For that, turn off the phone and press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.
9. And then connect the data cable with the phone
10. After connecting, click on the select port in the tool and select Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
11. Then click on the download button.
12. Keep the up and down buuton pressed until start downloading some files, the you can remove you fingers.
13. Wait until flashing finishes.
14. After First boot download Magisk apk, (I ve downloaded magisk v23, & its working perfectly).
No need to flash GAPP, its already present. Infact, the bootloader is locked & dont know how to unlock it, there is no option in developer mode to enable unlocking it. The rom is fast, not laggy, battery discharge is very good.

No it will not nullify imei numbers, but it is safer to back up your imei (although i did not, and i have no problem with imei no.) As it is rooted already, you can do whatever you want. the only problem with this rom is that I could not unlock bootloader.

Sir please please can u give me an easy procedure to restore or change (qcn) IMEI number if something goes wrong..cause i tried to repair imei of yu4711 through shell terminal but unable to do so without super su....

I used mobile unkle tools, I had lost my imei on another phone, and I could retain my imei using that tools easily. so if you take a picture shot or write down your number, you can rewrite it again. I dont write my imei no, because i had it on my phone box already written.

I dont know. The most important thing for me is root, wether its magisk or supersu.
with this rom, my battery issues become much better, it can withstand a good period of time, the rom is smooth.

Once again you proved it bro. Amazing job will test now and confirm.
Working perfectly tested and rooted. Steps are easy to follow.
1) Download the ENG firmware and flash it following the steps.
2) Then follow this post and the commands to extract asuskey4 and add ISN to the asuskey4.
3) Flash WW ROM back to the phone.
4) Use Unlock tool and then done.

You can see SSN on our phone when you boot up ENG firmware just type urself to the editor.
Find the address mentioned and start typing from first 0 u will see the HEX changing and then verify it's correct and save

Can you check if your phone is being recognized as EDL maybe the drivers are installed wrong. I can verify that the files provided works 100% and you have to use left side type c of the Asus not the bottom.

SSN can be seen on the homepage of the mobile phone after flashing the ENG firmware, or on the packaging box of your mobile phone.

My ROG5 is being shown in Device Manager as Qualcomm 9008. So I guess it has entered in EDL mode.

Could you reinstall the drivers I have faced issues like this before with other Qualcomm devices. Reinstall Qualcomm drivers it should work. And remember to install with disable signature enforcement.

Appreciate your response mate! I will try again after reinstalling QCOM drivers. Could you please share that driver you are using?
Also, my PC does NOT detect ROG5 when using the official USB-C on both end cable. I have to use another cable with USB in one end and USB-C in the other end. Do you think that might be an issue?

The asuskey4 should contain SSN and ISN then only it will unlock. Make sure it's there and how come you lost your IMEI I tried this for 2 separate devices and I didn't face any issue.
Hello friends, new user and noob here.
I came to this forum thanks to a thread of user @Warlockguitarman who explains how to root/unlock LG phones in general.
My problem is that I tried to downgrade this phone to unlock the GSM carrier (original MetroPCS) using LGUP and an old firmware of the carrier, and the downgrade worked, but the unlocker tool didn't work with that firmware, so I tried again with the oldest firmware I could find (10F) and well, the phone became a nice little brick since then.
Working with different solutions, and thanks to the tutorial by @Warlockguitarman I somewhat make some progress, and now the device is recognized as Mediatek without the connect/disconnect status and I can use SP Flash Tool.
The thing is I don't have anything to work with. I found a scatter file alledgly for K51, but it didn't work.
Maybe some user here have scatter from a backup to try to revive this thing?

Unbricking isn't so difficult.
Since the device now gets detected in BROM Mode (Mediatek USB Port), the next thing is to build a scatter file from your extracted kdz then go the SP flash tool + MTK Bypass route or just use MTK Client
Building a scatter is a little beyond my experience.
Is there any guide or tutorial to learn how to do it?
