Heating and shutdown problem of not the problem of software or android system I have already facing the same problem since one year and regularly checking to fix the cause and now I have diagnose the cause it is battery problem or heat sensing hardware of the phone .
SOLUTION IS VERY SIMLE THAT OPEN THE BACK COVER REMOVE THE BATTERY AND BATTERY HAVE THREE CONNECTION POINTS BY SOME PIECE OF PAPER MASK THE MIDDLE POINE AND FIT THE BATTERY IN THE PHONE AND YOU NEVER FIND THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM.
BUT BEFORE CHARGING YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE MASK ON MIDLE PIN OF THE BATTERY .
THATS IT

Guys! We all know that MMX SC are pathetic and they make us pathetic in front of everyone...
My case has gone beyond limits...
As my phone touch had stopped working I gave it to MMC here in Hyd...
Today I got my cell phone from SC after 3 and a half months...
I will never ever buy MMX device ever again...
Fine bros, leave my pathetic story behind, and as you may know when we submit our phone in SC they give our battery back to us so it stays with us...
So my battery stayed idle for that period. And now it is behaving so weird that when it is at 100 it doesn't drop at all and after some time of use it drops suddenly to 50% at this moment phone restarts. after some time like half an our or so it will drop again to 20% and restarts. Again after some time it drops to 0% and doesn't switch on at all. after ten minutes it starts and shows 50%.
I know it is Batter calibration problem, so i request one of you who feels their battery performance is good to provide me the file "batterstats.bin"which you can pull out from "data\system\batterstats.bin ".
I tried battery calibration processes and non of them work and mysteriously my phone lost that file. So i feel it is the reason for my problem..
Thank you guys.

Just wipe Battery Cache from CWM....Itll rebuild the stats itself... Dont use another device's stats.... Its nothing but stats...Wont increase battery Power

I did wipe battery cache, and It didn't create battery stats file...
Using the stats file from the same brand is not gonna effect the rom in any way, can't understand the reason why i shouldn't with my experience...
When we talk about calibration its all about stats dude, nevertheless to say they are very important, that is the reason why they kept "batterstats.bin".
Even if we wipe, so that device creates new one, it takes few battery cycles to fill up the optimized stats, hope you understand, after using the provided batterystats.bin my device's stats are pretty stable..
So silly that you were raising the point of "raising the battery power", If you have read my post, you would have already found out that I was never expecting to raise battery power by just replacing the mere stats... It is all about calibration so it is all about stats...
Any way thanks for your inputs...
I have lost touch too . Will go to mmx svc on Thursday . I month warranty left . Second time my phone having problems . First time speaker problem. In call speaker . Now touch problem . Never mediatek chinese crap again ever . Back to my Nokia c7 and Samsung s3 .

In most cases it's a batterie's hardware problem. Simply speaking it's time to buy a new one.
Modern batterys doesn't need any calibration.
You may do a couple of full charge - recharge cycles but probably it will not help (according to my expirience)
Try Battery Doctor to charge it. Check if the battery is pregnant (!).

You reduce your startups apps using Autostarts..
Hello I found out recently that my battery temperature is 29 to 37 degrees. Is it normal? The phone heats up only if I surf the net or open apps. Is it because of the battery getting old ?
kernal problem

it happens mostly in old kernel and using jb 4.1
try installing new kernel or rom 4.2:good:
thank me if it was useful
Heating problem..
It may be because of the battery getting old..But most probably its a proble with your kernal..Try another kernal,a newer one..

Probably your battery is the problem because of the impact, replace your battery and see if that work

Before trying to buy something you may not need, between the moment of you're dropped your phone, sur that there is anything else ?
If you havn't too much data try hard reset, i've yet dropped my phone too many time and i had never this prob, luck maybe but check hard reset before.
Check Greenify too before to buying something ^^
Use battery calibration app. It might help you.
Hi all. I have recently updated my system to android pie. and after that whenever I charge my phone, its battery tempreture rises as high as 48 degree (ofcourse I stop charging at this time so dont know if it will rise further or not.)
I am not sure if any body is facing same issue.
Please help me if anybody know the reason and the solution to heating problem.
Edit :- There is no heating problem playing highend games like pubg, asphalt 8

Did you reset your phone after update. If not I would suggest you to do this first and check it.
Is it really necessary to reset the device? Cause it will take much time to backup and restore

To outrule any hardware issues it's necessary.
By using Huawei backup tool you can back up everything.
After major upgrades there are chances of such issues . In most of the cases soft reset solves the problem.
I formatted my device cleared cache partition but the problem is still there,
Device gets hot while charging after pie update. Now it gets hot even when you play pubg.
I dont know if anybody else has faced this issue but there are no discussion or solution for this thing over the web.
Edit :- The device gets hot on the upper part of it so I am sure its not battery its processor who is getting hot. possible reason could be the kernal. but I dont know how to resolve it as I am not rooted and neither want to root it.
cpu monitor shows cpu tempreture to 37 degree celcius and battery temperature to 42 degree celcius

Honor increased the charging speed even with the quick charger (9V/2A) that was included in the box in the India variant to reach charging speeds of the super charger (5V/4.5A). Previously on EMUI 8.0 I used to see around 2A as the charging current in the 'Ampere' app. Now with EMUI 9.0 I see it goes all the way to 3.2A. This is why the phone gets so hot.
You could switch to using a slower charger (5V/2A) to bring down the charging temperature a lot. Use the quick charger only if you're in a hurry.
Cheers,
Anish
