hey, anyone of you know how to disable the tapping on the screen today items?
i mean when i tap on the item, it won't open up the application.
it really annoys me~~
i think not possible & moreover if it was as u said then why anybody would buy touch screen.if u face problem then why not try lock/unlock device

i know, i didn't mean to disable the tapping.
i just want to tap on the items on the today's screen, it won't open the corresponding applications. the star menu and the left + right buttons are still tap-able~~ and of course, the whole screen is tap-able

Yesterday i dont know how but the alignment of my screen got moved, when i tap on start menu item below it opens and same is with whole screen tap somewhere and something else opens most probably the item below.
Can anybody please help me aligning the screen?
I tried reinstalling the rom 6.5, 6.1 but no success instead after installation the screen alignment becomes the nightmare i just have to tap 100times again and again to bypass the screen alignment process.
and if anybody has pdal can you please give your CalibrationData

Does anyone know how to change the bottom soft bar , everyones phones that i see pictures of says at the bottom menu on the right and camer on the left and it has like a square around it and their not that far spread apart. Pleas give me the download to to it thank u so so much

If I know witch one you meant perhaps I was able to help you but don't know witch start buttons you search!
im sorry im new at this thread dill and the other day i posted two thread about that sprint evo thing i apologize, any ways is like on the bottom bar right above the send key home key back key and end key like i have changed my left soft key on the bottom but i like the block look that i see on everyone phones

Think he means winmo 6.5x too tired to explain,someone help the guy out
Older version of winmo6.5 have start icon on top left, newer ones have it on a bottom bar, so is the ok button and all the others. Is this what you are trying to say?
No way to change it unless you flash a new rom.
No way to flash a new rom without HSPL.

Yeah I'm guessing he is talking about 6.5X v 6.5 as well.
If your start menu is in the upper left corner of your screen you have 6.5
If you have the start menu in the lower left corner of your screen you have 6.5x.
While they are pretty much the same operating system, they are very much different.
It is possible to change the top and bottom bars with a cab, but it is not possible to put the 6.5x soft bar on the 6.5 op system or visa versa.

What phone do you have?
What windows version? 6.5xxx or 6.5 or ?
What ROM Version?
You can find all this in your settings under About Phone...Software Information

The supposedly more stable "COM2"/6.5 builds are what your phone's OS is from.
There are a different branch, "COM5"/6.5.x, which offer a more finger-friendly User Interface and have a different layout (start button is on bottom left corner on a taller bottom bar).
The link you provided, however, is for 6.5 builds and does work for your phone. Maybe you need to go into Start>Settings>Home and change the theme there.
I don't customise the graphics that much on my phone so I'm not sure if that's all that's necessary or if that's the correct method but it shouldn't hurt to try

go to settings/today and change your theme to HTC Black

It's there just need to do another step to get it to show up...
Go to Settings/menu-All settings/today.
Pic a wall paper and then touch OK.
then go back to Today, and select T-moble (or your default paper). then close it out to your today screen. The soft bar should be there now.

it wont come up? i did everything you said a couple times but nothing changed...
how to re align the screen in WAD application because if i press in upper right in my screen in WAD hoping that it will pop.up the option on the screen that ive pressed but somehow the pop.up will show somewhere but not in the screen where i press its like when i steady pressing the upper right the pop.up will go in the middle, or upper left something like that..
but in any application my screen is GOOD only in WAD s*cks

Has anyone mastered how to use palmswipe effectively? I've spent ages trying to get a good screenshot but often my palm opens up apps it touches, opens the edge screen or selects random items instead of taking a screenshot. I find let to right more accurate but I just cant get that screenshot when needed
Maybe I'm doing it wrong or missing something - any help/advice will be muchly appreciated
I just use the side of my pinkie finger in the middle of the screen. I had issues too as trying to palm swipe would cause the screen to scroll around or swipe to the next image or page.

That works a dream - I was always starting right from the edge of the screen but starting from the middle of the screen is much better.

I find its much easier to use power button and volume down button simultaneously .

Swipe left to right using the edge of your pinkie+palm.
