I have an android tablet with the model no. BDF and android version 4.4.2. A wrong rom for another product from the manufacturer was sent to me and it's making the tablet to malfunction. The tablet now have the no. Q8H. The wifi, Bluetooth, flashlight are no longer working. The internal memory which used to show 15gb is now showing 8gb and dual core instead of quad core.
I just want to root the tablet and install a custom rom to restore and free my tablet but I don't actually know the right rom to use.
Please, I need help in getting the right rom, Thanks.

I am a newbie yet I have flashed some roms from sdcard before, but I am a total NEWBIE!
For some taxing issues they imported Tab 2 a7 30 to Turkey with a "H" code at the end and they cropped calling feature from it.
However I do not care about "calling" but I want to have android lolipop on my device. On Lenovo support site it says it must have the update after July, I can not give link as forbidden before 10 messages.
yet my device says it is the updated version (has definitely 4.4.2 on it I'm newbie not dumb).
I know that there is this flashing by PC (needs drivers and sp flash tool and rom) and also sdcard method that directly installs rom from sd card (needs different rom I guess and deleting caches needed).
So, how would I upgrade, do I need to make it 30HC kitkat to upgrade, how, will it keep its own IMEI then?
any help?

Hey, I have a question. Are Lenovo Tab 2 A7 30 and A7 30H the same? Cos I'm super confused.
I have a tablet that is branded by a small company, it came free with a subscription. It is a 2016 8" android tablet at v5.1.1, it starts up with their logo and apps installed.
I want to remove this and install a stock normal version of Android, I understand this is the site to find ROMs but for specific devices. Problem is I don't think this is any known device and is custom specced and built by this company.
Is there a ROM I can use for this tablet? or is there any details I can give so we can narrow down a suitable ROM?
Thanks
I have an older model tablet an Asus EP121. Even running windows 10 it just doesn't have the power or memory to really do anything. I have been looking into the possibility of using this device for a rooted android rom but have no idea if the hardware can even support android. Has anyone had any luck with this unit and can it run android ?
I want to install special Android version: Android 9 Pie GO because it has lower requirements 512 MB of RAM . My phone has 1GB of RAM but problem is I don't see option how to do that.
My phone: Medion E4503 doesn't seem to be supported on twrp website for making recovery point first. I don't see it under devices. I heard this phone may just be rebrand of Lenovo phone (dunno which one ) but I have no way of telling which Lenovo version may work if at all. And that is just pre- install part. Then I also don't see where to find custom ROM for this device. I only see bunch of other ROMs for other phones. I have Android 5.0 and banking application now require Android 6.0+ . I do not want to buy new phone just for that because I rarely use phone at all.
Hello all, this is my first post.
I have joined the site because I am looking for help with an unbranded tablet that I have.
I would like to use this tablet as a very basic wall mounted control point for google home, in order to control my smart lights and other smart devices.
However, the tablet is old and has an old version of android. Subsequently it appears that google home cannot be installed on it.
It will also not update to a newer version, potentially because the 'firmware' is unsupported? I am unsure because this is all very new to me.
Because the tablet doesn't appear to have a 'brand', I am struggling to find any support or step by step instructions.
I know very little about 'flashing, roms, rooting etc., however I have managed to root it through kingo, but don't know what needs to happen next.
The device info is:
Model: N98
Allwinner A33 quadcore,
Android 4.4.2 (kitkat?)
Firmware: V2.0
Kernal ver' 3.4.39
Build number: astar_y3-eng 4.4.2 KVT49L 20151208 test-keys
I've also included a couple of photos of its motherboard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and what steps I need to take just to get google home up and running on it,
thank you very much in advance
