[Q] Invoke SD card mode without Samsung anyway jig? (GT-N800) - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys i was wondering if there was a way to get to SD Card mode without the samsung anyway jig? By the looks of it my tab's emmc got damaged (superbrick?) so I cant flash using ODIN and i cant enter recovery but a few sources say that getting the tablet to boot off an SD card using the anyway jig to put the device in SD card mode should do the trick. Only problem is I can't find these jigs anywhere and they say only the service centers have them. I'd rather do this by myself tho than send it in
Any help would be appreciated and thanks!

have you tried to flash from your pc?
make sure the card is formatted as fat32, and also try a different sd card, some card are not compatible
yes i can flash from my pc through active sync... but since i dont have a ups, flashing through pc is the last option.. since im scared bricking my phone in case of power failure.
i will try formatting the sd to fat32... but the thing is i had tried the same sd card and had flashed successfully 5-6 times... cant figure out what happend all of a sudden...

Is your phone rooted? If so boot into recovery mode then go to advance and mount USB and then plug phone into pc and see if your pc is bening detected.
Is this your 1st time that your phone is doing thing this?
Other half I would say if you do not have the drivers from HTC then down load them from HTC for your inspire
Or what you can do is if you have the sd card adapter take out the micro sd card out and load to the pc with card reader and format it but do keep in mind you will lose everything if all the above do NOT work it will be a lose if you have to go that route this happen to me once so.if you can't get your pc to read the card with sd card adapter could be that your micro card is bad some how

havent tried connecting it with any other pc yet. im not able to do any update because its greyed out and the way to update is by htc sync my phone is running 2.3.3 sense 2.1
my problem is somehow related to this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1247351
but it hasnt been resolved yet, how am i gonna be able to do adb when my sdcard is not mounted when it is
Damn thats crappy.. (im sure you know this by now lol) like I said before this happen to me but what I did was boot into recovery by the vol down and power method and once I did get into recovery I selected mounts and usb and plug in my phone and BAM! detected and was able to access the sd card and REMOVE THE PD98IMG file that kept my phone from booting up..
Honestly I would try plugging your phone into another port of your pc that your using or go to another pc and try it something that does not have the htc drivers and if not install them and remove htc sync driver once you get them there is 3 drivers you get keep the other 2 but uninstall the sync..
All that info from that link you posted and what your telling is like 99.9% same issues I had a few months back.
But also like I said do you have the sd card adapter for the micro sd card? if so then try just plugging the sd card in the pc and see if you can access the sd card files and if you do have that PD98IMG delete it.
Once you do so that should clear up and bootloops..
By chance when you were flashing a rom while in recovery, did you flash a rom and flash a kernel? Because I did that once back to back where I flash a rom and with out it booting up for the 1st time it just sat there looping because I flashed the kernel right after I flash the rom.. If you did that just wipe everything and flash again flash the rom boot 1st time then flash kernel.. I know this may not have much info to you request hahah
just thank me for any help that I provide means a lot..

ok..heres a dumb question..well, maybe... if u go to advanced and it says unmounted...is it unmounted or not? or if it says mount is it mounted? in other words, whatever the screen says that its on, is what is on , right? cuz i did just that, and its still not recognizing my sd card.

[Q] Samsung i9105p completly bricked

Hello,
Yesterday I wanted to partition my SD card for my Samsung Galaxy S II Plus (i9105p). And I followed those steps on a website (sorry, I'm new on this forum, I can't post the link... Googled "How to manually partition your SD card for Android Apps2SD" and go in the first website).
On this website, I used Android Device Bridge (ADB). (Step 1: in ADB, I wrote "adb shell". Step2: "parted /dev/block/mmcblk0". Step3: "print". Step4: "rm 1", "rm 2"...).
I think that I did a very very very bad thing in step 4. I removed all the partitions of my internal memory (including the SYSTEM).
I followed all steps. At the end, I push the Power button to select "Reboot your system". And the screen became black and then nothing !
My phone can't power on. I can't go into recovery mode. I can't go into download mode. My phone is not detected in my computer !
So my phone is completly bricked !!
Before doing this, I had Cyanogenmod 11 thanks to the post :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2-plus/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-11-t2800254
Please tell me that there is a solution.
Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for replying.
I didn't know the usb jig. When I googled it I found that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/ref-usb-jig-faq-frequently-questions-t1402286
I think that it's only for the Samsung Galaxy S2 (but I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus (i9105P)).
And, according to this website, it solved only soft bricked phones. However, my phone is hard bricked, and maybe worse (if it's possible...) !
Indeed, I think that I completely removed the OS (since I removed all the partitions !) and it cannot boot !
Are you sure that it can solve my problem (before I buy it) ?
My phone had at the beginning 8GB.
Is there a way to boot the phone on a SD card ? (I have 8GB on it)
If there is, can you explain me how to do it step by step (I'm a newbie, I don't understand everything sorry).
Thank you again.
Usb jig works every Samsung phones. Usb jig can safe your hard bricked phone too.
When u put jig in, ur phone boots to download mode and you are able download Stock firmware to your phone.
I am not completely sure if it will help. If the download mode stuff is also stored on the mmc chip, how could it boot to download mode then?

I agree with you. I don't know how it could work if I deleted everything...
So is it possible to boot on an SD card ? and how?

No even your bootloader is erased(at least I think so). And even if you can boot to anything, your efs partition is wiped and things like radio, bluetooth, wifi may not work anymore
