On lollipop when I work with my mobile and a call came in I can swipe left or right to hide the call banner... That was a useful feature indeed... But with latest marshmallow update I cannot hide the incoming call banner by swiping it left or right... Any ways to enable that option?

Aside from Dashclock, any other way to get access to notifications?
I'd prefer to have a swipe down gesture ala iOS access to notifications.
Huh? You just swipe down from the top and your notifications are there.
What is this iOS you speak of?

That only works if your lock method is "Slide". If you have any form of password/pattern, then the notification shade is blocked as a security feature.
Speaking of which, if the OP wants that functionality, then either they need to set security to "slide", or if they still want slide notification AND password lock, then it kind of defeats the point...
Besides, dashclock doesn't really show much until you slide downwards to display the full list anyway so it's already sort of along the right lines!
May want to give this a spin; the option for displaying notifications on the lockscreen is pretty handy.

I use LockerPro Lockscreen. Banner notifications are similar to iOS and you can choose to use the banner notifications even while using the phone normally as well, which is cool if you use immersive or expanded desktop mode. Also has ability to add your own shortcuts/apps/widgets and then your whole app drawer as well.
Xposed with "notifcation mod" module does exactly that. Allow you to pull down the notification shade and even respond to the notification if the notification supports it. If the action requires additional user input then the pin screen is presented before the user is allowed to proceed. Works awesome and since it still forces PIN entry, I think very secure. Not private, but secure.

Can I chose which notifications will be displayed of note edge curved screen.i don't want my what's app and Facebook notifications on it .can I turn them off?
If you are talking about missed notifications, tap the little tick box on the top of the Briefing Panel, the one with the weather. It will take you to the Edit Briefing Panel settings where you can choose which apps you want the missed notifications from.
On your side panel at the bottom is a ^ swipe it up and click the gear icon. Go to manage panels then look for the panel with missed call and missed message icons. Mine has a missed call with a 2 below it and an envelope icon with a number 6. Right below that you will see a pencil icon, click it then that will take you to a list of what notifications will show up. Find the ones you want and check the box. Uncheck the boxes you don't want to show up.
Hello guys,
In my old phones, when an SMS comes in, I slide down the notification panel, I can see the entire content of the message.
But in the Mate 9, I can only see the first two lines.
Problem is when using my banking app. When I request TAC, it comes as SMS the moment I switch to the message app to get the code, the banking app automatically logs out (that is how it has been programmed for security purposes). The banking app also doesn't allow split-screen.
Is there a way to get the notification show the entire message when I swipe down the notification panel?
Thanks
Have you tried swiping down the notification panel with one finger to open it, then using a two-finger swipe-down on the sms notification itself?

Just tried. Didn't work.
Thanks for the tip.
It seems that there is no way to get the notification show the entire message when we swipe down the notification panel.
I think it is maybe by design for security purposes.
It doesn't seem like it's for security if it's still showing the first line. I've had no luck replacing the default messaging app with Signal, either, which should have fixed this problem -- the phone lets me change the default, but then I stop getting any SMS messages at all until I change it back.
Cannot use the phone while I'm getting a call is the a Zen ui bug or can this be changed in settings?
asus don't want you to miss a call
When I got a call there was just a floating notification bar on the top of the screen showing the name of the caller and accept and decline buttons but no full screen blocking message

Just tap home button to open your home screen. You can return to ongoing call screen by its notification.
Hey everyone. First I want to say I hope everyone is hanging in there during this very tough time. I'm having a problem with my Note 10. It's on Tmobile and I bought it from Tmobile. It's 100% stock and I've done usual updates from Tmobile OTA. I have recently seen that my missed calls do not show in my notification panel. If I pull the notification panel down into extended view, missed call icon is not showing there either. If I go to the Phone app and tap on recents I CAN there see missed calls. This is causing a major issue for me. Can anyone help? I also have gone to settings -> notifications -> phone and show notifications is grayed out.. but it's grayed out in the ON position. Also missed calls, voicemails are also grayed out in the same phone panel.. but in the on position. I'm really confused what is going on. I just want the missed phone icon to show in my notification panel because I often have my sound off. Any help would be great thanks!
