Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [noob friendly]full root and recovery installation[tutorial]. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
first of all, thank you for posting this tutorial. I cant continue the installation because flashtool show me "Your device bootloader cannot be officially unlocked". i know only version D2203 can be officially unlocked. I am doing something wrong ?
PS: you said "ESPECIALLY FOR MODEL D2202 and D2212. "
I heard that some D2203 models have this problem. This method successfully works for D2202 & D2212.what's your firmware version?

Could someone confirm if it really works in the E2243 model ?
I'm noob and I am afraid of performing the procedure and brick my phone.
I really need root because this model ( D2243 ) only has 2GB of internal storage .
I saw this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58115875&postcount=222
But i'm very afraid to do the procedures.

Init.d support?
Hi,
The described steps worked fine 3 times for me (bricked for another reason ) on my D2212 Dual (Brazil). Now I am having a hard time to achieve a working init.d. Did try "universal init.d" and "init.d toggler" and none worked. Looking for flasheable zips found none E3 specific and so I didn't risk (yet).
Thanks!

So, since I've unlocked my bootloader to root I won't be getting updates from Sony. Checking XperiFirm there are two Brazil customized roms, one still on 4.4.2 (18.4.B.2.14/R5B) which I've used, the other missing files from Sony (18.4.B.2.14/R4B) and no US/intl there.
Any tip where can I find a 4.4.4 to flash?
DRM keys?
Brother What about DRM Keys?

I dont know whether your problem has been solved or not, I just try to help you and others who may have similar issue.
Installing flashtool driver in windows 8/8.1 need to disable driver signature in the computer setting:
Go to Settings
1.) Change PC Settings
2.) General
3.) Scroll down to Advanced Startup > Restart Now
4.) Trouble shoot
5.) Advanced options
6.) Windows startup options
7.) Restart
8.) Press F7
9.) Reboot
Now you can install the driver

why you make a thread? why you send private messages and why you make posts in various threads?
5 sconds of searching is too much for you?
here is the thread about mobile upgrade Q (you need a PC with windows ) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/help/recover-bricked-idol-3-5-5-4-7-variants-t3288811
repartition thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/development/6039y-guide-repartitioning-internal-t3176061
If you dont have windows, get one, or go to thread starting with 6039 (your device) maybe someone will upload a firmware for you (but you have to get region specific, because (for example) Spain 6039y dont have Czech language included.
Europe 6039y sorry

If you only want root, there is a pre-rooted firmware here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-tablet-compact/general/sgp611-sony-xperia-z3tc-t3219173
There is also an excellent guide here on how to root your device

why not let the experts there guide you? We are a friendly bunch at xda
Good Luck
