Last week my LG G3 started acting up. after being up for a few minutes the device would freeze. pressing the power button will turn the screen on, however nothing was working, as if the system was frozen.
So I got my self a LG G4 and suddenly out of nowhere this morning my G4 started doing the same... And the only fix is to remove the battery.
BTW nether was Rooted or modded in any way.
Anyone else have the same issue? Has anyone been able to fix it?
Thank you!

Haven't found any good solid information on my problem so hopefully someone who has some advice can assist and others in my situation won't have trouble finding help.
My HTC Fuze was working fine with a decent charge and I went out and didn't use it again until the next morning. I woke up and it was completely dead. Wouldn't turn on or do anything even after battery pulled. I left the battery out and waited overnight; then charged it up.
It now turned on and got to the home screen (sweet...) except that it immediately rebooted and continued this loop of getting to the home screen and then rebooting.
I'm now in this cycle loop where it just keeps going... so I figured hard reset time, except that holding the bottom volume and enter and hitting the soft reset button, nothing happens at all. So I'm asking now what can I do. I've opened the phone to manually press in the soft reset while trying the hard reset and its still not working.
HTC reboot loops are common and there's tons of information on them, however, I haven't found a solution to this problem. Maybe there is no solution? :-/
I'm using one of the NATF series 5 roms on the device and its been fine for over a year.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Edit: I was able to hard reset now the damn thing is reboot cycling the "preparing phone for first use" screen. Looks like the phone gets 30 seconds and then just kills itself. This is driving me insane
Ok, this happened today afternoon. I was just randomly using my phone and suddenly the phone restarted, and within the time the phone could connect to signal, it restarted again. Then later when i am abt to lock the screen, a feather touch on the power button locked it. And this is happening everytime now. I thought i screwed up the button. But the button feel is the same as it used to be before, no problem at all of being stuck. Took it to the lg service center, he did not even touch my phone. When i explained him the problem he said, i will have to change the board completely as the button is connected to the board.
Any suggestions?
P.S: I live in India and my phone just updated to 4.4.4 yesterday.

Let LG fix your phone under warranty or buy a new power switch and replace it by yourselfe. if you do that you will lose your warranty and you also need mad soldering skills.
Hello geniuses!
I have a problem. I recently purchased a LG G3 unlocked from a seller on Swappa and the device appears to work however there is a funny glitch i recently discovered about this phone. Maybe its mine only. But heres what happens....
I boot into phone like normal, after a days use, and sometimes when preparing to switch cases and what not, i shut down the phone remove battery and clean the device sometimes.. I notice that if the phone is ON, and when i choose Reboot, The phone reboots fine. But if i choose POWER OFF.
The phone powers off, and when i try to boot it back up again, it doesnt let me, it just stays blank.. But the second i take out the battery, place it back in, and then push the power button once, it powers on fine.. What on earth is happening here?..... any idea? Please help.

have you found any solution for this problem?
I am experiencing same
I just got the moto g
I had updated to marshmallow just after opening the box.
It's the second day of the device and the display just turned black all of a sudden. On screen buttons gone too.
I pressed the power button and the screen turned off. When i turned the screen on again after 5 secs the screen turned black again.
I turned the screen off and on again.
This time the screen kept blinking. It didn't turn off just the contents of the screen kept blinking.
After I rebooted the phone, the issue disappeared.
I'm not sure if it is a software bug that happened or early signs of some hardware issue. I still have the 30 days for replacement.
Rest of the device is working fine.
Has anyone found the same issue?
I am using stock software, no root.
Yes brand new stock moto g updated to m and had the exact same issue, it's happened once a day so far to me (I'm on day three of owning the phone) A reboot fixes it but it's annoy I don't want to have to reboot the device all the time. I can see it being annoying trying to get the device swapped because when I wipe the device to give it back to the shop it will be working fine :-\
It just seems to happen randomly, nothing to do with a certain app I don't think, I can't replicte it when I try to figure out the cause of it.
Hello, Nexus 5 forums. This is my first post on here, because I never even tried to root or install a custom ROM on my Nexus 5, having bought it for the official updates from Google and all that stuff (I had a Galaxy SII before this phone, and I frequently visited the XdaDev GSII forums because I installed CyanoGenMod on it).
I'll go straight to the point. My phone suddenly started rebooting randomly today, and by the end of the day it was stuck in a weird kind of bootloop. The Google logo would pop up, and right as the MM boot animation started the phone would reboot and the Google logo would show up. Right now, the phone's battery is probably dry, so that's why the phone isn't bootlooping, but it has done so for 3-4 hours before shutting down. I tried opening the phone, removing the battery and putting it back in, but the phone just kept bootlooping. I tried both getting into the stock recovery and into download mode, but the phone keeps on rebooting as soon as I get into download mode.
Can I do anything to fix this or is my phone doomed to the eternal bootloop?
Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
Sounds like there may be a problem with the power button.
Same thing happened to me like 5 times now. It is the power button. What I do is knock it on the side of a table below the power button. I just need it to last until the new nexus is released, so I never investigated the proper fix.
I understand, so my problem is more a hardware than a software issue. I tried knocking the phone on the side of a table like @NicksSpleen said, but maybe my problem is more serious. What can I do to fix this? I need it to last until Christmas, as I'm going to get a new phone then (maybe the Nexus Sailfish, if the price is acceptable).
EDIT: Double post.
I disassembled my phone and fixed the problem by cleaning the power button. Works like a charm. Thanks for all your suggestions!
Anything other than the power button?
