Hey ladies and gentlemen,
I am having a serious problem. I tried to root my Honor 6 (H60-L04). After installing Super User via TWRP my smartphone started a bootloop. After I waited a few hours it turned off and I tried to reload it for booting into the download mode (to flash a new firmware via Honor MultiTool). But it still showed me that there is an empty battery and didn't start. How can I unbrick it?
Thanks

do u have solution for this??
To install a full stock firmware follow these steps, if the phone is not booting in bootloader mode try doing this: After a loop gets complete, quickly press Vol UP button and connect the phone to PC, you'll be in bootloader mode.
Download your latest firmware and extract system.img, boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img from UPDATE.APP using Huawei Update Extractor tool.
Flash recovery first, using this command.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Flash all other extracted files similarly firing these commands.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
After doing this put that very UPDATE.APP from which you extracted the files in dload folder of your external SDCARD.
Switch off your phone, and press Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button simultaneously.
Your device will now get to the full stock firmware.
I had a similar problem with mine when updating to EMUI 4. What I did was:
- Hold Volume Down while rebooting and Connect USB. It should boot into Bootload mode.
- If you get the Error Screen, reboot the Phone.
- If it doesn't work, hold all three buttons. It should reset the phone.
This actually reset my phone and made it work again. Don't ask me why or how.
You should Unbrick with Honor Multitool. You get to still have your data intact when you do only the first step without the 3 button install. If you don't have a TWRP backup that is. Don't ever install SU or root from TWRP. Use KingRoot or Multitool

If the device is rooted then you'll get install failed when doing three button reset, hence the manual flashing is needed.
The three button reset also fails, if in anyway your system is modified.

Well, my system was modified, and after doing that Three-Button reset twice, it actually worked.
Don't ask me why, it just worked. And I'm actually glad it did haha.

Good for you then, maybe the UPDATE.APP adjusted itself.

I'm just happy that my phone is working now.
Yes, sometimes Android does things which we can't understand(or maybe we don't have enough knowledge), so its easy to just accept the outcome and enjoy..!!
Hello everyone!! i am trying to get the xt1542 version of a moto g3 working, my brother said he tried to update something and then it turned like this:
No booting to OS, only M logo then restarts, it detects usb and fastboot, still can't open recovery, bp tools, etc, fastboot is locked and i can't access Operative Sys to unlock OEM.
Right now i am doing the .BAT thing to charge the phone on "adb and fastboot", so it is booting many times charging the cel.
I tried to flash from "adb and fastboot" but i get a fail notice (i think, this is because i have my fastboot locked).
I alrady downloaded my stock firmware for my cellphone version.
Finally, i saw a tutorial of unlocking fastboot vĂa some "img" files or something but was for other model / terminals.
What can i do? what i should do?, thanks in advance!!
Can you go into bootloader?? And can you (or your brother) tell what the "update" was, a little more in detail??
What is the "BAT" thing? Won't the phone charge when turned off?
Did you try just going into recovery and doing a factory reset?

As i said on title can't go to recovery, it's on red letters also. Sorry about the bat thing, is an adb bat file to makethe cellphone reset multiple times to make it receive charge. i am on a boot loop and it cannot be charged off, when you put charger or usb it starts restarting.
He cannot explain to me what update, i think official one maybe.

OK, now use volume buttons to select recovery and press power to start it... Once you get to the No Command screen with the Android on its back, press Power and Vol Up to access recovery menu. Perform a factory reset from there

I'd recommend leaving it at the bootloader while it charges, constant rebooting may drain more battery. After sufficient charging, you can try flashing latest official firmware via fastboot.
I can't be 100% sure if it'll succeed in this case. Fastboot gives a 'Preflash Validation failed' error message if the target firmware is newer than the one to be installed. And if this is indeed an OTA, then there is a slight chance of failing. (It'll not harm the phone as nothing will be flashed).
Nevertheless you should give it a shot.

I did exactly the same as you said, but after i press power to acces recovery (instantly) i see motorola logo, and agiain power cycling starts, also in the menu of bootloader, i see recovery on red letters, as bp tools and qcomm, but start is on green (it does not start), also do not forget my bootloader is locked.. i tried to unlock it but i need to enter dev tools yes or yes, so idk what can i do.

Some people said that it won't charge on bootloader is it false then?, i applied a batch file with a command to infinite boot the cellphone to bootloader to get charge. also how do i flash it if my bootloader is locked and also flashing with stock rom through adb give notice that is failing to flash?

For factory resetting, in bootloader mode, press volume down twice, when you see 'recovery' (in red), press power button. That should open up recovery with an Android logo. Press and hold power and press volume up once. Now you should see option for factory resetting.
BTW, I think I charged my phone once in bootloader mode.
For the fastboot flash part, if every command returns 'Preflash validation failed', then probably nothing can be done except to wait for a newer firmware to be released.

Updated news, i could flash the newer stock rom 6.0 for movistar Latin America, on adb all files were flashed "OKAY", but problem is i am still stuck on boot loop... what do you think? recovery and everything is installing / flashing okay, but still can't get into recovery, maybe could be that it's not the correct firmware?, because before Movistar firmware i was trying to install RETAIL LA, and it was failing always.

From the bootloader, flash the recovery.img from the factory image with "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and let it complete (shouldn't take more than 10-15 seconds), then WITHOUT rebooting select Recovery on the phone and it should start recovery. Once you get the android on it's back and it says "No Command", then press VOL UP+Power to get to the recovery menu. If you can't get to this point there is more wrong here than just a flashing issue.

Hi,
I was trying to flash TWRP, but now I am stuck with flashing TWRP logo after rebooting or powering the phone on.
I am unable to get to the fastboot.
STEPS I did before brick:
1. unlocked OEM via official way
2. flashed TWRP
3. after that my phone was reset however most of the apps was missing, I was trying to do factory reset once again but it failed with the message "Data partition was heavily damaged"
4. I re-locked EOM
5. brick as mentioned above
Please help, I have the phone only two weeks and I have no idea how to fix this without fastboot.
Thank you.

Sounds like you flashed the 3030 version of TWRP. Download the 3020 version and put it in your fastboot folder. Plug in the USB to PC
Hold power and volume up untill the phone reboots. While it's still off immediately change to power and volume down and hold till it goes into fastboot (bootloader)
Now fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
With the 3020 version.
Unplug the USB and hold power and volume up until it says the phone is booting.. let go and TWRP will load.
Go to Wipe / format data / type yes
Reboot to system and your all set

So I've tried that but the phone is still booting to recovery (flashing TWRP logo) no matter what.
Basically the phone is always on now because if hold the power button (or any other combination) for a few second it will just reboot back.
I have an access only to ADB, but I am not able to boot to bootloader at all, it seems the bootloader is damaged somehow.
Also that warning about unlocked OEM doesn't have that text saying "hold volume up to boot to recovery" etc. like before brick.
Hi there,
Try using the Huawei Multi Tool with the Unbrick option : https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/tool-huawei-multi-tool-team-mt-t3523923
Speaking from experience, this little fellow helped me recover my phone when I bricked it ON DAY ONE after failed root attempt... (Derp)
Let me know if it helped you
(Leave a thanks if it did )
EDIT : This tool is also useful if you want to get lazy whilst rooting. I use it constantly when flashing diffrent bits and pieces
Clearly follow My steps To unbrick and get normal device ::
Step 1 ::
Download the full firmware of your device.
Step 2 :
make sure that your bootloader is in unlocking state
Follow the video blindly ::: https://youtu.be/OMKDnBqbi3U?list=PL...eT9J26lkefvVkK
don't panic of mobile.
Step 3 :: done ..enjoy u did it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you bricked on nougat then follow the below steps
step one :::
download the downgrade package to mm .
then extract the zip and open the update.app using HuaweiUpdateextrator in that select recovery and extract
1.now, boot your device into fastboot and flash the recovery (Optional)(try this if it said incompatible version on recovery)
2. on your sd card and make a folder "dload" . and copy the update.app which we have extracted earlier
3.the switch off the device and press all three buttons you will be reboot into recovery and done . you device will be okey

Booting to the bootloader is just a timing issue
Phone must be hooked to PC with USB
And volume up and power till it goes black
Then immediately volume down and power and Hold untill the bootloader loads
Keep trying until you get it

I've tried that, but I am still stuck as that tool is using fastboot as every other tool to flash .img files.
Thank you for the tip though.
Plug phone into computer with USB, then hold down power + volume down until it eventually boots into bootloader. I had the same scenario as you and that's how I got into the bootloader. You can flash either a good TWRP or the stock recovery, either one will work.
Update:
This was the answer: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/development/unofficial-twrp-3-0-3-0-mate-8-t3524025. I'm now in TWRP.
- - -
I got an AL10 as a gift the other day. I let the phone update to Nougat before I tried to root it.
I used DC unlocker to unlock the bootloader, as well as unlock FRP. However, there is no option to unlock FRP from Developer options in the Android settings.
On Linux I use adb to reboot into the bootloader. Then, I use fastboot to flash the latest TWRP image (3.0.2.0).
That's where the problems start. Once TWRP is flashed, I try to reboot the device and into TWRP.
Nothing happens if I press volume up + power. I've also tried volume down + power, and doing this without the USB cable attached. I've tried letting go of volume up and power when the screen flashes on, and holding it down.
It seems one of the three things happens:
1. I get stuck at a phone is unlocked and can't be trusted, device is booting now, and then Android boots as normal.
2. I get stuck at device is booting now, and the device doesn't boot.
3. I end up in Huawei eRecovery.
I've also tried using fastboot to boot directly into the TWRP image, but I get a failed error.
Any insights or advice? I'd like to run Linux Deploy on this phone, which requires root.
Many thanks in advance.
Hey guys, my Honor is in brick state. I pushed a rollback package while I was in marshmallow (but with wrong ROM, so I was trying to rollback again and retry the procedure) and the phone got stuck in Honor blue screen at loop.
It won't let me power off, it justs turns on again. All button combinations won't work apparently. I can't get to recovery or e-recovery.
I tried depleting the battery. But as soon as I connect to the charger, it powers on. If I try the button combination before putting charge, it also doesn't work.
After the first successful rollback to MM, I think the bootloader got locked.
adb and fastbook can't seem to list the device.
I can get to fastboot and rescue mode, but I don't know the procedure from there.
So, is this a unsolvable brick? Or is there anything else that can be done to save this phone?
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
use dc unlocker to flash unlock bootloader and after dc flasher

It's easy. I had a similar problem too. Just when your phone attempts to boot, hold the Volume Down button and immediately connect it to the PC (within 1-2 second). It should go into fastboot mode. Now, open Huawei Multi Tool and unlock your bootloader then use the tool to unbrick your phone, start with flashing stock recovery and then the correct firmware.

If you're stuck on "Your device is booting now". This probably means your recovery is screwed. Don't worry, flash stock recovery and erecovery using Multi-Tool.
Then try the dload method. If the problem persists, then flash the correct TWRP then use HuRUpdater to flash the ROM you want. This will definitely fix the issue.
