I tried a few custom roms and hated them all. Then I tried reinstalling the original rom and I cannot fix it anymore.
That is terrible, because the device is very expensive, therefore I cannot lose it.
If I try to turn it on it will show the message: "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. " The recovery does not work as well. The download mode is the only working thing .
I am trying this command to reinstall the original rom:
Code:
heimdall flash --TZSW tz.img --BOOT boot.img --CACHE cache.img --RADIO modem.bin --HIDDEN hidden.img --PARAM param.bin --RECOVERY recovery.img --SYSTEM system.img --BOOTLOADER sboot.bin --no-reboot
Output on PC:
Code:
Heimdall v1.4.0

The problem is partially solved. Since the download mode was the only working thing, I flashed all files of the original rom (except for sboot.bin). The recovery and the custom rom returned.
Custom roms are working now, but I still have problems to restore the original rom.
I can flash all items with heimdall except for --BOOTLOADER sboot.bin. Whenever I try flashing it, the operation fails. It is broken and I do not know how to fix it.
There is an obnoxious kitkat custom rom installed and I am unable to get rid of it. If I flash all items of the original rom (except for sboot.bin), the kitkat rom will be restored instead of the original rom. I am sure that the files that I am installing are the original Jelly Bean rom.
I can install and use other custom roms, but if I try to restore the original rom, the same kitkat custom rom is restored instead.
The easiest solution is to use a good custom rom that keeps some Samsung things, instead of restoring the original rom.
If we compare the original Samsung rom and the Kitkat Android rom, Kitkat has two bars (an upper bar and a lower bar), but in the Samsung version both bars are merged into the lower bar. The Samsung version is more efficient because it occupies less space and I have a larger area for apps.
I need a reliable rom that merges the two bars into one. It needs to be safe, because I will use banking app. Omegarom seems to be the best option for me, because it is close to the original rom.

i've tried this guide and some others on the net, downloading files over files, tried with odin3 v1.85 and v3.09.
putting every time the phone in download mode and flashing the .tar.md5 file when doing it without the pit file it says "use the default pit", attaching the pit it gives a "secure check fail: id 0x95" and one time it displays "partition table doesen't exist".
It would be nice if anyone could help me as soon as possible!!:good:
I think ur partition memory currepted .....
Hit thanks if i helped
i thought it too couse it can't be that it says "partition table doesen't exist", if you know how to fix it, it would be great
ok
did you downloaded the correct firmware from sammobile.com ???
What were you doing when you bricked your phone??
yes, i did, but it also didn't work i tried different versions but niether that worked.
I bricked my phone flashing through cwm the same rom (cm10.2 by vickig coolest) in order to reinstall the gapps which weren't working before.
Now i tried flashing cm10.2 by dirty developer and it says "e: can't open /sdcard/cm-10.2-20131216-DirtyDev-trebon.zip" if someone could give me a working backup (cwm 6.0.3.3) i could try to restore it.
Dude
While flashing stock firmware open odin and click on nandroid erase all
And then flash firmware
After reboot do a hard reset
Hope it works

Hi.
7 or 8 days on bootloop now. I guess i've tried everything - even flashing PIT files, which i guess has destroyed the phone.
SM-G920F
I have Odin ready.
I can only flash XEF 5.1.1 (france) file with Odin, others give me errors.
I can flash UniKernel.
I can flash TWRP.
I know how to push (send) files to TWRP.
Hmm.. what more..
I am not able to flash bootloader, but i am able to flash modem. It gives me nand write error fail. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60112855&postcount=3)
Everytime i flash XEF file, it goes okay with a "PASS" on Odin, blue android logo comes and says "erasing". After that the Samsung logo comes and goes off, comes and goes off. Same all the time.
A friend says: i think, the repartitioning when flashing the firmware with pitfile has destroyed the actual file system. would explain why flashing a stock ROM does not restore the bootloader.
Need to know more, ask me.
If you have something to help me with, please do so! I'm stuck here for about a week now.
same here
im installed "G920FXXU3COJ1_G920FOJP3COJ1_XSG" and there is FAIL when installing "HIDDEN" section on ODIN, other 5.1.1s just failing at the start :/ what should i do? what is ur france 5.1.1s build number bro? downloading now another 5.1.1 from sammobile :/
failed 5.1.1 list:
G920FXXU1AOCY_G920FEVR1AOC1_EVR
G920FXXU2COI5_G920FOLB2COI5_XSE
G920FXXU2BOG8
After flashing twrp I got stuck in a boot loop I also flashed supersu after that. My phone wont turn on now and when I try to reflash the firmware but it gave me an error on my phone: SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 3, BINARY: 2
the original firmware for my device is sm-g92trwatmb and the firmware that I flashed was G920T1UVU1AOCH. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I fixed this problem by extracting the recovery.image, boot.image, and system.image from the G920T1UVU2COFB* firmware file and saving the each as individual tar files and flashing them. This bypassed the Sw rev check fail error
*I'm not 100 percent sure that all the files were from this so I will be reflashing the whole firmware file to optimize it.
Well, I was trying to install Masik Marshmallow 1.1 into my s6 (sm-920F) using Heimdall, an open source alternative to Odin.
The only thing that I remember that I have done wrong is that I tried to flash bootloader onto the wrong partition. I wrote "heimdall flash --BOOT MM+bootloader.tar" instread of "heimdall flash --BOOTLOADER MM+bootloader.tar" And i remember that I successfuly flashed the file in the wrong partition.
Now I cant flash anything into the BOOTLOADER partition, I tried Odin from my father's windows PC but nothing.
Please Help! I would like if someone could send me the original content of the boot partition. I'm downloading firmwares looking for that file but I only have 3mbps so it might take a while
Edit:
Since I got no replies I figured I would change up my question to maybe make it easier to understand.
Does anyone know how to flash bootloader files in TWRP for a G955U?
Example:
-abl.elf/xbl.elf/tz.mbn/storsec.mbn/sec.dat/rpm.mbn/pmic.elf/NON-HLOS.bin/msadp.mbn/etc......
To their correct partitions
-sdd1 rpm/sdd2 tz/sdd3 hyp/sdd4 fsg/sdd5 sec/sdd6 pmic/sdd7 dsp/sdd8 abl/etc...
Phone usb port is dead and can't use download mode to flash. I have gotten a update.zip on PartyCyborg and tried to take it but fails when it gets to about 20% and give a "Single-SKU" error.
I have also tried to update with FlashFire after decompressing the lz4 files and it misses things like abl.elf and other bootloader files so after it's done installing the system just reboots with the standard Samsung splash and doesn't do anything, and since the usb doesn't work I can't flash with odin.
Does anyone now how to get the phone to update while being on a factory binary(used for root) and get to a stock rom with no usb.
