Hey guys,
I've had my SP3 for about half a year now and maybe about a month ago I noticed that the built-in speakers randomly produce popping and crackling noises. Even when I'm not doing anything and is most noticeable when I'm using Chrome. Has anyone else had these issues?
P.s. my SP3 is up to date with firmware and system updates

I can confirm this happening to mine as well on Win 10 TP

Managed to fix the issue by uninstalling the ms update driver for the soundcard and installing the version from the realtek website. Only issue now is that I constantly get a notification of headphones being inserted into the audio jack, even though I haven't plugged in any. Can overcome this annoyance by disabling the notification.

Hey guys, I know the title sounds weird but has anyone gotten the problem of Audio coming out of both headphones and speaker randomly while listen to music or watching a video?
I have a 32GB nexus 5 and I was watching a video and all of a sudden the volume went down and I could hear from my headphones and speaker as well. Just wondering if it's just my device or someone else is also having this problem.
If so, you think it's a software issue or hardware? Cause if it is, I'm gonna get it returned or exchanged asap.
Bump. Anyone has this problem?

I accidentally thanked you. Lmao. Anyways, make sure your headphones are pushed in all the way. They may be in only partially.

Lool. Thanks for the thanks.
Trust me I did that. When i watch YouTube sometimes and put it landscape the audio starts coming out from the speaker while headphones are plugged in. I reboot the phone then everything goes fine but sometimes it comes back again. This was the second time so I am worried whether it's a hardware issue of software. I feel it's software.

Just to echo: I had the same problem whilst listening on poweramp on my headphones, I declined a call by sending a text and all of a sudden I have audio coming out of headphones and speakers. Very embarassing on the tube!
I have restarted the phone and all seems to be good, but Google need to fix this.
I got the Mobile on the day before yesterday, and yesterday only I first connected the headphone, and I experienced similar issue. While playing music through PowerAmp, all of a sudden the volume on the headset gone low, and I heard its coming through speaker also. I pushed the jack all the way in, but the problem persist all the day long. when I put the jack in, it starts playing on the headphone only, and randomly it starts leaking. while playing through headphone whenever I press the power button, it starts leaking, whenever I go to the eq screen on the poweramp it starts leaking. along with that it starts leaking randomly. Today after seeing this post I rebooted and till then I have not experienced it again. Please let me know, did u RMA it? or the problem solved?
If anyone else has a opinion or a suggestion please respond.
On a side note, my speaker volume is terribly low, I didn't know there was a shutter sound exist, until I read from the forum today.
Bump
Sent from hell through N5. Oh, yes, it works here too
Same deal

I have a similar problem with my nexus 7, after buying a new audio jack/ micro USB port assembly. About two days ago the audio just stopped coming out of my headphones and instead plays from the speakers and I have know idea whats going on, if it is the assembly then I've wasted $70.
Bump Galaxy Tab A SM-T550
Same here.. Android 4.4.2. with PowerAmp.
When I'm listening "poweramp" I put to charge the audio leaks from the speaker
Just had that happen on LineageOS 14.1 (based on Android 7.1.2) OnePlus 2
While watching a YouTube video.
After doing some tests I found that it was happening when a notification was received during playback. The notification sound was coming through the phone and after that the media sound was also coming from the phone.
Every time I connect my Plantronics Voyager Pro HD and I'm in a conversation over the phone I hear this cracklin sound from my Bluetooth! Is anyone else having this issue? I've swithched out for a new Voyager and the problem still resides!
I think it's an android problem and not the phone ive been having Bluetooth problems since JB

I'm having the same problems with my Plantronics M100. The signal has more static than usual. Put it back on my Nexus 4, works fine. Maybe someone tested with a low-grade Bluetooth piece, since it's less evident on my crappy old Motorola H620 (though it always sounded crappy anyway).
Might be a Bluetooth stack problem. Might be a hardware thing. Hard to say at this point.

Do you have other active Bluetooth devices? I see this when I have multiple connected devices and when I disable all but one at a time it works.

Works fine for my "old" Jabra 135 or Moto H350, rooted stock 4.4.2 rom & kernel.

The same problem here. I have brand new Voyager Pro HD. With Nexus 5 I hear crackling & static however my caller hears me very well without crackling & static. I keep phone on my desk or in my packet same think.
I paired this headset with Nexus 4 and it works perfect, it seems like only Nexus 5 has some issue with this headset.
I noticed issue with Nexus 5 stock MusicFX, whether bluetooth to device or general usage. It seems to have come from that I believe. I am on Cataclysm and run Viper FX audio files, no crackling at all any more (using high or super audio drivers). I think the issue resides in the default android sound production and that is being sent via the bluetooth. Running 4.4.2.
Cant say ive had any issues, but there do seem to be reoccuring ones for many

same issue here with my Stock Nexus 5 4.4.2 and Plantronics Voyager UC2 latest firmware.
Definitely looks like an issue on the phone side as it worked no problem with the Old Desire X and my PC.
Would rooting / replacing the Kernel affect the bluetooth?
I did want to keep this phone as stock as possible this time.. (famous last words)
Hi guys,
My HTC U11 has a strange behaviour whenever is connected via bluetooth to my car audio system (Mercedes Comandonline NTG 4.5), resulting in a delay in answering the phone calls either using the car commands or answering to the phone directly; sometimes the call is answered to the phone but on my car system the phone is still ringing and only after few seconds I can hear the caller in the car speakers. The first connection with the car system when I am getting in the car is delayed as well.
I tryed already to unpair and pair back the phone with the car. I tryed to use another ROM (custom rooted ROM), but the result is the same: the delay is still there.
Now I'm back to the official ROM.
I am mentioning that my car system is genuine and I had been using it before with no issues together with HTC M9 and Samsung S7 Edge.
Does anybody have an ideea about this issue ?
Thanks
I have this, too, intermittently. Only noticed it after software 1.28.617.30. Maybe this is the issue.
I have previously experienced delayed BT audio only when watching a YouTube video, but I think all European cars suffer the same.
My HTC One M8 had no issues in my W203 but did in my W205. A MB firmware upgrade helped.
Since using my U11 I still have the delayed video audio, but the calls and connections have been ok.
I’d check again for you but my W205 is at the repair shop after a parked Hit and Run.
It’s due back in 3-4 weeks so I can test for you if you still need help.

I have a delay also with bluetooth calls in my truck. It's annoying, I say hello and they say hello, we do not here each other for 3 or 4 seconds at first. I also see a delay when watching videos with Bluetooth headphones. I have the US Unlocked version
I have noticed the same issue after the latest update. It happens with Bluetooth, headphones, and regular speakers. It develops the delay randomly, and doesn't go away until a reboot. I have tried several ROMs based on the latest firmware with multiple kernel setups, and I get the same result.
Definitely a problem with HTC's latest release, if you ask me.

When you get your car back, I would really appreciate a little help because this issue is really annoying

Today I tried an iPhone 7 with my car system via bluetooth and there was no issue or delay, so my conclusion is that the issue is related to the phone or software and not the MB car system.

I received my pixel 2 a week ago and I am getting probably 3 glitches a day where for example the camera doesn't work or things just seem to crash. I also have Bluetooth issues as stated in the title.
Does anyone have those as well?
i can confirme the bluetooth issues : when connecting to a bluetooth speaker ( JBL charge 3) phone lags and music plays on the phone instead of the speaker, then wifi disconnects. I even sent my speaker to JBL but got it back and they said that there were no issues when they did their tests, so i believe the phone is to blame
Let's hope they fix it with the next update. Apparently, pixel 2 phones on Verizon have received an update fixing the performance and other issues...
Hi all, I'm looking to get this device as a replacement for my Mi 8 which is starting to give me some issues. I was looking at reviews online and saw there may be some Bluetooth connectivity issue with drops outs. Has anyone experienced this? Is this an issue or was it solved? Thanks.

I've used Bluetooth speaker 3 or 4 times for around 2 hours each time (once since I upgraded to Android 10.)
I've not had any issue with Bluetooth personally, but I've only ever connected to the same BT speaker. Obviously I'm not a huge Bluetooth user, so my personal experience will hold less weight than heavier users.

No issues here with headsets, speakers or cars (with/without Android Auto).
SmartWatch,tws no issues...
Left ear bud, Right ear bud, stereo buds, a few different brands of speakers, two cars, Bluetooth controllers and my computer, so far I haven't had any Bluetooth Issues, if I did it was a simple restart that fixed it, but that was a syncing issue with one of my older Bluetooth headphones.
