Best Rom for Video Recording on O3D

I have never used Video Recording that much in the past. But when I try to video record in full HD, its drags in the video and in the sound. I am currently using ThiaizO3D v2.6.1 Prada on the phone. Seems to be the fastest rom thus far regarding the user interface. I'm not sure if it might be my memory card being to slow, or the connection speed between the memory card and the phone. My guess is that it can't store fast enough to the memory card, which is just weird.
It must be something wrong with my phone as everyone with a custom rom can't be facing this issue.
Kavir
Most ppl have problems with full hd recording.
I have never tried any ROMS other than stock. Here is a video I uploaded yesterday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_PA...DvjVQa1PpcFNKYqrD6lQvA41K63hRFbV-VRZR4tRiMtU= in FULL HD. Shot with my Optimus 3D.
Stringer2u, Its the first time I actually used the video recorder on my phone, as i never actually test with stock rom. As the custom rom's made my phone as fast as my brothers Iphone 4s, I decided to keep it. Custom roms seem to run much faster, but this downfall of the video camera struggling to keep up is not good. It might also have to do with the fact that i was video recording a live dancing show with very fast movements and loud sound. It shouldn't affect it tho.
Thanks for the video up;pad. Watching it at the moment. Might consider downgrading back to stock rom. ThiaizO3D rom's have really grown on me tho.

Could you record continuous video of full hd for about 2 minutes. Your video is from chopped bits. Stuttering starts about 30 seconds to 1 minute of continuous recording, not 5 seconds bits.
Figured out some interesting things.
If you select to store to device instead of memory card, seems to work perfectly. Not sure why, but it seems much better. Going to run full tests tomorrow to ensure that it is 100% working. Will make me super happy. Just that there is limited space available on the phone memory.

I used to have that problem to i used to have a class 4 16gb card it used to lagg like a biatch and then when i switched to internal it works perfect.. Anyway i invested in a 32GB class ten Lexar card and it is blazing fast 18.8MB write speed and 20MB read speed so now when i take Full 1080p videos they don't become choppy it is amazing and smooth as hell..
I have a-data 16gb c10 card. Video lags, on internal memory even more.
Rushdroid with titan kernel 3,1 @ 1,4 GHz
I have a 32gb class10 Samsung card. 3d 720p recording lags using internal or external SD. I'm on stock v21e. Rooting and overclocking the device didn't make a difference. Using SD booster increased the write speed (in the numbers) but had no real effect on video recording. I don't know if applying the "V6 Supercharger" script by zeppelinrox will have any positive effect.
I wonder, is there a way to decrease the bitrate of captured video (even if that means lowering the framerate to 24)?

30b recording is smooth as hell
defcomg, thank you! Your contribution to this community is highly notable! Tell me please, have you tried shooting in 720p 3D continuously for more than a couple of minutes and still got no lag? I'm waiting for xbsall's modified ROM to install.

[Q] Cubot one info (HTC Clone)

preferably to anyone that has had the Cubot one for longer than a month.
does the phone still work as you had hoped? its everything fine with it?
i have read alot of good things about this phone, and am interested in getting it, i currently have the iphone 4.
this will be my first 'clone phone'
just want to know if it still holds up after a while
thanks.
Hi, I've been using the cubot one for about 4 months.
It's a good phone but, to be honest, I don't know if new next phone will be a Chinese one again.
First of all you can appreciate a big difference in performance as compared to a branded phone with similar specs (the branded one performs better), which can may consider acceptable seen the huge difference in the price.
Problem is that the lack of performance has a big impact on the way you'll use the phone (compared to the way you wanted to use it)
Do you use your phone as alarm clock? Well tell your boss you may be late sometimes becuase the cubot one happens to switch off overnight (even with fully charged battery) time by time. It happenwd to me probably 5 times in 4 months!
Do you use to take pictures with your phone? Well, its probably best you get a pocket camera always with you. Resolution of photos with the cubot one is not bad (it's a reasonable 7Mpix)...when you can see them!!! If you use the flash, the result is a completely white photo, due, I guess, to a wrong timing shutter-flash. So no night photos. If you take pictures with plenty of natual light, well 4 out of 5 will be corrupeted in zero time and the result is "no thumbnail available". I've missed a lot of shots in this way.
I still have stock 4.2.1 rom (august 2013) and time by time phone freezes or goes to deep stand by (remove battery necessary), also periodically I find new apps installed without my permission!!!
My room uses embedded GOlauncher, it does not use stock android!
From reviews it seems you can use it to play heavy games, but I can't even play temple run, it becomes a stop motion like game.
I'm currently looking for a better rom, hoping that usage experience will improve.
My partner has the same phone with june 2014 4.2.1 rom, in her case it's stock android, and she has a bit less issues than I do, but she doesn't use the phone as "intensively" as I do either.

[Q] Camera on Cyanogenmod 12 Unofficial beta 6

I´ve been testing CM12 beta 6 for 3 days and it´s great. Is the first time I install a custom ROM on a Sony Xperia device so everything is new for me in this device and the first complain about this is camera.. On stock the camara was ok for a 8MP device, very similar to my S4 Active(8mp). But now without the stock ROM the camera is terrible, very noisy in good light or low light. I´ve tried to improve the quality modifying the "build.prop" and "media_profiles" into system. But is not even near to stock. I know Sony has some drivers for the camera and some DRM in the TA partition, but by this moment my 5 years old HTC HD2 with 5MP is taking much better photos, the S4 Active I have also with CM12 is taking soo much better pictures and I think is the same or similar hardware 8MP.
Are some tricks for improve camera quality that I didn´t hear about Xperias devices?
Is this just with CM12 or with any Custom ROM?
Can I do something to improve my camera quality?

I know is just a beta yet, but before I Flashed that, I Flahsed LiquidSmooth 4.4.4 and the camera was the same, of course was more stable ROM but camera quality was the same. Too much blurry like if the lense was dirty compared to stock 4.2.2. I think it´s maybe because of the DRMs into the TA partition, same story with Xperia Z3 and others Xperias devices, so I want to know if there is any trick to improve camera quality to be similar to stock 4.2.2 o it´s imposible to do that.
someone says that varun is working on a new camera hal that maybe improve camera, we have a dead 4.2.2 device upgraded to 5.0.2 with near full completity (only need some fixes with framework, kernel modules like bluetooth modules and then the best part, battery improvements and performance, what at the moment without too much as kk have is a lot better than kk )
Camera stopped unexpectedly
Hi guys. I am really lost on what to do after flashing my C2105 with CM12 Beta 6. When i change the settings on Camera, everything can be done with the exception of when i try to change the resolution of the video from 720P to QVGA or the other one. I wanted to change to a smaller resolution so that the video won't be too large for sending through whatsapp. But when i press on QVGA, the camera has stopped unexpectedly. And i will have to clear data and cache and reset the settings again. Unluckily, the resolution still can't be changed :/ Ayone has the same problem or solution?

[Completed] LG G4 with CM14 | 7.1 - Camera is way to slow on normal exposure

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my camera on the LG G4. Note: The Snapdragon Camera is flashed on the device but I tested different apps too. The camera was pretty good on stock and worked well. The internal/selfie camera is still fast and works fine but the external camera / back camera is way to sloppy. While trying to take a photo with apps like Instagram, the Google Photo Scanner or Google Camera / Snapdragon Camera it seems to use the wrong exposure times.
Even while taking a photo of a person in front of a white wall being in room light it's lagging pretty hard and everything is sloppy and slow. Taking good photos is really hard this way. Only when I focus on a TV / Computer Screen it's running fine since the exposure and ISO timing is automatically changed to the correct values. When I move away from the Screen again, it's getting slow and sloppy again.
Anyone had something similar with Cynanogen Mod? I also had the issue with my Nexus 6 before which was really annoying. I don't know if I do something wrong while flashing, but I can't find out whats wrong. I tested the same enviroments with my girlfriends unflashed Huawai P9 and her phone is just running fine without problems. I would use stock software but I really hate all the bloatware and modified Android versions they bring in.
Everything else works fine and the phone overall has a good performance. The issue was already existing with CM13 too. Maybe some driver being installed wrong?
Thank you very much. If you need more informations just tell me so I can give you more infos.

Greetings and welcome to assist. You really need to ask this in the rom thread, it is quite a common issue when using cm based roms for there to be camera issues.

New user/noob questions

HI all. To make matters short, after three years of being a huawei user I've bought my self one xiaomi mi4 lte-cu.
It came with stock 4.4.4. kitkat and MIUI 7 by xioami.eu 5.12.11 Beta.
My question is what would be the best rom for my phone (Mi 4LTE-CU 2/16 gb). I am looking for good battery life, stability (everything works like it should) and good camera quality. And if anyone can point me in the right direction what are the best instructions for backup (before upgrade), and the instructions for upgrade (necessary steps).
Now I get aprox 4h of Screen on time (with 4g and wifi enabled interchangeably), everything works most of the time ok (sometimes some games crash depending on the battery level), and the picture quality of the camera is so so.
My previous phone was Huawei P7, which by available specification should have an identical sony camera sensor. However, it produced better photo quality by order of magnitued (in my humble opinion). I wonder why is this so?
Any help would be much obliged....
