even playing clash of clans, it lags....
my question is i am playing game that requires controller.

Has anyone been able to successfully use your MOGA controller (specifically the Power Pro) on Lollipop? After upgrading both my N5 and my Oneplus One to lollipop, my controller pairs, but won't control any games. In the settings for Dead Trigger 2, under game pad, it seems to think I have a keyboard attached and won't let me map any buttons. My ROM is SlimLP on both devices.
It's baconnn!

I emailed their support and this is their response:
"We're very sorry to hear of the troubles you've experienced with the MOGA Pivot app on the latest Lollipop update. We are currently working with our developers to resolve this issue, and should have a solution soon. We appreciate your patience.
Regards,
Customer Service"
Hopefully that's more than just a form later and means they are aware/admit there's a problem and are going to issue an update to fix it soon.

Bought a moga
Today I bought the moga pro 2.
It syncs in both A&B perfectly.
Then I opened a game.
I died because my controller didn't do anything except show it is synced.
So I tried with other games and all same problem then I researched and found this thread.
I'm assuming we have to wait for a new update or downgrade. ****. Well merry no mobile gaming christmas. Lol first world problems at its finest.

For what it's worth, I have the same problem with most games using my Bluetooth controller gamepad. The only free games I found that worked well for my gamepad and my Nexus Player were Asphalt 8, BombSquad, Hungry Shark Evolution, and Beach Buggy Racing,
I'm speaking specifically about the Android TV versions of those games. I tried a Beach Buggy Racing that I found on Google Play from my Nexus 9 tablet for instance, and that one claimed to have gamepad support, but it only had limited joystick gamepad support, it didn't work as well with my gamepad as the Android TV version. And yet, there is no reason the Android TV version shouldn't work on a tablet, so I recommend that if the normal google play versions of those apps don't work with your gamepad, that you try to get the apks specfically from an Android TV Google Play instead and side load them onto your tablet.
Sadly even on Android TV, you'll still find slim pickings right now, but I suspect that's not going to last. Google is making a major push on Android TV right now. So I suspect that a year or two from now, you'll find many more good Android games with excellent gamepad controller support.
PS: Also, I assume that Riptide 2 should work pretty well, since that's the game they demo for gamepads during developer conferences. On a tablet, that game is $1.99, but on an Android TV, it's $4.95. I suspect that the tablet/phone version should work just as well as the Android TV version thought, since I've seen both form factors demoed with gamepads at conferences.
Ok thanks

Ok,, so I'm looking for a tablet and you can now buy this K1 device for £149.
So, I was wondering if this is the one I should go for or, can you please recommend a better one.
I want it for the normal stuff, Netflx, youtube and obviously gaming.
Thanks in advance.
IMO, The Shield Tablet is second to none. Its a true powerhouse and if you want to game, none do it better. I own 4 Shield Tablets. 2 I purchased at $299 and recently 2 more of the K1 versions at $199.
I would happily pay $299 for these so at $199, its a no-brainer.
The only real question is are you satisfied with an 8 inch screen? Some folks want to carry a TV around with them.
Double posted.

Thank you...just got home with it and I'm delighted. Only played with for 10 minutes. Turned it on for the first time and I got the MM update straight away which I'm really happy with. This thing is as smooth to use as my partners iPad air which I wasn't expecting.*
Can I ask you one last thing? I just signed up to the 3 months free game streaming service, do I need a controller to play them games or can you just use the tablet ?
Thanks again.

Best tablet
I have never been so impressed with a device. The thing that really got me is the geo force streaming unbelievable! I would tell anyone, and am telling everyone, that they can't go wrong with the shield. What a device!
