Should be possible. Kernel source is availabe and you just have
To edit the freq tables afaik. Huawei never released hisi source, and there are oc-kernels
available.( ascend mate for example)

Well I'm a chinese.Actually speaking,there is only one developer build custom rom for Honor 6.
Three UI,MIUI,IUNI and Baidu Yun, are functional now.
But all of these custom roms' introduction describe that these custom roms based on EMUI 3.0/2.3.
If you need more details about these rom or the developer,I can have a try to contact with her.

This would be great! I love the honor 6 plus, but the software has nowhere near as much features as I was used to in cm.
I will support development aswell, with lending my own devices or feedback.

On hurtsky only zzmove and Intelliactive woks normally.
