I'm on latest ICS 4.0.3 leak with new firmware and everything else.
I need to go back to stock cuz i need to send it.
Can i flash my stock GB RUU to come back to original situation?
Now don't quote me on this. It's safe to flash the stock firmware. Altho you are going to want to have your stock backup or a gingerbread Rom that is stock to flash immediately afterwards. 4.0.3 will not boot unless it has the 1.23, hboot. So you will go straight into the splash screen stuck mode after booting with new hboot. Besure you have something compatible with the new firmware before flashing on.ics.
Make sense?
My sensation was running newest firmware with 6.0.2 ICS. My recovery is 4Ext touch recovery. For whatever reason (flashing addict) I grabbed the TMOUS stock RUU and ran it.
At first the RUU gave me an error saying the phone had incompatible or bad recovery/partition. It then gave me the option to recover or repair the recovery/partition.
After that was done I had to close the RUU and re-open it. The RUU worked fine after that. My phone was put back to hboot 1.17.0008 with stock GB. HTC warranty ready.
so no problems here (of course there is some risk, every situation is different)
so is not a problem if the ICS firmware has changed the structure of the system partition?
i did update my sensation from stock rom 2.3.3 to custom rom insert coin ics 4.0.3 and ARHD ics 4.0.3 it works fine and full twicked but when i try to back to stock ROM the ruu stop and tell me error 155 i think i should get it back to custom Gingerbread then flash it with stock rom but it didn't work again my sensation is s s-off + rooted + ext4 + supercid 1111111 and i'm stuck with custom rom now i just wanna know how to back to stock plzzzzzz help
Hey there,
I think you have not the right firmware (hboot).
reboot to bootloader and check what your Hboot is.

Hi,
I think you should downgrade your hboot to 1.17 ,which you can find HERE
This will enable you to flash a GB ROM,or a stock RUU.

Hi,
1.Flash any GB ROM from HERE
2.The radio you have on at the moment will work on GB with 1.17.
If not,go HERE , and get 10.14 or 10.15 and install it...
Doesn't the RUU include a radio?
i did try those but it dozt work when i flash the radio the custom gb rom wont boot it's stuck in boot loop

Hi,
Can you write down what it says on your hboot screen (the one before bootloader)
hello i did update it yesterday and get back to insertcoin ics rom and my hboot now is 1.27.1100
I've rooted my phone (HTC Sensation XE) and turned it to S-Off. I am running stock ROM and the instructions from the thread that I rooted it from says that I still need to flash stock ROM to unroot and remove Clockwork and Hboot, or I could brick it. The problem is, the RUU that I need is not availble for download (1.73.401.4). Would I be able to download a RUU with the same baseband number but instead of 1.73.401.4, say 1.73.401.2?
I really want my phone back to the way it was and if that other RUU decides to fail on me, would I be able to still unroot without flashing stock ROM? I know there's a risk with doing that and if you know, how big is it? Any help is appreciated and it would be awesome if you could link to the stock RUU (1.73.401.4 and 10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2 baseband number)
hey guys i want to return my phone to stock but it had the update already, everytime i try to flash the 1.54 ruu i get error 155, does any one have a full ruu for the new version? is there any other way to return the phone to stock
Hi,
I have installed ViperOne 6.2.1 on my htc one m7 but now i want to go back to the default stock rom and unroot the phone as it was originally. The problem is that i am unable to flash the stock rom 1.26.502.12.
I get the error 155, ruu cannot update something.
Kindly help me to get rid of this viper one rom.
