Seems like a hardbrick.
If I'm not mistaken, Zeus flash device appear when we want to unlock Xperia 2011 model using test point method.
Maybe you should repair your phone using SeTooL since the tool used to unlock Xperia 2011 bootloader is also made by the laser.

Setool requires a flashcard and dont have that

Yes it's paid software.
Maybe you can go to phone repair service that have SeTooL and J-TAG. I hope your phone can be repaired.

Unblock-able?????
Hello,
So you aren't getting any code from Sony? And what do you mean with unblock-able? That the bootloader cannot be unlocked? If that's the case, ofcourse you don't get a code from Sony! Your bootloader cannot be unlocked! How should they send you a code if you can't unlock your bootloader?
That is my interpretation of the word unblock-able, you're using... Maybe it means something else, so correct me if I'm wrong...
Kind regards and goodluck,

YES, the both phones have bootloader unlock status to yes. I guess they simply stoped and forgot to say it to everyone
If you are using Arc or Arc S , unlock Bootloader using EZ-Unlock App, beware since I am not responsible for bricked devices

Correct me if I'm wrong but won't he be able to relock his bootloader via flash tool so then he can use pc companion to repair the android OS on his phone?
Well as long as he can get into flash mode?
yes he can, but he cant flash software using seus or ppc while bl is unlocked, but if he can enter flashmode he can flash ftf file so it will be just the same as he didt it with pcc or seus. but like he said, he cant enter it, it may be that he is missing some drivers. i dont rly believe its possible to hardbrick this phone. its not like the old xperias. and the only way to brick the old ones was unlocking bl when u cant do that

He can relock the bootloader only if he has made a DRM keys backup, no other ways.In flashtool is no option to lock bootloader, flashtool can only unlock it.OP, if your phone doesn't react if you press power button and flashtool doesn't detect it you have a dead XL. :crying:
@up he can relock bl using flashtool; no need for drm keys

really? Didn't know that, thanks.
yes really, click for BLU, its the same as u can unlock bl (i did like that) using flashtool. if u have locked bl there will be button "unlock" if u have already unlocked there will be button "relock" thats the way how old xperias like neo v arc s lww etc were unlocked and locked (well one of the methods ^^)
@up Didn't know about that metod.I have unlocked my XMP's bootloader using sony official way.
OP can you tell me what is V4a driver? You can always try to sent the phone to repair service.
i think its viper4 android
I have no idea why the phone is dead.Really strange.Phone should boot with no problem, V4a is only a audio effect.

Yea, it is Viper4Android (really nice app ). I have used it before on my WT19i with no problems, it only needs root to work. The brick is most probably due to the unlocked bootloader, maybe the V4A driver caused some sort of issue e.g. the user installed the wrong driver - because it is specific to the processor. Although I have never heard of this problem before.
I have unlocked bł and i also use viper4 sndroid. Dont rly thinks so IT caused brick. IT must been something different. Have u tried formating something or the worst thing u could do formating system? Formating system means that u will delete ur all system data and that will cause the brick. I dont rly understand why soke ppl advise doing that bcoz this is dangerous

Yea, I see what your saying. I have never unlocked the bootloader of any of my devices before so am not much of an expert :silly: .
Just out of interest, I see that you also own the Xperia X8! :highfive: X8 was the phone that brought me to XDA in the first place! I still remember GingerDX lol.
Well i never like it. i user my Own lewa port for wbout 1.5year and during that time i flashed Rom 3Times, or so, but i was modding it a lot it also brought me herę but i prefered to read instead of writing, but this is changing lately

1 this is General Section, not Q&A
2 I already asked op if he did one of the things, but no responce
3 ur post is like ours, plus u didnt even bother to write any solution, u just only bothered to remind us that wwe dont help op, but u also dont help him

from my side its EOT cuz i dont see why should i argue further with u
I have used Viper with fw 0.26 and same thunderzap kernel without any problems. After installing the driver of Viper with the new fw I got bootloops every time I tried to restore my system via cwm. Today I talked with another member who has the same problem.
Now I'm back on 0.26 - Viper and CWM, everything works...
So I think it's Viper that disrupts the bootprocess.

There is no solution I think,
if you had not backed up your trim area.
i faced with same problem.
tried many more ways but no hope
It is because of touchwizz phone.apk
it damages trim area of sony mobile
i relocked the bootloader
eventually i sent my mobile to service center
i told them it happened when flashing a custom rom
they repaired my sony free of charge
now everything is ok

How to remove Demo software from XZ.

As the title says, I'm wondering how to remove the demo software from a few live demo units i've gotten my hands on.
I'm gonna give it to my kid to use around the house to play games and such.
The bootloader unlock is allowed, and just wondering how to go about doing this.
I'm a noob to rooting in general, but I rooted and custom rommed a Samsung S2 and a HTC M9 many moons ago, so I understand some of the basics.
I know I could send it out to a phone workshop to get them to remove the demo software, but they want 40£ to do the job.
Too expensive If I could do it myself.
So, where do I start? What do I need to do first?
Unlock the bootloader, then root the phone? What comes afterwards?

[CLOSED] Bootloader Unlock Allowed "No" to "Yes" is now finally possible.

Bootloader Unlock Allowed No to Yes is now finally possible
Discovered by MrCooper95
QUICK STORY OF HOW IT HAPPENED
For years, members of Xperia users thought that if you had a SIM locked Xperia phone, you would never able to unlock the bootloader even after you get it SIM unlocked, the Bootloader Unlocked Allowed will still remain "No".
You would have to buy a factory SIM unlocked phone instead.
For a good price, I've bought a used SIM locked Xperia 1 that has been hardlocked ( 0 unlock attempts left )
The previous owner tried to get it SIM unlocked, but the codes he used were incorrect and went over the unlock attempt limit, causing a SIM hard lock. He did not mention this when he put it up for sale.
Anyway, I looked around the internet and the found a program called QUnlock. ( S1 Network Unlock Tool )
The S1 Network Unlock Tool is free to download but you have to pay credit in order to work. About £20 ( you pay via mobile phone repair shop websites ) and then they will email you a username and password for you to connect to the S1 server in the unlock tool.
So I connected the Xperia 1 via flash mode in S1 Network Unlock Tool and it worked. My phone is now SIM unlocked after being hardlocked.
After booting up the phone. I went into service menu to ensure that it is free from SIM hardlock, the tool worked successfully.
but I also checked the bootloader status and it changed to "Yes".
I was suprised and amazed at the same time after all these years, we were told that changing the bootloader status No to Yes is impossible, even people told us that a permanent hard locked Xperia phone can never be reset.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q. What is the S1 Unlock Tool and what does it exactly do?
The S1 Network Unlock Tool is used by professional mobile phone repair shops and it has been around for a long time. This tool is created and only works for Xperia phones.
It is also available to be downloaded for anyone who can do it themselves at home with just a USB Cable.
This tool is used primarily to reverse a Xperia phone with a permanent SIM hard lock ( 0 unlock attempts left ) and changes it SIM unlocked.
It can be used as a normal SIM unlocking service.
However nobody really knew, that this tool can also change your bootloader status from "No" to "Yes".

Q. Can I use this tool to change my bootloader from No to Yes if my SIM is already unlocked?
So far yes, some members of Xperia users has reported back to confirm that it works.

Q. Why are some Xperia phones not allowed to have its bootloader unlocked?
Because it is originally made SIM locked to a Network Provider/Carrier. ( Factory SIM lock )
Network Providers/Carriers restricts you unlocking your bootloader due to warranty and safety reasons.

Q. Does this tool directly unlock the bootloader?
The tool does not directly unlock the bootloader, it just allows you to get the bootloader unlocked.
You would still need to follow Sony's official procedure of unlocking your bootloader.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You should always back up your Trim Area Partition (TA.img) if your Sony phone has a backup exploit.
After you have unlocked the phone using the tool, a sign file ( backup ) is created in the tool folder.
Don't delete it, keep it incase anything goes wrong. ( See warning below )
WARNINGThere are reports from some users encountering a no SIM card service / detection after they have used the tool. It is evidently related ( so far ) with some of the Japanese Xperia models.
Japanese SO Xperia model ( Docomo / SoftBank )
Japanese SOV Xperia model ( KDDI )
If this happens, restore the backup and get your refund or try flashing a custom ROM or another firmware ( only if it's safe to do so for Japanese Xperia models )

I will not be responsible for any actions that you make. I am informing you that the S1 Network Unlock Tool can have consequences as it is not fully documented yet.

I will keep the thread updated, best of luck.

hi, any idea this will work on Docomo Xperia XZ / AU Xperia X Performance ? And did you paid 23 pounds to unlock a device ?
I did pay. You can download the software anytime, however you need a valid username and password to start the process. That's what you buy from the website. Got the the information within 24 hours. Windows thinks it's virus. It's not. Just temporarily disable defender for the download folder
As for whether or not it will work for your device:.I think it would. At least that's the impression I got when I emailed customer support. No guarantees from me, however

Okay so after bootloader unlock says yes is it still unlockable though someone tried? I have been out of game though I have unlocked a few Xperia Z devices in past and as I recall the method was to enter your IMEI on official bootloader unlock page and they were to send you a code or smth for adb might be mixing up because I think my LG's had same method so my question is after entering imei on sony site they allow it automatically?
