Hey there.
I love Google's Photo's auto-update feature but is there a way to actually delete/organize photos on my device to reflect what I see on my Google+ Photos page - to have an actual two-way sync between the phone and the cloud?
Thanks and Happy 2015!

That's weird. I have Google+ install but don't have any of those "folders".
Any other apps you install recently?
Check in Account & Sync, see if any of those accounts have any kind of "photo" sync.
Gallery syncs with your google account so ANY pictures you post or share while signed in on a computer or phone will be synced to one place.
You can clear these by going to settings-applications-manage-all items-gallery -clear data...
And to permanently stop the syncing go into settings-accounts and sync-click on your account and deselect picasa web albums.
That should fix it

I have the same issue.
what i did was delete the pics of picasa and the albums which got rid of 2 of the albums.
but i still have 4 i cant seem to locate.
I have nothing other than my google account in accounts syncing.
they are empty and i cant delete them, i tried the above suggestions but that didnt clear the 4 remaining empty folders.
how can i locate them and remove them?
i dont get why there is not "hide albums" options either
Ignore this post
Dont ignore mine
I use Quickpic and you can excluded and include what folders you want to see and hide pics, great for showing friends things in default gallery without showing your valuables =D its free

You can use Google+ and have it set to auto upload your pictures.
Google+ use Picasa to host pictures and if you have Picasa sync on your tablet it will show up there too.

That's the way I do it. Any Picasa web albums automatically show up on any android device that is tied to my gmail account. Instant Upload on G+ will sent them to private albums, and from there you can share/post them. Nifty.
Once they are in Picasa you can view them in the gallary app as well (network connection provided ofc). In most Android's you can upload to Picasa from the galary app right after taking a picture, should you opt not to use G+.

Hi! I'm partially solved that problem by installing gapps-jb-picasa-20121011-signed.zip. That is an GoogleGallery.apk with Picasa sync enabled from ICS. It's work fine, but have one problem for me: when i wish to set up foto to Contact from Gallery — Gallery closes with error.

My friend has a Samsung S4 and can sync all the pictures he has on facebook onto his phone. I'd like to have that or know how to,
i tried going into settings but its only possible to sync From Phone => facebook. And not From Facebook => To Phone
Thanks in advance!

Try the below app, its in play store!! It stores all from Facebook to gallery!
<<Download photos from Facebook>>
well thats to download one photo at a time and not put em into the correct folders, i'd like to have the sync option =P
You can use Ubersync for Facebook to get your contacts synced.
well i more-less need the images, not the contact pictures =P haxsync does that
Let me start off by saying I do not do social media at all, including Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. I know there is a way to automatically backup photos to a Google+ account but I do not want that. I want to be able to automatically upload pictures from my Nexus 5 to my Picasa account. Is this possible? If so, could someone tell me how?
Thanks!

Picasa and Google+ Photos are now merged.

So would I have to have a Google+ profile in order to do this? I really don't want to do that.
Yes, but if you're currently using Picasa Web Albums you've given Google all the information they need for a G+ profile. All you need is a name and e-mail address, you don't need to put any other information on there and the profile defaults to everything being private.
Just keep in mind that Picasa Web Albums is really just a legacy way to access it and everything is being stored through Google+ now. If you're not happy about Google+ I would recommend switching to a different storage option like MyShoebox, Adobe Revel, Flickr, etc...
